I think Abuja is easy to get dates for interview ooo my friend just booked now and got 20th September
If they accept the walk in option, then it's the best bet for now. Do you know if walk in in welcomed there?

I was going to tell about V.I . Nothing has happened since 3am. Though i tried up till 11pm before signing out and someone was able to book a date very early today too. We are still on it. Everywhere just tight, plus the 90days refund is demoralising.

Hello all, kudos to everyone working selflessly for the progress of the group. I am a little cast down and almost pessimistic about commencing my program in September. My school Staffordshire Staffordshire uni is quite slow in responding to mails and also confirming application process, at least from what i have experienced. It's almost 2 weeks since i made tuition deposit with no confirmation, talk less of processing CAS. Course start date is sept 7th and i am yet to make a head way. embarassed embarassed

Yes usually, but can still take a day or two.
Mine is a week plus now. It depends on how efficient the management work. You can try sending them an email with your swift message if you paid directly into the school's account.

Thanks to all friends that have provided answers to any of my queries. I am becoming more confident in this process. @STENON can we please talk through PM? I just got an offer for pgce secondary mathematics from Staffordshire university and will like to get adequate info on ways of maximizing my time and the programme. I still need more guidance on the admission process too.

It is a pity that our education standard has fallen to the highest level.

Imagine, H.O.D needs to see a sample before drafting common reference letter to an institution for masters program. Half baked lecturers everywhere... How did he get there ? Who has done this to us?

Your comment is uncalled for. You could have just ignored it if you have nothing good to say. This isn't a platform to discuss Nigeria's failure. I therefore advise you to not digress from the purpose of this forum.
If you have a sample reference give him if not, MIND THE BUSINESS THAT PAYS YOU.

Hello house,
I need candid advice. I recently got a request for interview from Staffordshire university but has to be in physical. I don't see a possibility in going to the UK for admission interview considering the cost implications. Can anyone give me advice on how to seek a skype interview please

Na waa.oooo. can we all please try to be a little more tolerant and overlook some exuberance?. Let's not create chaos that is capable of derailing the aim of this forum.
One thing i want us to try to imbibe is the habit of being silent in the absence of good parlance abeg.
Thank you all as you take heed.

Cheers! grin

I wish someone can help me talk sense to mine self.. It is easier when you are both on the same page to give each other moral support allowing one person to go through all this is not easy o because you will want him to play his part for ECA, IELTS etc.
My sis, please be your own motivator. I will forever preach the gospel of Take Charge Of Your Future. I was in this train sometimes in March with CRS of 449 spouse inclusive but without ECA, but 461 spouse accompanying. I watched CRS drop to 450 but never went below that. Despite my husband's not interested in living abroad, he wanted to do soft landing and return a month after relocation which to me is as good as not going. Right in my sight, CRS rose to 470 and didn't plummet as thought till i was a year older and lost 5points. But guess what now, he is super interested as naija don refuse to get better. But then water don pass garri, i have don ielts tire. I started struggling with writing after then and no way to increase CRS. So my dear please YANK HIM OFF. Everything will settle when you get PPR. May God be with you and your children, their future is most paramount to the world.

Hello all,

My IELTS came up to L,R,W,S - 8.5,9,7,8.5. Overall Band score 8.5
I’m losing 3 points due to a 7 in reading.
Do you think I should apply for a remark for the reading and hopefully get an extra 0.5 to get the extra 3 points to reach 459. Has anyone ordered a remark, and how likely am I to get an increase.

Thanks
You only get extra 3 points if it changes to 8. 8-9 is d max for reading

Hi everyone. I'm a corp member serving in lagos. I got an offer from Corona and St Savior's ebute meta.looking at the pay yet but in terms of future and possibly to get retained after my service year. Thank you.
Kindly consider Corona, although both schools are good, St Saviour is a typical Nigerian Curriculum school with no secondary school but Corona has from elementary to college of education. If you work well and impress them, you can get trained and move up the ladder as you desire. My opinion

Hello everyone, I got an invite from Nigerian Tulip International College. Also, I'm going from Ojuelegbe any info on d easiest way to get dere? Tnx.
You got a lucky dip here, depending on the subject you put in for, you are most likely get IQ related questions, then deliver a sample lesson. You should give it your best shot, the school is one of its kind when it comes to staff welfare. Goodluck

It is an international school and pays well too, depending on what you have to offer. Prepare to write an IQ test hopefully, then you will have micro teaching too. Best of luck. What subject did you apply to teach?
