PoliticsAtiku : William J. Jefferson Corruption Case by katunj(op): 11:20am On Oct 08, 2018
The corruption case against then Louisiana Congressman William J. Jefferson in the United States started on a suspicion of bribery. The FBI raided his Congressional offices in May 2006. He was re-elected to his seat in the fall. On June 4, 2007, a federal grand jury indicted Jefferson on sixteen charges related to corruption.[1] Jefferson was defeated by Republican Joseph Cao on December 6, 2008,[2] and was the most senior Democratic incumbent to lose re-election that year.[3] In 2009 he was tried in the US District Court in Virginia on corruption charges.[4] On August 5, 2009, he was found guilty of 11 of the 16 corruption counts.[5] Jefferson was sentenced to 13 years on November 13, 2009, the longest sentence ever given to a congressman for bribery or any charge.[6]

After a related bribery case was heard by the United States Supreme Court (McDonnell v. United States (2016), Jefferson's lawyers appealed his case. In view of the findings by the Supreme Court, District Judge T.S. Ellis III dropped seven of the ten charges on which Jefferson had been convicted and ordered his release from prison on October 5, 2017. On December 1, 2017, a federal judge reduced his sentence to time served: five years and five months, based on a joint recommendation by the prosecutors and defense attorneys.[7]

The investigation began in mid-2005, after an investor alleged $400,000 in bribes were paid through a company maintained in the name of Jefferson's spouse and children. The money was traced to a tech company named iGate, Inc., of Louisville, Kentucky. In return for the payment, it is alleged, Jefferson would help iGate's business. Jefferson was to persuade the U.S. Army to test iGate's broadband two-way technology and other iGate products; use his efforts to influence high-ranking officials in Nigeria, Ghana, and Cameroon; and meet with personnel of the Export-Import Bank of the United States, in order to facilitate potential financing for iGate business deals in those countries.[8]

On 30 July 2005, Jefferson was videotaped by the FBI receiving $100,000 worth of $100 bills in a leather briefcase at the Ritz-Carlton hotel in Arlington, Virginia.[citation needed] Jefferson told an investor, Lori Mody, who was wearing a wire, that he would need to give Nigerian Vice President Atiku Abubakar $500,000 "as a motivating factor" to make sure they obtained contracts for iGate and Mody's company in Nigeria.[9]

A few days later, on 3 August 2005, FBI agents raided Jefferson's home in Northeast Washington and, as noted in an 83-page affidavit filed to support a subsequent raid on his Congressional office, "found $90,000 of the cash in the freezer, in $10,000 increments wrapped in aluminum foil and stuffed inside frozen-food containers". Serial numbers found on the currency in the freezer matched serial numbers of funds given by the FBI to their informant.

Late on the night of May 20, 2006, FBI agents executed a search warrant at Jefferson's office in the Rayburn House Office Building.[10] After the raid, one of Democrat Jefferson's staunchest defenders in the turf battles between the FBI and Congress became Dennis Hastert, who was the Republican Speaker of the House.[11]

The affidavit used to support these raids alleged:

The FBI videotaped Jefferson receiving a stock certificate from Mody for a company set up in Nigeria to promote iGate's technology. Jefferson predicted the deal would generate $200 million annually after five years.
Jefferson told Mody that he wanted a similar financial stake in the business in Ghana.
Jefferson sought $10 million in financing from Mody to take over iGate and install "confidants" on the new board. In two payments, Mody wired $89,225 to the ANJ Group LLC, a company controlled by Jefferson's family.
Jefferson lent $4,800 of the money Mody gave him to an unnamed congressional aide. Another $4,900 was given back to the FBI by one of Jefferson's attorneys.
The FBI claims it has uncovered "at least seven other schemes in which Jefferson sought things of value in return for his official acts".

blueto:
It is a pity that some APC traducers have misquoted and misinterpreted that statement by Okonjo-Iweala to “Jonathan lacked the political will to save” instead of government(governors) lacked the political will to save under Jonathan's administration, all just to paint Jonathan as a failure and poison the mind of Nigerians against him.

Now that Jonathan's govt have been vindicated by giving accounts of how its share was used the pertinent and rational questions now are,

• What did those governors(especially those plaintiffs that moved the motion and compelled FG to share the funds like Amaechi, Oshiomhole, Fashola) do with the astronomical share of the ECA that were disbursed to them?

• How much is currently in our Excess Crude Account considering that oil price has been undulating between $45 to $50 per barrel and the benchmark at $38?
Vindicated? by sharing the money among his fellow thieves masquerading as fuel marketers? still not the same marketers are been probed for fuel subsidy scam? SMH

The government was loosing money by this arrangement and also the free money was not used by the banks to help fund SME's. I wholly support this move by the government.

All these points you raised are only permissible when talking about physical products like drugs, food, etc! Who buys physical copies of movies again? In this era of cinemas, Bluetooth, wifi, and torrenting? What's UPC barcode, to the Alaba boys, or notjustok, or tooxclusive etc? Guy, 80% of my music are from itunes, and i dont even have an account with itunes. We have more than 30000 full nollywood movies on YouTube... Who gives a hoot about UPC? So whats the point and who is the clueless one?

For your information, anybody can clone barcode. If a technology can read a barcode, that same technology can clone it. As a programmer and a web developer, I know what I'm saying. If any solution must be introduced to curb piracy, it must directly address digital contents transfer in the Nigeria webspace.

Personally I can recommend 20 policies that can put an end to piracy in Nigeria, but i won't because I'm not getting paid to do so. I really dont have time, to go back and forth with the issue. I wish i had time. Technology is dynamic and ever-changing; so read up.
Like seriously you the clueless one here, barcodes are not just for physical product alone, get it.
Amazon, eBay et al sells digital contents and they all use barcode. Did I hear you say in this era of cinema, Bluetooth, wifi, torrenting? That is why you are advice to get digital signature. Haven't you heard of ISRC? Please try go read about it.
Barcode/ISRC is what streaming sites use. ISRCs are widely used in digital commerce by download sites, encoded ISRC provide the means to automatically identify recordings for royalty payments.
You being a developer is not immunity to ignorance, your idea of barcoding product is way too low, your ideal of anybody can generate barcode show that you know next to nothing. There are standards for barcodes EAN-8, EAN-13 just to mention a few, Nigeria prefix is 615*********** and is in the EAN-13 format which is 12 plus the check digit that makes it 13. Guy you need to read more and get updated and not by this am a developer.

Unbelievable! In 2016, these guys are still talking about barcoding CDs. This is why we need young, vibrant, tech-savy guys in every department, agency and ministry in Nigeria. This idea is dead on arrival, for few reasons.
1. No one buys C.Ds again.: seriously, when was the last time anybody purchased a physical copy of Nollywood films? Haven't they heard of youtube? Or irokotv? e.t.c. Dont tell me that they also plan to Barcode irokotv movies and our Bluetooths/wifi. Looool.

2. Barcoding is an outdated concept : Thess days, we are talking about end-to-end encryption of data; just like what whatsapp recently introduced to its messaging platform
. I doubt if any of these guys @ the meeting know what that even means. In this era of torrenting.

3. Verifying authentic CDs will be cumbersome and cost ineffective.

4. At the end of the day, billions of naira will be wasted on this dumb idea, and next year, another dumb idea will come up. Ill stop here, because i don dey dose up. I know most of us have more reasons.

As a Nigerian, it hurts to see that these are the kind of people at the helm of power. Little wonder is it, that they cannot come up with innovative ideas to steer the crumbling economy.
Fellow nairalanders, Archaic policies must stop, period!
Guy ask questions if you don't know thing, all what you typed are trash. My first question to you is can you list your song on iTunes with out a UPC barcode?

GS1 US, GS1 UK etc all are promoting the use of 1D and 2D barcode in healthcare, music etc. For end to end traceability I.e from manufacturer to end user

And for your info NAFDAC, Ministry of health and GS1 Nigeria are working endlessly to implement full healthcare traceability using 2D barcode(data matrix), the platform is called SafePharma.

So tell all your people that have no other job than to sell counterfeit drugs, the end is near.

I love you, you too smart like your papa, how on earth will OP carryout such test without considering distance of the sound source to the measuring device. OP Abeg u no try.
bigtt76:
Nice one BUT it's wrong measuring the sound output or quality of a mobile phone with that of an LED TV.

The reason being that both devices have speakers made of different quality and technology. Forget about Tecno saying it's Dolby.

Mobile devices have speakers made mostly out of piezo elements than same materials that of the LED TV are (traditional air blurring diaphragm material).

Also the positioning of the speakers matters a lot. On the TV is located either at the back or the base whose outlet is being blocked by the desk it's seating on. On the phone either at the back or the base but because you held it up, it is free of any blockade hence it may seem louder.

A true test of sound output would be to use same device against each other and not this.

PoliticsDiezani Madueke, Oshiomhole & The Stolen $6 Billion Dollars Nigeria Oil Revenue. by katunj(op): 10:53am On Aug 06, 2015
Diezani Madueke, Nigeria’s former oil minister is the person the entire watchers in the oil industry including the international community, government officials, oil magnets and friends of Jonathan believe as the super minister that stole Nigeria’s $6.2 billion dollars as revealed by Adams Oshiomhole, Edo State Governor.
President Buhari of Nigeria had traveled to the US two weeks ago and during his meeting with President Obama and other State Department officials in Washington, was given a list of oil thieves who stole the nation blind under the presidency of Goodluck Jonathan.

Governor Adams Oshiomhole of Edo State who was part of President Buhari’s delegation, giving a hint of what the list contains said that, “The PDP destroyed the country. I mean from the lips of American officials; senior officials of the State Department said one minister under PDP cornered as much as $6billion…“The man said even by Washington standard, which is earth-quaking”

Another prominent Nigerian and wife of late MKO Abiolaa, who, like me, is also conversant with certain facts about the oil industry and happenings around the diplomatic community, challenged the figures and claimed that the amount the unnamed Jonathan’s minister stole is $9.3 billion dollars. According to Queen Zainab Duke-Abiola, the Akasoba of Kalabari land in the Niger Delta, she had evidence from the White House that a former Petroleum Minister stole $9.3 billion.

Duke Abiola, said that: “According to the information available to us, the minister stole more than $9 billion; not Australian dollars, but US dollars.”

“And what I am saying is that the money should be used to develop the Niger Delta. Use this to help the impoverished Niger Deltans,” she added.

I do not want to go into the controversy of whether it is $6 billion dollars or $9.3 billion dollars, but all I know is that from information available to me, the figure of Duke Abiola, who also hails from the Niger Delta, is nearer to what insiders believe Sweet Diezani cornered from the national treasury. Diezani has become a butt of joke among diplomatic circles worldwide at how a pretty African woman can loot and impoverish her people, including fellow women.

Diezani Madueke, is a woman who has so much power around the Presidency of Jonathan that if she had listened to simple advice, including the ones I gave publicly, she would have turned Nigeria on the path of greatness. I closely monitored the level of power this woman wielded, such that she became a source of constant quarrel between the President and his wife Patience. This woman simply had the First Lady in derision and all attempts by Patience to make her husband see Diezani as Jezebel failed till weeks before the rescheduled Presidential elections.

Nigerians must know that that it was Diezani Maduke that brought down the Jonathan Government, giving credence to the alleged warning the First Lady had given the then President. US officials had always pointed out to Jonathan the level of corruption existing in the system and how they are being committed by his friend and cronies. They have always pointed in the direction of Diezani as one person whose level of loot is actually earth shaking, even by US standards. There were even attempts to convince Jonathan to sack her quietly, but the later was too weak to take any step against the pretty lady, until her greed swallowed his presidency.

It was a sober and regretful Jonathan, after conceding defeat to Buhari, was in no mood to see Diezani, and when she was bent on bursting in on the former, was shouted out of his office. Jonathan’s eyes opened too late. He was already on his way to Otuoke.

Nigerians must know that it was the US and UK pressures that made it possible for Buhari to be president of Nigeria. They quietly eased Jonathan away, and I got wind of such grand plot. They cited levels of corruption unseen in the history of Nigeria, and pointed also at Jonathan’s insistence on retaining a most corrupt woman as Oil Minister.

Diezani greedily put hand in every oil deal. In a piece I published earlier in April 2012 titled ‘Injustice! How Babangida, Abacha, Obasanjo shared Nigeria’s Oil Blocks’ and another one in February 2015 titled ‘30 Facts about Owners of Nigeria’s Richest Oil Blocks in the Midst of National Poverty’ I stated concerning Diezani that “in April 2011 Mike Adenuga attempted to buy Shell’s OML 30 for $1.2 billion dollars. The Minister for Petroleum and Nigeria’s most powerful woman refused the sale of the OML30 to Adenuga citing national interest. This block was later sold to Heritage Oil for $800 million dollars eleven months later”.

In this deal, Nigeria was shortchanged of a whopping $400 million dollars (N80 billion naira). Everybody fingered Diezani Madueke’s influence for the open theft which favored Shoreline Energy, the local partner to the deal. Since she tasted the forbidden apple, she cut deals off all oil blocks till the last one done two months to the end of the Jonathan administration.

Her last deal two months to end of Jonathan’s regime, involved the transfer of operator-ship of another of the country’s most valued oil fields, OML 42, with capacity of estimated 700 million barrels, from NPDC, subsidiary of NNPC, to Neconde Energy Ltd.

The irrationality behind the transfer caused Nigeria’s oil workers under National Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers (NUPENG) and Petroleum and Gas Senior Staff Association (PENGASSAN) to down tools paralyzing economic activates all over Nigeria in March, 2015. As usual the presidency told Nigerians that it was the opposition party that is sabotaging it. The oil workers, having watched how OML 30 was sold in 2011, plus subsequent others, decided to protest the last one.

Nigeria was losing about 250,000 barrels of oil to oil thieves daily and the Group Managing Director of Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Mr Yakubu at the Oil and Gas Conference in Abuja in March 2014, put the crude oil theft for 2013 alone at $11 billion dollars.

Acording to Yakubu “in 2013 alone, the country lost 300,000 barrels of crude oil per day (bpd). By implication, computing these figures at an average price of $100 per barrel, it would result in a total loss of $10,950,000,000 (300,000 x $100 per barrel x 365 days= $10,950,000,000) in 2013 alone”. Is Diezani unaware of this?

While this theft is ongoing, another theft involving deliberate sale of millions of barrels of Nigeria’s crude was ongoing, without recourse to any procedure. This is advanced official oil theft. This one goes through what looks like official channel but usually the quantity is in batches of 1 or 2 million barrels. This is the type of deal President Buhari said that one minister was selling 1 million barrels of oil daily and putting the money into private account.

They sold many hundreds of batches of 1 and 2 million barrels over a period of 5 years, netting between $ 100 and $ 200 million dollars per deal. For estimated 100 such deals, it amounts to $20 billion dollars stolen, sold, pocketed without recourse to Federation Account. Was Diezani unaware of this too.

In another widely circulated piece ‘Stolen! $142 billion dollars Nigeria’s Oil Revenue in 5 years, in the Midst of National Poverty, Additional Financial Mathematics’ I have stated that “Total probable missing/ stolen or unremitted Oil funds in 60 months(of Jonathan’s regime) = 142.2 billion dollars” and I tabulated how I arrived at the figures accordingly. Coincidentally, President Buhari told journalists in the US last month that Nigeria is looking for $150 billion dollars stolen in ten years. Therefore, we are at the same page.

Diezani Madueke led the greatest financial rape on Nigeria. I asked a PDP chieftain what they are doing with all the looting in the oil industry and he told me that they are preparing for 2015 presidential elections. This conversation was late January 2014.thirteen months to the elections. However, I had the feeling, with the level of looting, that probably there is attempt to plunder the nation ahead of possible breakup.

My counter-check with the various militant camps and leaderships, including NDPVF,MASSOB,OPC, and other groups did not suggest any high scale preparation associated with plot to break up and balkanize Nigeria. I resolved that this is pure greed. I raised alarm in certain places and happily elements within the international community heard, a topic scheduled for another day. I thank Nigeria’s online media community for invaluable cooperation whenever I raise such alarms, and players within NNPC and CBN whose information are valuable.

$6 billion dollars in the hands of one Jonathan’s Minister can build twelve (12no’s) of 2nd Niger Bridge at the cost of $500 million dollars (N100 Billion naira) each and silly Igbo leaders will not have to fall down and beg any Jonathan to give the South East an overpriced PPP Bridge, as though the money being looted by one “Sweet Babe’ cannot give us one.

$6 billion dollars can build 12 brand new six lane Enugu-Port Harcourt Expressway or 18 brand new Enugu-Onitsha Expressways and the average of twenty Igbo and Niger Delta blood spilled weekly on those roads due to accidents associated with poor state , will not occur.

$6 billion dollars can create 2 million jobs in Nigeria if prudently managed, and by means of economic viral effect, take 10 million people out of poverty line, and one Jonathan’s minister diverted it and somebody is playing ethnic and religious card. Nonsense!

$6 billion dollars is part of the $142 billion dollars answered prayer from God to the Nigerian masses, including my church members , disciples, and followers and some silly things , powered by the Queen of the Coast, stole it, using it to fly private jets, buy perfumes, Victoria Secrets, Mary Kay Products and properties overseas. I do not want to talk more, but I want the oil looters to know that many Nigerians know where they hid their money.

Sweet Diezani and her co travelers drawn from all tribes and religions, who connived to steal various sums from oil theft ranging from $6 billion dollars and accumulating to over $142 billion dollars should stop using part of the loot to lobby some prominent northerners for soft landing, they should return our money quietly and publicly before the Thunder of God will Fire them to non-existence for lending hand to the devil in destroying Nigeria.

The issue might not have degenerated into a public shouting match; or the recalling of accredited ambassadors, but hardliners within the Cameroon government have been pressuring President Paul Biya to withdraw Cameroon’s Special Forces currently engaged in the war against the murderous Islamist Boko Haram sect in the northern part of the country, as part of a coalition of the willing to curtail the activities of the terrorists that have killed over 15,000 people and displaced around 1.5 million people during the six-year insurgency in which it has tried to establish an Islamic caliphate in Nigeria. Tension between Cameroon and Nigeria is mounting after Cameroonian authorities worked diplomatic back channels to demand an official explanation from Nigeria for the diplomatic snub by President Buhari; failure to which they will back out of the anti-Boko Haram coalition, in which Cameroonian troops are currently engaging Boko Haram.

Yaoundé authorities are irked at what they said was a diplomatic snub by the new administration in Abuja after President Buhari skipped Cameroon and visited Chad and Niger Republic, to discuss efforts at combating the insurgency that has spiraled into neighboring countries of Cameroon, Chad and Niger. Cameroon has been on the frontlines of the fight against Boko Haram, committing several battalions of its rapid intervention brigade (BIR) to the northern part of the country where hundreds have been killed, including at least 100 of its soldiers, fighting Boko Haram. Thousands have also been displaced in the fighting along the northern borders; where Cameroon is hosting a battalion of Chadian soldiers fighting the insurgents.

Multiple sources at Unity Palace; the Cameroonian presidency told Huhuonline that Yaoundé was apprehensive that President Buhari decided to pay his first foreign visit to Niger, where he spent two days with President Mohamadou Issoufou; from where he flew to Chad to meet with President Idris Derby Itno for talks on the way forward in the war against Boko Haram. Cameroonian officials had hoped that after Chad, President Buhari would at least make a stop in Yaoundé, which is just an hour flight from the Chadian capital, Ndjamena. But that did not happen.

To their consternation and surprise, Buhari returned home, only to honor an invitation by G-7 leaders in Germany to talk about climate change. “The action of the Nigerian president is the highest watermark of ingratitude; an insult and a mark of contempt by the new Nigerian leader for the people of Cameroon and this is unacceptable,” a source at the Cameroon embassy in Washington DC told Huhuonline. The source said, “Cameroon had no dog in the fight; Boko Haram was a purely internal Nigerian affair; we were dragged into the war following repeated incursions by Boko Haram militants who forayed into our territory and kidnapped foreigners and the wife of the Cameroonian vice prime minister, who was later rescued.” Cameroonians are angry over the perceived diplomatic snub on the part of Nigeria because not only has Cameroon been at the frontline of the fight against Boko Haram and has lost dozens of its valiant soldiers as well as innocent men, women and children; but unlike Chad and Niger, Cameroon is also hosting thousands of Nigerian refugees who have fled the violence and are now living in Cameroon.

No reason was given by Aso Rock for President Buhari’s failure to visit Cameroon but Presidential spokesman, Malam Shehu Garba, only confirmed in a statement that the President’s trip to Chad and Niger specifically focused on “matters of security,” since Nigeria’s neighbors remain crucial to ending the Boko Haram insurgency. This open acknowledgment reinforced hard feeling amongst Cameroonian officials that Buhari treated them with “disrespect” and for which an apology will not even be enough!

The combined operation by forces from Cameroon and Chad have seen the Nigerian military claim a series of major victories over Boko Haram across the northeast but the terrorist have made Cameroon their second front and still hold positions along the Cameroonian border with Nigeria, in the Sambisa Forest and Mandara mountains. Joint operations by Chadian and Cameroonian forces have also seized Boko Haram positions and prevented Boko Haram fighters from escaping as Nigerian forces and South African mercenaries close on them.

It was expected that with Cameroon having suffered the second largest casualties in the ongoing war against Boko Haram, Buhari would have visited Cameroon first, given that Cameroon is also host to over three million resident Nigerians, including refugees from the Nigerian civil war of 1967-70, who currently call Cameroon home. Diplomatic watchers have interpreted Buhari’s failure to visit Cameroon, as evidence of the frosty relations between President Biya; one of Africa’s longest serving presidents (in power since 1982) and Buhari; now the new face of Africa’s democratic transition. The animosity between the two men are said to be more personal.

Yaoundé diplomatic sources believe that Aso Rock is sending a message that Cameroon no longer featured in their strategic calculus to defeat Boko Haram after the Nigerian army effectively relocated its headquarters from Abuja to Maiduguri, the largest city in the northeast, on Monday. Aso Rock sources hinted that Buhari did not fail to notice the earlier snub by Biya who failed to attend his inauguration despite repeated assurances by the Cameroonian president; who was represented at the event by vice-prime minister, Ahmadou Ali. “Why would the President visit someone who refused to honor his own invitation” the source asked?

According to the source, the Cameroonian president is known to be “snobbish” and “arrogant” and despite Cameroon’s effort in the war against Boko Haram, Buhari is said to harbor strong feelings against Biya for not doing enough to end the harassment and victimization of Nigerians residing in the Bakassi peninsular which was handed to Cameroon by the International Court of Justice (ICJ). “The issue which has thus become imperative to address is how to save the people of Bakassi from the negative implications and consequences of the ICJ’s decision and protect them from the brutal proclivity of the Cameroon Government,” the source noted, adding; Buhari will like to see the Cameroonian president focus on “the catalogue of inexplicable and unjustifiable harassment, intimidation and extra-judicial killings of Nigerians living in Bakassi by Cameroonian gendarmes.”

Huhuonline understands that Buhari, like most in the military, were strongly against ceding Bakassi to Cameroon, saying Obasanjo sacrificed the sovereignty of Nigeria on the altar of his personal quest for international credibility as a statesman, following his election in 1999. Many soldiers, including then Chief of Army Staff, Gen. Chukwumerije favored sending Nigerian troops to occupy the peninsular; and ignore the ICJ verdict, pointing to states like Britain, Israel, and others that had ignored similar verdicts. But OBJ overruled them, even after Biya left him waiting at the airport in Yaoundé for over three hours.

The incident was recounted in Lagos by former Cross Rivers State Governor, Donald Duke, at a special lecture to commemorate the 60th birthday of retired Federal High Court Justice, Charles Archibong. Duke recalled that Biya snubbed Obasanjo over an earlier clash between him and former military Head of State, late General Sani Abacha. “The issue of Bakassi is interesting. There was the legal aspect and there was the international politics aspect of it. Behind the scene, a lot of meetings took place and in a bid to attend one of those meetings, we arrived at the airport in Cameroon with then President Olusegun Obasanjo and at the airport, President Biya was there seeing off another leader, but he snubbed us. “He (Biya) left us at the airport for over three hours and we were there at the airport with embassy staff not knowing what to do. Grudgingly, he met with us and lectured us on Bakassi. We later found out that he was reacting to an earlier confrontation between him and General Abacha over Bakassi,” Duke narrated.

It remains unclear whether Buhari can re-litigate Bakassi since the 10-year statute of limitation expired and the government of President Jonathan refused to appeal the ICJ verdict. But whether Cameroon can back out of the fight against Boko Haram is easier said than done, giving that Cameroon is the second front in the war and Boko Haram has made direct threats to Cameroon and continues to launch sporadic attacks inside Cameroonian territory, capturing hostages, stealing food and killing civilians.

Politics"Even Jonathan Did Not Finish His Phd Course"-obj by katunj(op): 11:29am On Jan 22, 2015
….

The truth of the matter is that Jonathan is aware that Buhari is qualified to contest for President Election but some hawks with Jonathan, do not want him to contest Because they believed that he will win and come for them.
The issue came up in 2007, and we investigated and found out that his WASEC is with the military and that was why he was allowed to contest in 2007.
Buhari cannot listen to anyone about his certificates because as a General of Nigeria Army, he will speak when he chooses, not by Femi Fani Kayode and Okupe asking him.
Fayose and other corrupt People including Kashamu do not want Buhari because of his anti-corruption slogan. Even Jonathan did not finish his PhD course but when it was presented we stated that, it does not matter but many people do not know because it was PDP thing.
I see Buhari as the next President and Jonathan is aware of that, and that is the reason they are hitting him everywhere to put confusion in his camp. But a General is always a General….
