i can't switch between 4g, 3g, and 2g on my Gionee s10L and my MTN 4g sim doesn't show 4g when i insert it into my Gionee s10L, but when i insert airtel sim it always shows 4g what could be wrong, i am regretting why i bought this phone already.

Click on preferred network, u will see it there.... 4g is only for sim 1 but u can switch either 3g or 2g on sim 2

and talking about 4g being available only on sim 1, i actually can use 4g on both sim slots it's just that i can't choose if i between 4g 3g and 2g, it's on automatic

i just got a Gionee s10L after my phone got damaged, everything seems to be doing great unti i figured there was no option in the phone settings that allows me to switch between 2g,3g and 4g network, the phone network seems to be on automatic, I've searched all settings option but i can't find where i can switch to my preferred network

if you have used a Gionee s10L before or you're currently using one please help a brother

it could if glo's band 3 is available in your area; try inserting a glo sim and see. That Gionee phone is a Chinese variant hence the problem u're encountering now. Most Chinese variant of phones mainly support band 1and 3 while some support up to band 7

It could be it phone doesn't support the MTN 4g band band 7 & 20 and only supports Airtel band which is band 3; try inserting an Etisalat SIM to see if it brings up 4g, if it does, then the above is the case

wow really?, do you think it'll support glo 4g band?
i neva knew about this, I'll have just go for another phone instead of this, though the phone is ok aside the 4g issue.

hello everyone, i need your help on this, i just got a Gionee s10L after my phone got spoilt, but i noticed that it doesn't have 4g network for mtn Sim but it has 4g when i use airtel, I've tried all the settings i know but it's just the same thing.
I've also tried to change the mtn sim from sim 1 to sim 2 thinking it has a Sim slot dedicated for only 4g but it still shows 3g, i tried two different mtn sim but it just keep showing 3g, sometimes it even brings up edge network, it's so annoying
why does it show 4g on airtel sim but shows 3g on mtn sim, even though it's 4g sim, please i need your help on this

My question is this, should an issue arise with Customs, say and speedaf is even the shipper, will speedaf now calle to go and face Customs of there is an issue?

well I personally haven't seen anyone having issues with custom if it's speeds that's handling the parcel, but if it comes to paying custom duty on an item, speedaf will provide an invoice for you to pay

you can actually request for a partial refund without returning the item, just choose "quality issues" as your reason and provide evidence of poor quality of the product.

every AliExpress standard shipping you see is not always speedaf, it depends on the location of the seller, if the seller stays in mainland China then it's sure to be handled by speedaf(speaking from personal experience), but if it's Hongkong then that's signpost or any other courier(reason is because speedaf don't have presence in Hongkong yet)
to know the sellers location chat him up and ask him if he's shipping from mainland China or Hongkong.
but either ways, your parcel will still pass through customs, so there's no way you're evading the customs charges, the only way is to ask seller to declare it as something less than it's worth, like gift item phone case, mp3, radio etc

Nigerian sellers sell bad screens. I bought two screens within the space of 1 month at 37k each.

I can attest to this, I bought my phone screen from AliExpress and till now it's still in good shape, though not all AliExpress sellers sells good screen, someone have complain here about a faulty screen he bought on AliExpress, this thing is just luck

if the tracking number starts with NG and end's with R it's a registered parcel (eligible for home delivery)
but when it starts with NG and end's with O or E it's unregistered (self pickup)
this is only for parcel handled by speedaf and nipost, dunno about SingPost dough

If an item arrive late or so! In a sane country you wil get your refund and the item will be returned back to the seller due to logistics error. But here in Nigeria people like you will always try to claim smart just because poverty and stealing runs in your family
You contact the seller and returned back the money because the problem isn't from the seller but rather from our useless nipost office in which they will hold your package for a long time

lol I guess you can't prove a point without hurling insults, now calling me and my family a thief without actually having anything to prove it is very wrong, just so you know, I've never received a full refund for any parcel I received on aliexpress the only refund I get is partial refund of items that turned out to be faulty,of low quality or not as described ,I only came here to air my own view according to my experience with most sellers on the AliExpress platform, since this is what the thread was created for.

It all depends on the individual, people will receive the item and lock up....it is what it is.

this simply means you can get a refund if your item arrives late please take note of the word "late" you might need a dictionary.
I told you to read and comprehend but I guess you're too lazy, if it's the seller you're worried about, AliExpress would pay the seller and also refund the buyer, that's the work of insurance, this way both buyer and seller are not at loss.

honestly I don't actually get your point here, but I just want people to know that collecting a package and a refund for an item that has exceeded the 75days buyer protection, is not actually a bad thing it's just like a guarantee. AliExpress would cover any loss with insurance

means Speedaf now has a reliable outlet in your location, no more NIPOST wahala. Unregistered items don’t necessarily go to NIPOST, Speedaf only does NIPOST, if they don’t have an office close to your location. Your package ending with E, is a self pickup package though, you’ll go pick it yourself from their office.

I don't entirely agree with your point, one of my parcel was sent to nipost even when speedaf office is not too far from where I stay

it'll really make sense if speedaf keep this up, this particular parcel actually arrived Nigeria 10 days after I ordered it, making it the fastest package I've ordered so far on AliExpress, but it still kinda baffles me how an unregistered parcel arrived before a registered one, I guess one can never know it all when it comes to logistics.

my unregistered parcel ending with E is going directly to speedaf office instead of nipost, my last unregistered parcel was delivered through nipost but this one is kinda confusing or could it be that they mistakenly added it with registered parcel, or its the new update?
this is really looking good for me though
