I think it's best to wait till you're fully on tier 2 before you start working full time. Just to be on the safe side

They are actually supposed to send you the COS. I don’t see why not. It is not just a series of numbers. It’s an actual document. There you would also get their sponsorship license number, see if they ticked maintenance and all what not. From my experience, it is sent. It was even from the COS we found out that we were getting 5 years contracts with the nhs trust.

Just in case it is one of these scam schemes trending, make sure you get your COS and not just a number because I know people are desperately paying for cos now.

It's actually not a document. What you were sent is probably a pdf containing screenshots of the UKVI page, that or they downloaded the page and sent as a pdf. Even on gov.uk, they said it's not a document

I would like to apply now because fund as stayed in my account for the required 28 days, if I have to transfer fund to my wife's account, that means we would have to start counting the 28days which will delay application. In my opinion, I think it's best you leave it in the primary applicant's account, to avoid stories that touch.

In the case of student visa, it's stated clearly that any account could be used and backed up by a consent letter from the owner of the account, but in this case, they didn't give any alternative to using your account. Besides, when I asked my employer about using another account for the proof of funds, she told me it had to be mine and so a transfer had to be made, and 28 days counted.

Your dependant needs a criminal record of they're above 18.

As for the email, I'm not really sure about that, but I've heard some people say they used one email for their application as a family

You can upload your documents from home. Make sure that they're all in pdf form and properly labelled and uploaded to the right section. Don't put 2 documents together in one file.

You'll have to go through the entire visa application process before you start panicking. But just in case it doesn't pop up, you can start their visa process under dependant visa using your CoS... That should link their applications to yours.

Actually the main reason I overstayed 10 days was because my employer didn't process all my work benefits on time..so I had to sort it out before leaving.

Give them exactly this reason you gave, if they ask for it.

For accommodation, there are different sites for renting a room or apartment depending on the number of persons going. If that doesn't work out on time, go get an air BnB

The amount of years you can apply for is dependent on your CoS. They're sponsoring you for 5 years so you apply for 5 years. If after 3 years you don't want to do again, get yourself a different sponsor except if you're miraculously eligible for ILR.

Upload your marriage certificate as well. It stands as a change of name document. But if all the documents that you need to submit bear the same name, then there's no need complicating your application by declaring a change of name.

NARIC is wayyyy above the $20 limit so you won't be able to pay for it with your MasterCard. You'll need a dollar card, or someone willing to pay for you while you pay the naira equivalent or use Barter.

That depends on your status at the moment. Are you on a student's visa, dependant visa or any visa that gives you right to work? If no, select no.

If you're from outside the UK, you don't have right to work if you don't have the right visa
