OhBritannia:ALL Pro Wrestling events have been scripted since the 1940s. |
OhBritannia:Pro wrestling has always been a scripted performance since the 40s. |

Duchessree:I don't think you appreciated how much of an acid trip Dorohedoro is, if you think it's just OK. I need the drugs the creators were on cos that show's wild asf. |
nani667:Most villainous villain of all time, because how do you leave Old May and Aging May and then kill Milf May? That's worse than when he was playing balance beams with a bus full of school children. |
limcar:Man took the term "motherfücker" literally. |
DieRich5:To block your kungfu just dey hungry me, comrade.

Narrator-san is straight up the best character in all of fiction. Yutaka Aoyama understands the assignment.

Kobachi dropping this bomb so casually, it took more than a couple of seconds for the impact to register with Ishigami & Miko.

Weekend Movie - Redline (2009)

Fr tho, Martial Club been eating well since last year. From Mortal Kombat to Shang Chi to Everything Everywhere All at Once. And I'm just happy to see their grind paying off after these years.

Everything Everywhere All at Once (2022) 9/10 Directors: Daniel Kwan & Daniel Scheinert Everything actually does matter in this acid trip from directors Daniel and Daniel. Every piece of the story, the setting, almost all the characters (every version of them). Michelle Yeoh leads this multiversal adventure to solve a problem that wouldn't be created if Asian parents stopped putting so much pressure on they kids. Flanked by a couple of pretty talented actors Ke Huy Quan, playing Yeoh's husband, Waymond and Stephanie Hsu, playing their daughter, Joy. Ke Huy Quan was my standout performance in this movie, making his switches across all versions of Waymond look easy to perform and each one absolutely believable to the audience. Yeoh does a really good job conveying Evelyn's frustrations as she deals with a midlife crisis in denial while juggling the fate of life across all planes as we know it with an ailing father and a crumbling family and business. I don't know if there's any form of storytelling I respect more than combining the funny/ridiculous with the serious/grim and making it work. Daniel and Daniel nail that job here taking us on an absolute wild trip through the course of this movie while also maintaining its heart. Through all the hilarious, crazy, WTF moments in this story, we never lose sight of the real conflict or its weight and stakes. This balance in the storytelling, great performance from the cast, thrilling action choreography from my boys, Martial Club and a well-blended OST from Son Lux all come together to make this movie one of the best out of Everything that came out Everywhere so far this year. Yeah, I couldn't work in All at Once. But maybe in another universe, I did. ![]() Or maybe it's not that deep, and the movie's just trying to tell us that Asian parents will risk the multiverse ending before accepting they gay kids.

DieRich5:6-episode miniseries |
DieRich5:Drop the show. Watch something you actually enjoy |
GloriousGbola:No dey gas me up, comrade. Na only First School Leaving I hold laidis ![]() |
GloriousGbola:If he was talking about arthouse projects, he should specify that. Oscar bait movies are judged by the awards they're nominated for and win, after all. But majority of movies are commercial at the end of the day. So making a statement like "A film is not judged by its box office performance" and then failing to specify what it's supposed to be judged by, is a moot point. |
Baddestguyp:Film that didn't even break even is what you're saying made good money. Dey try rest small. No be everytime cho cho cho

Delacroix6:Goes deeper to where? What determines the success? |
Delacroix6:Really? What is it's success supposed to be judged by then? |
