Christianity Etc › Re: The Spiritual Controls The Physical by Kay17: 10:39pm On Sep 30, 2014
Loveaflame: All physical activities are simply a reflection of what goes on in the spirit realm. There are two basic forces in the spirit realm that controls the activities of men and they are the Force of Light which refers to God's kingdom and the Force of Darkness which refers to the kingdom of satan. These two forces seek to rule the affairs of men.

Man is really a spiritual entity enclosed in a gross material body. The real man is his his spirit. The Bible told us in Genesis 2 that man was made from the dust of the earth and God breathed into him and he became a living soul having a spirit also. Man can relate with his physical environment with his brain and relate with the spiritual with the spirit while the soul is a door way or a middle man between the spiritual and the physical.

Man as a spiritual being is what really counts in life. Until you take your spiritual life serious life in the physical may not express God's divine purpose for one. The spiritual rules over the physical. This is the real reason many are fascinated about the supernatural. The many who are getting involved in mysticism, cultism, metaphysics, psychics phenomenon all attest to the superiority of the supernatural.

Even scientist who deny the existence of God are gradually coming to terms that life is beyond the electrons or protons in an atom. They now believe there are things beyond the human senses. There are deep research going on on esoteric studies. The things beyond the human senses is the spiritual world.Even the dreams people have are a simple reflection of the spiritual realm.Dreams really reveals the spiritual activities going on in the spirit realm.

Many lives are not what it ought to be because their spiritual world is controlled by negative forces. The forces of evil are fully out to frustrate human especially as it regards the person of Christ which they vehemently resist. The massive hatred against the name and person of Jesus is more than just sentiment,it is something that is backed up by evil beings.

There are many who don't know their lives may not express more than what they are in the spirit realm. You are just a simple reflection of your person in the realm of the spirit.Until you overcome in the spirit realm you will never move unto a glorious life.It is more than achieving financial success which though only few have been able to achieve. It is more of fulfilling your divine mandate in God.

Going to church alone will not give you victory.Neither do praying and fasting alone will do the magic. The Bible declares in Hosea 4:6 that God's people are destroyed due to lack of KNOWLEDGE.Spiritual revelations bring revolutions into your life. It takes spiritual foresight to change your life-set.Ignorance is an expensive good that one can't afford to pay the price. What you don't know is greater than you.If your life has not changed or progressed into what you want it to be it simply means there are thing you are still ignorant of spiritually.

There are many though who have gone the pathway of the supernatural that is outside the realm of light but such is just a counterfeit of God its end result is always disastrous. Any supernatural knowledge outside the person of Christ can never bring that total change in one's godly life and give total peace also.Life outside Christ will always end in crisis.

Accepting Jesus is the doorway to the greatest force in the universe.Confessing Jesus is not the issue but living in the full consciousness of who He is and what you are in Him is what can give you true spiritual victory over the forces of evil. When you are made strong in Him controlling and overcoming all evil forces in your life become a piece of cake.

This is the reason the forces of evil have manipulated many not to accept the person of Christ and to also manipulate those who claim to accept Him not to live for Him or grow in Him.When Jesus is well rooted in your life, spiritual warfare that many engage in to overcome the forces of darkness takes on a new dimension.Your spiritual warfare this time around is with divine instruction and direction. You don't just waste your saliva in shouting and crying in prayers, you pray with divine accuracy and that makes you rule your spiritual realm.

Your physical life will definitely change as you get it right spiritually. You now rule your world because you have been made a king according to Revelation 1:6.The forces of darkness know too well how to brainwash people to relax and take spiritual issues with the hands of levity. This is reflected in the degree of immorality and unrighteousness among those who claim to follow the Master Jesus.Such lives of sins are no threat and no match to the forces of darkness.

You can only dominate the spiritual realm when the forces of darkness has no point of contact with you whether via your background or your careless lifestyle. One sign that you will notice if you have truly dominated your spiritual realm is the kind of dreams you have because that is the easiest access to the spirit world.Supernatural knowledge is needed for your victory.Spiritual warfare base on prophetic instructions is the easiest way to overcome spiritual battles. There are many books written on spiritual issues but there are few books that truly give solid results.Just check the link below to explore some of them.

http://apostlefrancisministries..com/2014/09/the-uncommon-books-are-out-after-many.html
I strongly believe this is a snake oil solution. You have placed yourself in a position whereby you can't substantiate what you have said. Therefore it is a lie. Because there is no way you can prove the Spirit without the physical as a medium. On a fundamental level, the dichotomy of physical/spiritual is a false one.

paulGrundy: Are you now trying to tell me now that you don't pay taxes, didn't do your NYSC, don't have an international passport?

Point am trying to make is that pledging allegaince is inevitable, there is nothing wrong with subjecting oneself to govt authority so long as it does conflict with our christian values.

Below is the oath of allegiance of judge Rutherford and Nathan knor, watchtowers founding presidents with their signature below it, what is your take on it?
An oath of allegiance is not inevitable, it is optional. There are alternatives.

Gombs: Bible says we should ALL laws of man... ie all laws you find in a city, town, country.. obey, if you don't like the laww, pray for a change or move out
I think practical cases aid our ethical decisions, so I ask you; do you believe the German Christians that supported, propped up and elongated the the Evil called the Nazi regime, obeyed the Bible by obeying earthly authorities?? Note that the Nazi regime was not a representation of Christian values.

Same with people who lived under the Khmer Rouge or Communist states, are the Christians obliged to obey the laws of such States?

paulGrundy: Going by your logic, you are also guilty of your accusation, people pledge allegiance to their state via different mediums: national anthem, international passport, payment of taxes, NYSC e.t.c

Gombs: Jer 29:7 New International Version
Also, seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you into exile. Pray to the LORD for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper."

Psalm 122:6
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: "May those who love you be secure.

1 Timothy 2:1-2
I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people, for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.

you're JW, right? My allegiance i in the word, and it asks me to seek the peace and prosperity of the State, and pray for her leaders... Since the word has peace and prosperity in it, i dish the state the word then. Simple
The allegiance to one State makes you an enemy with another. Merely wishing a city or your neighbour prosperity does not equate to allegiance to the State. A crucial example is the number of German Christians that fought and defended the Nazi Regime (an epitome of Evil). Wouldn"t you consider that an error??

dandydaniels: I am proud of my dad...that real g (rip to his soul) didn't beat my mum...He's a real man

there's a big difference between fear and respect...u can't punch out respect from your wife only fear

the story making rounds in almost every blog site is how teebillz have turned his wife tiwa savage into a punching bag...brother if that's true...I repeat if* that's true.... then you are not a real man

women are lesser beings(fact)....why waste your strength and time beating them? bro c'mon! they are made to be loved...to be bought clothes...jewelries...cars...taken to cool places...pampered...and at night made to sing in tongues to their creator

for the real men out there...let's control our tempers and treat every woman...not just our wives with respect. when it comes to women affairs,my dad is my role model. " never beat a woman son"

STOP DOMESTIC VIOLENCE
I'm always scared of adjectives such as "true" love, "real" men BECAUSE THEY ARE SO SUPERFICIAL AND UNDERMINE THE MEANINGS OF THE ORIGINAL WORDS. A real man is a definition that aligns with anatomy not morality.

God is a higher being, women are lower beings grin same dogma.

texanomaly: Personality can definitely be a factor in how successful your parenting skills are. I've been told that I am a very loving and patient person. I do try. That, on top of the training and experience I have, culminate into the attitude I use, and the techniques I have perfected over the years.

Honestly, I wish every expectant parent was required to take a parenting class. Frankly, I don't care how the adults feel about it. Children don't ask to be brought into this world. They deserve better than what many have to endure.
Whipping them reasonably and moderately is a sign of love also. For me, whipping is a form of condition to direct their behaviour into the desired patterns. You wouldn't always buy all the toys for them, or all the icecream, sometimes you have to force them to take the bitterest pills, force them to the best habits (waking up early, early independence, reading patterns). You just can't reason with them to have those done.

LordReed: I am showing you a prime example of how women try to play the victim card even where it is not evident they victims in any way or manner. How did you construe it to mean all women are not diligent? Is that what I wrote? See you doing the very thing I am talking about? Playing the "poor us women we've been insulted" card. All this emotional blackmail won't get very far, the gimmick is old and won't produce the kind of quality leadership you think women can display.
LordReed: Women moan about how they are not given assignments but give them one and they start looking for excuses not to be diligent so who's fault will it be when they get passed up for bigger things? You don't want to get your hands dirty but you want to be seen as capable, no it doesn't work that way
So that was where you made the insult. Nonetheless, you seem top admit women are at a disadvantage in society because they deserve it due to their fragile and non diligent attitude, right?

LordReed: Women are very famous for playing the victim even were no glass ceilings exist. I remember an incident, I was turning into an intersection on a two lane road and a woman was approaching on the right lane while I turned into the left. She starts horning and pulls up to me screaming how I cut her off because she's a woman. I looked at her amazed at not only the ignorance of driving rules but the classic "o spare me I'm a woman" ploy. It is repeated over and over again in this so called cry for civil rights and political leadership for women. You have the vote and opportunity to be voted for yet men have to roll over and play dead for you to take part in what is your right already? Why don't you go out and show that you are capable instead of playing the victim card? Have you contested for office and had your candidacy rejected based on sex? Have you proved yourself capable at work and had your career advance stalled because you are a woman? This is not what I see in the reality around me. In my workplace the women moan about how they are not given assignments but give them one and they start looking for excuses not to be diligent so who's fault will it be when they get passed up for bigger things? You don't want to get your hands dirty but you want to be seen as capable, no it doesn't work that way.
What you have said above has little to do with real issues such as political and social liberation. Who cares where you drive! And you mock/insult women by saying ALL women are not diligent.

http://cwcs.ysu.edu/about/current-projects/journalism/articles/female-coalminer

Does this suggest adequate representation to you? And so now prostitution is a labourers job? O wow!
During World War 1 and 2, women took up men's jobs in manufacturing (include aircraft, tanks, weapons, sophisticated machinery), mining, civil administration, etc. That sufficiently shows women can take up any job. The main goal for feminists is political and civil liberation within the society. Women want education, family planning, leadership roles, purge on gender stereotypes etc.

Informal sector includes everything been said there apart from prostitution, mining and construction of course. Formal sector includes positions in organizations, doctors, lawyers, politics, enginering, mining, construction etc

zeemoore: I also think you're adopting a counterproductive approach that gentle discipline/loving guidance  is bad and must be avoided at all cost
The most effective "discipline" for a child is always positive, loving and gentle
Children learn best when they feel heard and valued, not when they feel on the defensive
I believe it's really not necessary to spank a child to have him understand the “error” of his ways.
I believe in communicating in a way that teaches rather than punishes
I believe in disciplining a child in ways that doesn't involve violence

LordReed: I thought I already made it clear I am not talking about rights but about stereotypes? You say stereotypes should be broken and I gave you examples about stereotypical jobs. Will such jobs be equally filled by women? Are women going to seek for quota representation among the ditchdiggers and other manual labourers?

And again I asked you a question which you didn't answer. Do you know of any place of work in Nigeria that pays females a different wage for the same work?
Why not?! Women fill in such roles/jobs too.
Family › Re: Feminism Redefined By Emma Watson by Kay17: 3:42pm On Sep 26, 2014

How many women would rather carry bricks than choose the "easier" option of prostituting? All those "runs girls" don't see where they are building houses?

BTW I have never in Nigeria seen where a woman is paid less than a man for the same job, have you?
Otherwise they deserve no political and civil rights, right??

We should get rid of equality, get rid of voting and have a monarch (king) instead, and purge the cancers of secularism and Christianity.
Don't monarch govern inferiors and subjects?? Wouldn't the number of inferior people be more in an autocratic state than in a democratic one?

Misogynist2014: I just couldn't help but reply. History repeating itself again! An atheist has skipped a logical arguement. That by the way, your points are baseless and superficial, with all feminism in the west, the men still lead with a wide and highly noticeable margin. In your entire life, have you ever seen both male and female animals having equal power.
I read some of your posts, where you described bible as being misogynist, you made silly points didn't you? How can you be misogynist and still tell people to love their wives, even to the point of dying for them.
Yes women are naturally submissive, its my theory, you have to debunk it if you are in any way serious.
You said we have females doing well in Academia, many other institutions and even religion(Osun, a goddess is one of the most visited gods in Africa), that is very good, could you pls compare it with the figures for men.And I in no way in my post say women should not work as you could see in the way I wrote that special works were reserved for women, all I said was that the works of women in home(which you belittle and is unarguably the foundation of every society) was highly regarded. As far as there is something called male and female, we remain unequal but equally beneficial and all, strong, weak, rich, poor, deserve human rights. The rest of the points you made are in my posts.
COULD YOU THEN ANSWER MY SIMPLE QUESTION ON ATHEISM, OR YOU WANNA CHICKEN OUT cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy http://www.dailymail.co.uk/debate/article-1274952/Men-ARE-brainy-women-says-scientist-Professor-Richard-Lynn.html
@ the bolded, How did you arrive at that theory. Please explain your methodology to us. But I must warn you, you made a general statement that ALL women are naturally submissive, so it will be very difficult for you to prove same.

First of all, you wouldn't agree with the foundational argument of the article. The writer lays the reason/fault at the doorstep of evolution. Most feminists on the other hand blame Gender. That the society has already prescribed the expectations of a woman as a homemaker thereby making women believe they find a better satisfactory place at the home. For example, in Africa an unmarried woman or barren woman is a failure. So you find most women devoting most of their energies at meeting these social expectations.

Misogynist2014: Immediately I read your post, I immediately checked your profile, my guess was good. The thoughtless statement came from an atheist. You sounded even more domineering than I ever will. You made the arguement and found the solutions shocked , then why did you quote me? To make me read your "intelligent" post or to show me how brilliant you are.
I asked an atheist one day, if big bang can explain the existence of magic, which I know it can't. If it is then true that magicians like Chris Angels can make mockery of the foundational scientific Laws(which are true but only in the physical and natural realm). Is it then safe to use science without accommodating the spiritual realm in the explanation of our universe? The fööl chickened away from the simple question, so would deluded and proud people like you. You will never learn until it is late.
All that is irrelevant for this topic. So I will it.
Misogynist2014: Yes men are superior to women, yes women are superior to men. Just the way a white cloth can boast of being lighter than black is the same way a black cloth can boast of being darker than white, but both are not equal, neither is one superior to one another, if all conditions are kept constant.
Those two are contradictions and you can't maintain both, one of them has to give way. Object A that is superior in relationship to another Object B naturally implies that Object B is inferior to Object A. For example Ferraris are superior to Fiat, it therefore means that Fiats are inferior to Ferraris. Simple basic reasoning.

Misogynist2014: But conditions are not constant in our world. The properties men have are much more needed in our daily activities and that of women are highly regarded in the home. The YORUBA knew these properties and decided to make the best use of it.
They appointed the Iyalode(women leader) in the palace in order to hear the feelings of women, and also made the position of queen highly regarded
At the coloured, those are recycled stereotypes which are untrue. In the 21st century, women are occupying positions which were exclusive to men in the past century. Today we find women in factories, sports, politics, academia, religious institutions, there are numerous female Nobel laureates; so our experience today nullifies those stereotypes. Besides it is through stereotypes man inflicts injustice.

At the bolded, in other words, Chief Homemaker without any real political power. The Queen had no real power either. The Oyo Empire entire political structure did not have one woman! The Alafin, the Bashorun and the Oyo Mesi were all men.

Misogynist2014: e.g. A proverb goes thus: There is no honour for a King with no queen. They made sure they completely alienated men from certain works, though they knew they could do it as good as women. E.g. Selling farm produce of their husband, selling of cooked foods, shelling of palm oil e.t.c. They made giving birth to a child look like discovering gold e.t.c. Women traded a lot and amazingly, they were allowed to keep their profit and own property
Didn't you suggest previously that women should be homemakers? Why are they careerist traders in your next statement??.

Misogynist2014: The problem with feminism is that 99.9 % of women are naturally submissive. The reason why feminists are so aggressive and cold is not because of men but because they are trying to use it to cover the submissive part of them(I challenge you to tell me a feminist with an unharming smiling face you see on happy school girls). Chimamanda Adichie is a naturally submissive woman, that is why she can't let go of the idea of changing to her husband's name, because deep inside her, she wants to.
More stereotypes and insults. Because your mother was naturally submissive does not mean all women are.
Misogynist2014: Chat with a feminist on Nairaland, she starts high and all of a sudden, she becomes low and begins to ask you why you had to say something abusive to her(as if looking for consolation or apology), you get to feel a little bit sorry for talking to a woman like that, but you behave like a man and continue like nothing happend.
Really.

Misogynist2014: I know a lot of women are being genuinely oppressed, I feel sorry
