tsiriman:Sir, this is not underpayment and i can assure u won't have any issues with custom anywhere, at the moment i dnt have the valuation for 2016 honda accord so what i gave u is for Toyota corolla 2017 that i have and am very sure ur bill cannot be more than that. Toyota and Honda are under the same categories in clearing while BMW and Mercedes Benz are also under same categories, what this means is that the price i gave u can clear ur car without issues even though its a Toyota price. The CIF Value from my receipt here is $7,888 at an exchange rate of N361/USD Please NOTE that the exchange rate is now N381/USD |

isthatso:After converting the value from USD to Naira, we have to bring it down to 35% of that value to give us the actual surface duty, then we multiply by 1.38, this covers for surcharges, vat and ECOWAS charges etc, that now gives us the total duty payable. 1 Like |

No sir, all those customs on the road are only out to harass people just to extort money from them, once the deputy controller of customs has approved a payment for u and u pay, clear and got ur car released, anybody acting otherwise on the street is only out to extort u and u need to be able to stand ur ground, u can ask them to contact their oga, the name, rank and service ID of the DSC that approved ur payment is in the valuation invoice with u. Please make sure u dnt handover original copies of ur documents to them, so u just have to know and stand ur ground, last last they will collect money for "Officer on Duty" which is what they always do even is u pay normal duty or compromised duty. And finally, the price is Ok from my calculation except if there is an interim changes in the course of the clearing. |

amliftedhigher:Once a car value has been compromised, the agent also needs to block alert which also cost some money, by so doing custom cannot impound such vehicle. NOTE: All agents does compromise, otherwise u won't patronise them cos of high cost of clearing. |

museveni:2014 Lexus rx350 - This car should be up to $5,000, though am not certain yet. 2009 Toyota RAV4 - this should be around $2300 2004 Toyota Tacoma 2008 Toyota Camry. A maximum $2,000 should be Ok for each of the 2 cars above.
