Hello. ABH will give you a document called mietbescheinigung that you will give your landlord to fill and sign. In the document, a place where your landlord will state the size of the apartment will be provided. thats what ABH will use with your house contract.

I know someone that sent DB confirmation to embassy and alien office during summer intake. Have heard of someone that even called them to know why his application was taking eternity to be processed. If your enrolment is around the corner, biko call them but diligently converse with them.

Ok, the minimum passing grade u will use to convert to German grade should be 1.00. Though I stand to be corrected house...

Your 2.7 is CGPA and not a G.P, 1.00 is a minimum CGPA point to graduate and not a G.P to pass a course(a subject).

So I believe your german grade should be 2.3.

Here is d breakdown of our grades A=4, B=3.2, C=2.4 n D=1.6 and The minimum grade in Kwasu is a D and dat D sef starts frm 45, hope this differs from the minimum Gp required maybe sumfin smaller Dan 1.6 cos I realize that many pple are using 1 as d minimum gp in a 5pts based school, is our 1.6 likened to mst people's 1? sorry ds might luk foolish, but no bashing please, lol

Please break your cgpa class down here. From fail to 1st class. Maybe you are making a mistake somewhere.

Thanks 4 ds quick response, bt I feel it is quite unfortunate as d result gave me 2.6 on a German scale. So ds implies dat every student with a school operating on a 4 point scale has to do d double of wat his colleagues would in oda schools, I mean dose using 5.0. Cos according to my findings I found out dat 2.8/4 (70%) is similar to 3.5/5 (70%). These two are 2 1 ryt bt dont be surprise dat ds will bring out two contrasting results favourable to d latter on a German scale. I still remain hopeful sha cos I blv 2.7 ranks well above 3.0

I Understand your point brother. It's not basically the issue of 2.8/4.0 or 3.5/5.0... it's the minimum passing grade whichis 1.6 if 2.8 is a strong 2:1 and the difference between passing grade and strong 2:1 is 1.2 (between this point there is third class,2:2 and weak 2:1). Surely there would be issue converting it to another grade. Your 2.8/4.0 is not equal to 3.5/5.0 cos u both have diff passing grade. And max point...

Don't be discouraged about your german grade brother. If you are just planning to apply, make sure u pack ur CV with field experience if it's engineering course (even if u will do it for token), if it's not engineering, just spice your CV up. Prepare well for IELTS and get a good grade from it(Minimum:7.0) and find two reputable profs to write ur recommendation letter for u. Remember ur own motivation letter must also be catchy.

If you're talking abt if it's necessary to certify it @ the embassy, Yes you must certify it. It's only going to be confidential if your school is sending it straight to the university or company. Once you have with you as a copy, it is believed anything can be manipulated. Guess one of the reasons WAEC scratch card is among the checklist for visa interview.

I don't know about your school but what I did was I applied stating I need it for job employment and requested they send it to the company. I already discussed it with my friend working there that a parcel would b delivered to his department from my school. That's how I got mine as hardcopy.

Not to be misled, I would advice you contact your friends that graduated with you.
