We're running a budget deficit of 11 trillion. Last year was a deficit of 7 trillion. Keep playing ethnicity and tribalism card in this year's elections. Some people anyway don't have a future so they can be toying with their future by choosing a senile fellow to rescue Nigeria's ailing economy. We're in trouble and need the best to rule this country. Not even the normal.

lhordspy:I think your case is one of a generational curse. You're actually stooping this low? Lol |

lhordspy:Do you have a circular job or business? You're always on Nairaland. Seems this is where you get paid from. Campaigning for Tinubu |
YorubaNiBaba:Your don't even place any value on yourself. Seems you're a paid agent. |
Stop using tribalism to sing the support of your candidate. Doesn't say well of you and has a negative effect on his campaign. |
In Nigeria of 2023 that should be competing with countries like Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, we have an election candidate who has blatantly refused to come on television to tell the masses via public debate why he should be voted into power. He has just gone around paying jobless youths who come online and sing his support. I wonder why the Nigerian electorate keeps letting themselves get insulted like this? I honestly believe that anyone supporting APC after 8 years of calamitous leadership and worse still with a presidential candidate like Tinubu, has to be under a satanic spell. That's the only way I can sleep at night knowing that someone still wants to vote APC and Tinubu. |
To start off, I don't live in Nigeria. I live in Europe and what people are more interested in is how to improve their standard of living and get their country on the right track. Whenever I take time off work maybe to read Nairaland threads I feel very embarrassed. Nigeria is a sinking ship and what people are discussing in terms of how to turn things around is the tribe of the political candidate they are supporting. I'm sure some are ready to take up arms to start fighting if their candidate loses. Ideally, this should be about the masses vs the political class that have kept them in poverty. When I discuss Nigeria in my office, I feel very ashamed. First you explain how rich yet impoverished we are. Then you talk about the upcoming election season and how some candidates, who formed the original political class that got us into this mess, are still contesting and some people are supporting them because they are from the same ethnic group. It usually very embarrassing and jaw dropping. Many Nigerians and their shallow thinking are their own problem. Until you put the country above tribe and religion (both of which don't exist in heaven by the way), we'll move forward. Until suffer truly tire una, una go get sense comot the old political class of APC and PDP that brought Nigeria into this mess in the first place. Tufia for tribalism and religiosity! |
I've analysed the political sphere in Nigeria and comparing it to the developed countries we borrow money from and want to be like, I'm shocked that any normal well meaning Nigerian will want to support Tinubu. Atiku is no doubt corrupt but he seems to still have his thinking faculties intact. Tinubu on the other hand has two major problems: he's corrupt (how did he go from a fellow borrowing a car for his swearing in as governor of Lagos State in 1999 to owning private jets just a few years later without stealing?) and equally suffering from dementia. Below are just a summary of some of his mis-speakings: -"God bless PDAPC." -"Cassava, garri, ewa, agbado." -"Poisoned communion chalice." -"PDP is a tear tear umbrellatta." -"Four hundred bags barrels of oil" -"Go and collect your APV, APC & vote." -"A townhall is hulaba loo labaalol laba." -"A dead fish cannot be sweet in any soup." -"Broom! broom!! broom!!!brooooommm." -"BUHARRI BUHARRI...Say it again BUHARRI" -"A father of a child is mother of the father whose child is the father." -"Turning the rotten situation of the state to a bad one." -"The deputy senate president...will be the governor of Niger Delta state.” -"They could not even make a down payment for a roasted corn for that electricity" After analysing it, I believe many APC supporters are just putting their bellies before this nation and it's an absolute shame. |
You're just a very wicked or ignorant person
