On the bright side, it is needed to push through. We some times need this kind of negativity which may not even be to some. Calm down, life is good

Honestly I feel very weak.

Entered the pool with 450 since May1. Missed the 450 draw on the day due to the tie-breaker rule and draws have been over the roof since then.

Sorry guy, find a way to boost your score. I was in d pool with 461 before june 12, birthday july 1st dropped to 456 10th of july crs was 460. Wetin man pikin wan do ? Keep pushing through of course, on my 3rd ielts

I just did this CRS stuff, with my partner is below 400 but alone is 466.

Please is it advisable to start or apply alone and add my husband along the line since I am the alone grin grin
Start the process alone, you will file for him when u get ur pr. Mind you/him , he still has to write ielts. Whatever u have to do please do it fast. I am bearing the burns of waiting on my husband's decision right now, to think it's irreversible now that he has agreed to it. Best of luck

Chai, been a few days away.

Congrats to all IELTS smashers, ITA grabbers, Completed ECAs. Every other new level achieved.

Just wanted to address some few things, as i get a lot of calls. I am not a waec staff, I just have tiny mosquito leg inside.

WAEC had a backlog due to exams. The whole of May applications were barely touched just the few lucky ones.

Please, what hope does someone with 1989 waec do, is the process same speed as post 2000s?

With IDP? 46k plus for 2 marks. Chai! what if it comes out negative.
450 is cool biko
After a few draws, they will be fine joor.
When you want something, go for it with full force. Dont end up like me. I waited with 449 since february, till June. Just when i decided to shoot my shot, crs jumped to 470 , thinking i could have 461 if unaccompanied, including, ielts shocked me with my first ever 6.5 in writing n max point for d other 3 tests. Please do whatever you have to, for you point to increase. God be with you

Here is to share my IELTS testimony and thank some of the special people who assisted me...
The June 1st MOD test was my eight attempt, having done four PBT and three CBT with BC. My issue was always writing which never changed from 6.5 all through.
I contacted @wasseynest, @fidelism and @johnnybravo to assist in writing..... These are all excellent people and I am indebted to them all. I was able to merge all their teachings with the grace of God to get the following scores L8, R9, W7.5, S8
Sitting on 453 now and praying for scores to reduce...
Hello, can u please share the writing material with me on [b]dammymesi@yahoo.com. I have never had a problem with writing until my last attempt which wad mean to ace my points. Guess what ? LSRW 8.5, 7.5, 8.5, 6.5. I was sad to think i was waiting to be on a 467 unaccompanied or 455 accompanied. I have a feeling the examiner doesn't like jayz's style of agree or disagree. Not relenting @ my 3rd attempt, going on the 4th, cos i never know when EOR will be released judging people's comment here.

My people ur advice will be highly appreciated. My spouse IELTS results came out this morning as LRWS 8,8,7,6.5. This is putting my CRS as the PA on 450. If she had a 7 in speaking, my CRS would have been 452. Considering the scarcity and importance of 2points these days, do we ask for a remark or just hope some day we will clinch ITA with the 450? Pls note that she wrote with IDP. Thanks

Just request a remark. I don't want to believe anyone should have lower than a 7 in speaking. Except of course an illiterate which i know he isn't judging from other results. Our Naija own self too much, i watch band 8 speaking videos from other countries and i always end up with same statement" is this all you have to say for an 8?". Come ti my dearest naija, u will have a 7. Same thing i also think for writing. Sis, please request remark, that's the best. Best of luck though.

Hello fellow Nairalanders, i really need clarifications on how to update my profile to spouse unaccompanied. I actually am on Crs of 449 with spouse but 461 without spouse. I changed the spouse accompanying answer of my profile to NO but no change in crs score. Although my spouse's info has disappeared, just my profile appearing. But the first page still shows transferable points from spouse.
Long and short, what have i done wrong? I hope i won't have to withdraw my current profile to start again? I have February profile creation date.
I NEED ANSWERS PLSSSSSS

[quote author=etrange post=78838368]A lot of people here worked hard and got up to 450 to 460 crs. They were already certain they'd get ITA. I know cause I saw them congratulating each other in advance. However, fate had a different plan entirely. I can imagine how they feel now. Especially those who have exhausted all their means of increasing their crs and those who are doing one certification or another to get up to 460. How long will the new trend last? Will it keep going up? Will it come down? So much uncertainties.

I beseech you all not to feel defeated. Do not lose hope. What goes up must come down. This twist of fate will only serve to make your PPR script even more interesting. Hang in there. If your prayers don't make it

This is all i need right now

Be also there to advise her when her marriage ends in divorce o. Let’s call a spade a spade. Abeg, forget that, ‘you can survive in Canada as a single mother’. She may go ahead with the Express Entry process for now, but finally, going to Canada without her husband’s approval and company is simply asking for a divorce. Who in Canada will want to marry a single mother with 3 kids when their father is still alive? Loneliness is real o! There is a kind of loneliness that your kids cannot solve, and that only a partner can quench. So it is a simple but difficult choice — Canada/divorce or continued marriage/love. You must point this to her when you advice: ‘so when your PR comes, will you want to risk your marriage because of Canada if your husband still refuses to agree to only you going?’

Even though I am also in the race to land in Canada, I will always reiterate that Canada is not everything; everything in this life is vanity. In some situations, one needs to weigh their options properly before they decide any action, and they need to be prepared to face the consequences.

She may be lucky y know. Did u know" LUCK SIMPLY MEANS OPPORTUNITY MEETS WITH PREPAREDNESS " .Let her prepare, luck may shine on her

You can receive ur TRF by proxy. Simply write a letter of authorisation, n ur international be taken to d office by the bearer, who also needs an id. You can then request it be scanned to u. Better still opt for delivery by courier

Just saw my ielts result. I am very sad. Had lswr 6.5, 7,7,7. This is my last chance. What can I do? Can I be accepted into the pool? Can I go the route of provincial nomination? Can I ask for a remark?

Who says it's your last chance? Did you read the ppr script of a lady who wrote ielts 8 times before getting the maximum score. Don't give up yet, the last chance is after you have got your desired band. As par the money, God will provide. It is too early to quit!!!

Good morning friends, please I want to embark on this journey of express entry. But I have a lil problem. My hubby doesn't want to go with us but he says he's gonna support me and d kids that I should go ahead. My question is 'will I be considered even after the whole process'? Also, like how much will be considered satisfactory for me and d kids upkeep when I eventually get my PPR

My husband said the same, but we are in it together now. He is even taking it more than i presumed.
Firstly calculate your crs score with the required ielts score with you as the PA as married accompanying spouse and with unaccompanying spouse. Compare the points. You should be looking at 450 min for now.
Either ways, he will be involved in the process. It might not be so easy catering for the kids all alone in canada except u have relatives who could help. There will be restrictions to the job you can do which will translate to ur income. If hubby is up to the task, u could be looking at 500k every month. My candid advice is, start the process with him, when we get to the bridge, we'll definitely cross it.

Personally, I would suggest that you should be calm and see what happens in the next two to three draws. 449 is a good score that will fetch you ITA anytime soon as you can see there a steady drop in cutoff scores. It can be scary though but be hopeful
Thanks so much for the advice.

Expect questions from undergrad courses. The questions will come from diff areas in ur field or area of specialisation. So if I were u, I'll go dust my old note. Exactly what I did n passed 2012 statistics, though I had my undergrad there.
