Remember the bloodbath in the 3rd episode that neither Marc nor Steven claimed responsibility for? I believe there's a 3rd personality and that's who's inside the sarcophagus.

Tawaret made mention of the Ancestral plane, so basically, my understanding is, everyone goes to the afterlife they believe in when they die....It got me thinking, do people who believe in Norse religion in the MCU go to Valhalla, will we see Valhalla in Thor 4?

Finally saw Episodes 4 & 5 of Moon Knight...
Moon Knight could possibly be the best Marvel Disney+ show so far....

Possible Spoilers ahead...
Oscar winning am Emmy for his performance here wouldn't even rub me the wrong way...
Most times, I forget that Marc and Steven are actually the same. When they were trying to balance the scales by reconciling their memories, I forget for a moment that Marc and Steven were the(Childhood scene), same great exposure, sets up what we know their life turns out to be nicely in roughly less than 20 minutes. I intimated in my Episode 1 or 2 review that Jake could show up, It's the fifth episode and he isn't here yet, maybe the directors felt it would be too much but from what I've seen, Oscar can pull it off..

Part of the reason Moon Knight works so well is that it's disconnected from the greater MCU, no mention of a green monster rampaging through town, or a red and blue dressed guy swinging through New York..
It's self contained in its small pocket of the world while dealing with a threat serious enough to do some major damage to the population...
Hope they stick the landing...

P.S... Goddess Taweret is real cool...She had me reeling when she referred to her as "Gal"...

Taweret is a vibe. Wish she would pop up from time to time in subsequent episodes.

I'd also like to give a nod to Ethan Hawke. His performance has been great as well. I still can't figure whether his doctor persona is part of Marc/Steven's Duat hallucinations or whether he's actually invading their psyche.
Can't wait for the finale next week.

HBOMax holds so much promise.

There's also the movies Wonder Twins and Batgirl in production.

Dead Boy Detectives sounds like something I'd be interested in.

This Death Note ehn... Was premiumly enjoying it when I started last year.

I stopped after I stopped seeing Ryuk. Tried getting back to it but na Ultimate sleep dey knack me till I kept it in the fridge for the remainder of last year.

Tried to get back two days ago, Omo na so I sleep within 25mins. Not that it's boring, I no just know Wetin dey sup.
There was one time last year I was dedicated on finishing it before jumping to another anime. Omo for one week I just dey sleep and dose off. Forcibly trying to wrap it up na only 4/5 episodes I see watch in 6 days. Omo after that week na deep freezer I cast am put.

Time no dey sha. No force yourself. Perhaps one day, you go defrost am

I was quite shocked by their age too. 36 & 38. Not much experience in the directorial chair. Since they seem bent on using a young buzzing female director, they could go for Greta Gerwig. But I guess she's so busy and booked right now. Funny as she's also 38.

Many female directors have been breaking out in the past 4 years. Especially young and new entrants. It's good for Hollywood.

At the end of the day, I know they could surprise me with a really good story but young female directors tend to get a bit overbearing with their feminist messages and that's what I'm afraid of. But as always, I'll keep my fingers crossed till it finally drops.

She's only done 2 movies and a short. 1 movie was a coming-of-age comedy and the other is a psychological thriller that hasn't released yet. The reception for Don't Worry Darling would need to be massively positive to move me from terror to skeptical.
