Their are Clearing Agents and their are courier companies. Clearing agents deals with customs and hand over your goods to you or your representatives which are the Nipost, Speedaf, DHL etc. Customs has handed to the local delivery(Clearing Agents) and they are now on strike so they've not handed over to DHL, Speedaf or NIPOST. I hope you understood.

Yes, you are! Whether Nipost or Speedaf, orders arriving the country must pass through customs, and yours falls into that category.

but it says in the tracking that, it has been handed over to delivery company, i want to know how the strike affects my parcel, i believe the delivery company is nipost and my parcel has already been cleared before handed over to delivery company

please am i also at the mercy of the on going strike?
it has been with local delivery company for too long, the parcel is handled by nipost with RB............SG tracking number

UPDATE: Nipost just called me this afternoon to come for my package. It was given to me along with another package I ordered about 3 months ago which I've already forgotten about it.

you're very lucky.
mine has been with local delivery company since 18 April no call or message to come for my parcel
but i have hope sha, since others are getting Thier order from nipost, I'll get mine too

I do stay in Onitsha, there are different post offices here, the one closest to my address nothing dy there, dem don convert the place to pure water selling arena, na how to know which one to go for be the problem

Finally I received all my order from NIPOST today in Enugu state, Nsukka precisely. Even the expected delivery date is still ahead to 17th May 2023 and they called me today which I received 2 android Redmi phones and other packages. Nigeria go still better. Am so happy today.

That's very bad of her, how did you even manage to get her number since most of their lines displayed on site are mostly switched off, like you said maybe na Lagos guys dy get their NIPOST packages fast & been called too, i expect Anambra State to be fast too cos its a well known business zone among other places too

i got her number from someone that was called to come and get his parcel.

lagos residents gets thier parcel faster because that's where it gets to first before distribution to other states commence

i don't know why it takes 2 to 4 weeks to get to other parts, i wonder if they are using bicycle to distribute

lagos residents are very lucky with nipost compared to other states
i tried calling someone from nipost close to my location, she picked, i asked about my parcel, she ended the call and ever since then she has refused to pick my call, i tried the number this evening it's switched off.
I would have gone there myself but I don't want to waste transport there and come back without getting my parcel, that's why i called to be sure if my parcel have arrived thier office before going there.

this is not fair to buyers, if it was to be a buyer, you'll be the one to pay for custom tax, but sellers wants buyers to pay for custom tax when returning an item, this is why i prefer partial refund

33 dollars is the actual cost of the item. They put low prices for some high end items to get enough traffic. That is the trick..

some sellers can be really funny, are they not supposed to be focused on how to sell instead of looking for traffic, who would buy an item of 3dollar with 30 dollar shipping?

I know nobody in NIPOST, i'm highly positive my package will reach me, one guy here posted about his package which has been on transit just like mine & we ordered thesame day from thesame store but different packages (Anker) on 22nd March, same RB****SG codes for our packages, i believe it might have been shipped on same container sha, his has arrived & was delivered to him in Lagos around 12th April while on Aliexpress it is still showing 'on transit' update, i guess mine haven't gotten to me because i'm in another state, i'm hopeful that on/before first week of May, i'll receive it, I'm highly optimistic about it

What do you think?

Which of their(NIPOST) office numbers did you call that gave you a response, all the customer care line on their official website no dy go through

a friend gave me the number of someone working at the post office.

My order with tracking number RB********SG has been like for almost 1 Month now, No calls or mail from NIPOST, is it normal or should i wait further?

PS: I traveled for now but briefly from my main address area used on Aliexpress butcan travel back immediately to collect a package if its available, its not too far, I've written NIPOST on their official email with tracking number to make enquiries but no reply since, i reaaly need the package urgently

Anyway to know if the package is with Post office near me before traveling back & forth?

Incase of next time, can one ask seller if item can be shipped through SpeedAF in particular (even at extra cost) even if the only default shipping method is Aliexpress Selection Standard only, all my orders so far has always been SpeedAF & i thought that's how Aliexpress every order is till i entered this thread, i'm new to Aliexpress though, but now i know a bit better than b4, still learning more by the day sha

simce you're far from where you used as delivery address, I'll advise you to send someone to the post office to help you inquire about your parcel. it should have reached your post office by now

I received a “Delivery Failed” notification in the tracking, that usually means it is at the post office.. That was when they called me..

But if your parcel is at the post office they will probably call you, or if you are impatient you could just stroll to the post office close to you and enquire about your item...

I thought as much, people in lagos gets thier parcel faster

i called them 2days ago they told me it's not with them yet that i should wait till the sallah holidays to be over on Tuesday, then i can come to check if it has arrived

Two remaining that weren't be combined was sent to the PO.. Received a call from the PO today that it arrived yesterday... So till Tuesday after the public holiday before I can pickup 😔

speedaf do normaly show when your parcel is with customs but it's not like that with signpost

click on the item you want to buy then locate specification and click on it would show where the item is shipping from, the screen would explain better
or you can ask the seller where he is shipping from if you're the patient type

If all your orders have been from sellers in Mainland China please start buying from sellers solely based in Hong Kong and drop feedbacks.

even orders from mainland china is not always handled by speedaf, my mainland order with aliexpress standard shipping was shipped with Singapore post(SG)

I don't know what's happening there. I went there around 2nd week of march and was told that items have not arrived Uyo post office since the ending of Jan 2023.
One person there said it was due to cash crunch issue.

My item has been cleared by customs based on tracking online, since Feb 13, 2023. But up till now it has not arrived.

Is anyone experiencing this at other branches?

SG is Singapore.... Don't worry u ll receive your phone...Most phones re delivered by NIPOST except when dey get greedy
