A friend failed to register for exam in just concluded
semester despite that he paid for course registration
and did all his tma. He wants to add like 4 courses to
the six he missed this semester. What does he need
to do next semester? Hope he will not pay for course
registration of the courses he registered but not done

them? What does he just need to do next semester? |

emmyvet: How is the exams going bro?
They should have it even if they dont have it you request for. In one request trend, they are good I went though the discussion on Cit211 I study entrepreneurial. A friend did it not me and he said he scored 36.5. Neither him nor me knew how they arrived at that score. There were 120 questions in the exam. Nixowl can you help with how they arrived at that. |

Wow, she didn't go to school yet she has money, influence, recognition and even still speaks good English. Some people who even read up to PhD so not have one tenth of what she had achieved. I am not undermining the importance of education but the bottom line is that it's not through only formal education that one can achieve it's goal. Formal education is only a means. |

izaray: Please can one enroll in two semesters at the same time?
Cos some1 told me dat, i can register for both 100 and 200 level courses at the same? 2 semesters at the same time? What I think he meant is that you can take for instance, from second semester courses if you are in first semester of a particular level which is very possible. I wish to do that in just concluded semester but time and money didn't afford me. |
Education › Re: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by Kazrem(m): 9:50am On May 15, 2015 |
K9blunt: thanks for your response , what I meant is yes I can log in to my portal (my password is still intact in my head) but I just wanted to know if am still safe because I did not write a letter to defer my studies before I stopped schooling for a year+. do you understand my question now? OK. Understood now. You do not need to write any deferring letter. Noun is very flexible. You continue from where you stop. Ensure you know/see the results of your last exams in case there is C.O so that you can reregister them. All in all, visit your SC. |
Family › Re: How To Become Emotionally Strong by Kazrem(m): 7:42pm On May 14, 2015 |
eleojo23: Emotional Intelligence and Emotional Maturity are two terms often used interchangeably which can cause confusion. They are not the same. Emotional intelligence has been defined by psychologists as“the ability to read and handle one’s own emotions (sadness, happiness, anger, pleasure), and to read and understand the emotions in others”
This is quite different from the definition of emotional strength/maturity given above.
Having a high level of Emotional Intelligence doesn’t necessarily mean you will have Emotional Maturity. It is necessary to have Emotional Intelligence in order to have Emotional Maturity since you need to understand emotions in order to develop Emotional Maturity.
Someone can have high Emotional Intelligence but not be mature because maturity is the appropriate application of Emotional Intelligence. It could be said that Emotional Intelligence and Emotional Maturity are like knowledge and wisdom. Those terms are also used interchangeably—but in order to have wisdom, one must first obtain knowledge. Gbagbie. They are almost the same if not same self. I did a certified emotional intelligence course last year. Better still, you can say emotional intelligence encompasses emotional maturity. |

K9blunt: good day, please can anyone advise me on this issue I have with noun? due to financial constraints I had to put a hold to the school for a year plus, now I want to go back and I realized I can log in to my portal. But am afraid my absence may affect my admission and exam results av done since av been active as a student cause I did not write a deferring letter to the school. am I being panicky or should I calm down and go back as if nothing happend and continue where I stopped. please what can I do as I was in my 200 level before I stopped? You points aren't clear enough at least to me. You can or can't log in. Usually, you continue from where you stopped in NOUN as the programme is flexible. So I will advice you log in to your portal or click forgot password if you can't. Perhaps you have forgotten your password. If the above doesn't suffice, visit your SC |
