Good morning, Nairalanders |
Somebody pls help me |
Good morning y'all Still hoping to hear from you |
@chelseabmw I don't want bank loan because of all their hidden charges. @oyibomoses, I said "I'm fully committed to repay back within 9 months (subject to the cost of the car and agreed rate)." How would I buy a car on such payment plan and not want you to gain from it? I am an Accountant and I fully understand the time value of money coupled with inflationary factors. Please let's discuss further if you have something for me. I'm sure that we can work something out on a win-win situation. Thanks |
@chelseabmw Of a necessity, I need a car to move around and also y fami I want either a "96 or "99 Camry but I don't have the money in bulk at the moment. So I'm looking for a dealer whom we could reach an agreement on a flexible (monthly) payment until the car is fully paid for and original papers given to me. I'm willing to provide credible guarantors if need be to further back up my credibility and credit worthiness. Thanks |
@chelseabmw, thank u for at least posting something here. For a moment I thot that I av mistakenly posted this on health forum. Somebody pls talk to me... |
Hello people... |
I would like to get a car on hire purchase from any dealer who could be willing to do such for me. I am looking at getting either a '99 or '96 Toyota Camry, my budget is N900k. This is the deal: Such dealer would give out the vehicle with a certain percentage as mark-up on the cost of the car (say 10%) and I'm willing to be paying N100k every month till the whole amount is fully liquidated. The dealer will be in custody of the vehicle papers and has the right to repossess the car if there is any default or breach of agreement. It is my duty to ensure that the vehicle is well-maintained at all times and the conditon of the vehicle will be presentable. I work with a reputable company and as such repayment won't be an issue because of regulay payment of salary. I'm fully committed to repay back within 9 months (subject to the cost of the car and agreed rate). Please I know that some finance houses and banks do these but we all know that their rates are cut-throat which I don't intend to put my neck into. Any dealer who would like to do this transaction with me can reach me on 08033944018 or email heritageplus2000@yahoo.com I look forward to hear from you soonest. Cheers |
Is APGA still existing? I only know two parties in Nigeria; PDP and APC... |
Honestly I'm always surprised when I hear the word 'discrimination' between BSc & HND. I graduated with a HND in Accountancy from MAPOLY in 2001 and I am a Chartered Accountant. I have attended a lot of interviews and worked in some great companies both local & multinationals. There has never been any instance at which anybody discriminate against my certificate because I know my onions and as of this moment I have developed the habit of selecting interviews and turning a lot down. Moreover, I have a lot of appointment letters in my house from companies which I don't feel like working with (for one reason or the other) What I am saying in essence is that your certificate (HND, BSc, MSc, PHD etc) could only get you an interview, your success at the interview us a combination of your ability as well as favor & luck from God. Also, within the office environment, you have to dustinguish yourself as an exemplary employee to your employers and you will be surprised that no one will be concerned about your book knowledge but rather the value you can add to the business entity. Some companies do not even ask for your credentials afterall (whether its real, Oluwole or Toronto) It all depends on how diligent, hardworking and professional you are. In conclusion, let no HND holder feel inferior and let no BSc holder feel superior. You have to pass through school and allow the school pass through you. I rest my case! |
@tzetzefly and other gurus in the house... This is my issue. I applied for a US visa in 2005 & also scheduled an appointment for the interview. However, due to some work contingencies, I could not go for the interview. Now I am currently applying for a Visitors' Visa to the US for my annual vacation in October. Do I need to mention in my present application that I have applied before despite that I did not go for an interview? I am married with 4 kids with a monthly salary of about N400k, working with the company since 2004. What are my chances of securing the visa (I'm traveling alone now but intends to go with my family next year summer) This will be my first time of traveling abroad. Thanks for your responses |
Na wa ooooo. After all the strike sufferings! So Naija policemen don advance to that level whereby they could catch a criminal using 'blood stains'? |
homeboy205: Sorry bro, better luck next time heheheheheheheIn the spirit of the season, I forgive you. Go and sin (be the first to comment before me) no more.... |
Nice one... @Homeboy205, u dey craze ![]() |
@Alex, I'm happy that there is a solution to the issue afterall. Thank God. However, I'd like to clarify that I never intended to label you as a scammer. I was put on enquiry due to the communication gap between you and I. I spoke with the VIO official on Sunday (he actually beeped me and I called him) and he told me that you sent him N100 credit for him to call his boss. On Monday, I called to follow up on the matter and to know if the guy is responding well or if there's need for us to try another source but u didn't pick my call and never called me back. Going through all the comments and knowing the length to which some people could go to defraud innocent people, I had to caution all concerned to be careful of how they react to some distress calls. To this end, I hereby tender my unreserved apology to you and everyone who might have been misled by my comment on this matter. Once more, I join you in thanking God for His mercy towards you on the resolution to the issue. I await the 'washing' like you mentioned earlier on. Cheers |
olorunosebi:I can't agree less with u, bro... I spoke to d VIO official who happens to be my friend and he's ready to help Alex but d officer said dat d last thing he heard from Alex was dat he (Alex) wld go to source for money to get d car released. Yet d same Alex is claiming dat it has been a while since he heard from d officer! Pls anyone who is thinking of contributing money to get d car released or whoever is thinking of buying d car shd be extremely careful cos I'm of d mind dat something is not right abt d story at all!!!!!!! |
Alex72: @kayralph, thanks for your effort. I have spoken with the man and he promised to link me up to some senior officer who can intervene on on behalf, but for days now, I have not heard from him. I remain optimistic though.@Alex, I spoke to d guy on Sunday to know what has happened so far and I called ur line to know from ur own side too but u didn't pick my call. I sincerely feel for u and really want u out of this situation but u r not helping matters by not carrying me along. However, I'd talk to d guy today and also reach out to some other people. U can see people's comment abt ur plight, some people on this forum are just out to make a fun out of ur misfortune.... |

Alex72: The VIO office is Mushin zone. Any help is appreciated. That's a lot.Call me on 08033944018. I don't want to give out the officer's name on this forum. He works at the Ikorodu zone of VIO but I'm sure he cld be of help. I'll give u his details when u call. Cheers |

Thieves in northern Italy broke into a prison and made off with a safe containing thousands of euros in the early hours of Wednesday, Italian media reported. The audacious theft occurred shortly after midnight when the robbers eluded surveillance systems and entered the director's office at the prison in Pavia, near Milan, daily Corriere della Sera said. The safe, which was removed whole from the wall and spirited away, contained approximately 5,000 euros ($6,700). Police are investigating the incident. I'm surprised that Minister for Petroleum, Allyson Maduekwe, is not affected....smh for Nigeria and Nigerians.... |
The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has removed Yinka Gbadebo as its leader, replacing him with its Vice-President, Jubril Ahmed. In a statement, NANS Senate President Emaluyi Sunday Michael said Gbadebo was impeached at a meeting of stakeholders on September 7 under Section 49(1) of the constitution. That provision states: “The president can be impeached on the grounds of incompetence or as therefore by his attitude or action which can be classified/regarded as misconduct”. It accused Gbadebo of inability to serve the primary purpose of NANSto protect the general interest of all Nigerian students both at home and in Diaspora, “before the institutions, government, parastatals, stakeholders and even other countries policies.” The statement cited the current impasse between the federal government and university teachers which has seen Nigerian students sitting at home for 65 days, saying Gbadebo was found wanting in the challenge of bringing both parties together. “Rather he is aligning with a particular party and indulging in “Ghana-must-Go protest,” the statement said, adding that the “dilapidated and maggoty condition of Nigerian universities is of no concern to Ayefele.” PRESS RELEASE ON THE PASSAGE OF VOTE OF NO CONFIDENCE ON COMRADE YINKA GBADEBO a.k.a AYEFELE BY THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIAN STUDENTS SENATE ARM Held on 7th of September, 2013 at Wellington Conference Hall, D.S.C Express Road,Effurun Delta State; at 10:00am prompt. Distinguished senators, stakeholders, senior cadres, National comrades, invited NGOs, congress-men, contemporaries, Nigeria students present, gentlemen and ladies of the press, Greatest Nigeria Students. The primary reason for the formation of National Association of Nigeria Students (NANS) some decades ago was for the purpose of Nigeria students’ welfarism, protecting the general interest of all Nigerian students both at home and in Diaspora, before the institutions, government, parastatals, stakeholders and even other countries policies. This has however been cut – off, abandoned, rejected and marginalized by the “Australopithecus” Gbadebo led administration. The Nigerian educational system especially that of the tertiary institution has witnessed topsy – turvy because of its hydra headed and centrally maggoty state, and the Comrade Yinka Gbadebo “barren” cabinet has done less than little in its revival. It is pitiable at this juncture to state that the Ayefele regime has done more harm than good to the Nigerian Students as he does not know his duty as the numero uno Nigerian student, controlling over seventy (70) million Nigerian students at home and in diaspora. Sadly, Nigeria students have been deprive of their fundamental right to higher education for sixty- five (65) days by intentionally remanding them in their various homes over the quagmire between ASSU and the federal government, yet the NANS president has been found wanting in his inability to bring both parties on the same page. Rather he is aligning with a particular party and indulging in “Ghana-must-Go protest”. It is therefore obvious that the dilapidated and maggoty condition of Nigerian universities is of no concern to Ayefele. Moreso, we have lost Nigerian students in recent insurgent attacks in the northern part of the country and the NANS president had paid deaf ears to the calamity Nigerian students are undergoing during this trial period. However, consequent to the constitution of the National Association of Nigeria Students’ national body, the provision of section 49 pointedly provides for the grounds on which the NANS president can be removed from office or impeached. The aforementioned section 49(1) states that: “The president can be impeached on the grounds of incompetence or as therefore by his attitude or action which can be classified/regarded as misconduct”. It is in this regard that I, comrade Emaluyi Sunday Michael, the Senate President of National Association of Nigerian Students; in the interest of Nigerian students and for the purpose of their adequate welfarism hereby subject to the “consensus addendum” reached in the Senate congress meeting earlier this week by Senate leaders: Babale P. Bala, Deputy Senate – President; Sen. Joseph J. Olatunde, Clerk; and other distinguished Senators namely Sen. Morphy Moch, Sen. Comrade Ojamomi Fashola A, Sen. Pam Ayuba, Sen. Daniel Sunday, sen. Emeka Jonathan, Sen. Abdulfatah Sule, Sen. Kehinde Ilori, Sen. Jimoh Raheem. Others include Sen. Mathew Earnet, Sen. Elumelu Tony, Sen. Patrick Nkechi, Sen. Donald Michael, Sen. Taye Sarumi, Sen. Bolaji Akande, Sen. Arome Abu and 94 other senators present, hitherto passed a “Vote of no confidence” on the NANS president Comrade Yinka Gbadebo a.k.a Ayefele on the grounds of incompetence, gross misconduct, sabotage, abuse of office, selfish alliance and also using NANS presidential office as a window of ventilation for the purpose of personal aggrandizement. This decision takes effect from this day 7th of September, 2013 The doctrine of necessity therefore applies as the Vice – President Comrade Jubril Ahmed takes charge of the Presidential Office. Conclusively, the new Vice – President shall be sworn in on the 11th of September, 2013, venue to be communicated on air. We also use this medium to call on the FG and ASUU to reach a compromise at the fastest possible means as students who have unnecessarily stayed at home are threatening to embark on actions that may cause nationwide unrest, corrosive aluta awakening and edu – sociological jihad. Aluta Continua, Victoria Acerta. Thank you all, God bless you, God bless Nigerian students, God bless Federal republic of Nigeria Source:http://saharareporters.com/news-page/nans-leader-yinka-gbadebo-impeached-jubril-ahmed-assumes-control |
