Chibudollar:
Finally watching Red notice and it still reaffirms what I was saying earlier about the old times being more interesting, hear them talking about Nazi, Hitler'S right hand man. Cleopatra and all that. MAYBE in 200 years it's going to be about Donald Trump

This actually affirms that you don't even understand the point you're trying to make

Me wey I don prepare since....

Levels...

People should normalize not getting the hype behind a show. You don't see what's so great about it and that's ok. Move on to something you'll actually feel is great.. No be by force to like every popular show to the same extent as everyone else.

Your line of thought is rooted in either spiritism or African culture, but let me clear it for you, once a body is dead, it can’t do anything to you again

E fit reach my turn, na that night zombie apocalypse go start

kingmann:
Is this as good as arcane

Firstly, I haven't seen Arcane yet.

Then there's the issue of JoJo being over the top even by shounen anime standards. There are otaku (hardcore anime fans) that couldn't vibe with JoJo.
As always, my advice remains check out a few episodes and see if it's to your liking.

brainhack:
December is already looking so bright with JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean making its debut on 1st December.

The GOAT shounen graces our screens once more. Definitely an early Christmas present

SirDelight:
Okay,,, thanks.

When the fans reject the service

Started The Wheel of Time yesterday evening. Shit got real really fast. Definitely has my interest.

This old lady spittin' btw

When your aunt is Michelle Yeoh, you know for sure you're going to be a badass
Mama still got moves

Saving the world in sneakers has to be some kind of flex

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (2021) 7/10

Shang-Chi's story is based on the all too familiar premise of the son struggling to escape his father's shadow. It's told simply and executed nicely enough. But that's not what I came for.
Throughout the different trailers that dropped, Marvel had promised me beautiful visuals and cool looking fight choreography and, boy, did they deliver on that front.
Ta Lo looked like something straight out of a Hong Kong cinema epic chock full of Asian architecture and mythological creatures, so I was expecting that 9-tailed fox and dragon.
The stunt team delivered beautifully choreographed fights even if a couple of scenes/shots felt a bit shoddy and Michelle Yeoh's obviously still got it at almost 60.
Shang-Chi obviously isn't going to be one of the MCU's great or memorable stories but it most definitely will be one of their most aesthetically pleasing.
Really looking forward to the sequel.

zyro:
Now you've spolit it

Swears. Cos no one would've imagined that happening. I still don't even believe it.

Antoinemercer:
What's depicted in that meme really happens.

Hold up! Ruijerd actually proposes sex to Norn?

Antoinemercer:
Guy be putting spoiler warnings na, I've already read the light novel so it doesn't bother me but think of all the people who haven't read it.

That's a meme

VerifiedStalin:
"Only"

Lookee here, we got ourselves a speed reader.

Lol! I do agree it would take me 5 years or more, though, seeing as it's not the only series in my library.

pu7pl3:
I think Pat came out on top tho

Same here. I don't know if it's recency bias because we've had Corey for 5 years now, buy it just felt like Pat had some edge over Corey

VerifiedStalin:
Be warned: there are far too many books in the Wheel of Time series. Even if you begin today, you will not be able to finish them all in the next five years.

Thought they were only fifteen.

donforeign:
dem subtitle am?

No. But you can download the subtitle on the same page. Or from addic7ed dot com

pu7pl3:
you should write a piece on that

I wish I took notes.

The real battle for brand supremacy at Survivor Series for me was between Corey Graves and Pat McAfee.

lexrichy:
name please

Takt Op. Destiny

DieRich5:
I fit understand the series without watching the anime?

Yeah.

Watching the live-action Cowboy Bebop and it's been decent so far. Jon Cho and Mustafa Shakir have got the banter between Spike and Jet down. I'll give Netflix an A for effort so far. Only gripe I have is that Daniella Pineda, while projecting Faye's feistiness, doesn't really have Faye levels of sex appeal.

AnfieldFan:
I haven't watched Dune, I've avoided spoilers so far because I want to read the book first..
Wheel of Time is another issue, I think I will read the first book then watch....

Would have loved to read first too but catching up on TV shows is always more difficult for me than movies. I'll read and watch concurrently.

Chibudollar:
nahh you can't imply fight scenes it is literally impossible

You can. All you need to do is give the impression that there was a fight. No need for all that gratuitous violence.

Chibudollar:
It adds nothing if we are being honest. It could just be implied.

Same with fight scenes. It could just be implied.

Chibudollar:
Is Arcane a normal animation or anime. Please guys ?

"Normal" animation
