I have come to realise that many people cannot think deeply about the stuff they watch. This is why simple plot movies consistently outsell complex plot movies.

don't even get me started about the whole a-train dude.
dude is basically flash and all he ever did was racing in tracks. is he superhero or an athlete?
Like I said the show was carried mostly by the acting performances of Karl urban(butcher), homelander dude.....strong acting chops from the most of the cast...

The boys(butcher and co) spent a full eight episodes without confrontation against their so called enemies apart from the translucent fight which was literally the most exciting part of the show..
Don't tell me u didn't feel the tension when they captured translucent...
them not having an open confrontation for the most part is a big Plot hole imo

first three episodes of the boys was really good....thought the latter episodes were boring..
Basically nothing was concluded after eight episodes...for an eight episodes series I'm surprised how much they dragged things..

One thing I look forward to in Chinese/Korean movies is the fight. I really care less about the storyline (because I believe they hardly have one to start a fight). Shadow however, have very few fight scenes with beautiful build up story. Very enjoyable, entertaining and inspiring.

A true 8/10

You couldn't have said it better, I found the movie to be like poetry and I honestly can't remember the last time a movie scared me like this one, movies like the Exorcist and the shining were like comedy to me, but Cape Fear gripped me in fear.
