Good day Kazrem, I've been a student of NOUN for a while now. I couldn't finish my program as at when due.

I registered my project on the old portal and had started work before its suddenly demise. Now, the project is not on the list of my registered or carry-over courses.

Do I have to re-register the project again or is there anything that can be done?

Thank you.

You may have to re-register it bro.

Am in my 200 level second semester, I Gave someone to do course and Exam registration for me, I saw two 300 level courses after the person has printed the courses He registered for exam,, Could It be an "error" or Noun wants me to do the two 300l courses?
The person had knowingly or unknowlingly registered 300 level courses for you. No big problem with that. You can either go to your study center to drop them or do the again.hen you get to 300 level, no need to do them again.

As we anticipate the starting of Tma, please note that if you don't register your courses for exam registration you can't see your tma. In order words, assessment to tma is upon registering your exam.

3. It would say successful.

4. Then go back and login into your portal.

This message is for every Noun students, the new students especially.

Very soon tma will be out. The full meaning is Tutor Marked Assignment. It is your continuous assessment.

That's not news anyway.

The point here is that when Tma starts, you begin to see every Mick and Mice "advertising" that they do Tma or have tma answers bla bla bla. As a new student or even existing students, you don't know who is true or not.

My advice: there are already established monikers here. They have been here for years. They are tested and trusted here. So, look before you leap.

My cent.

With 135 units courses, siwes and project inclusive. I have see all results. I think I'm good and ripe for graduation. What only bother me is that all the 135 units courses (compulsory and electives) were done in Seven Semesters.

So far I don't left any courses undo, expect if I want to be given noun money by doing all the electives in the portal, which I term wastages of unavailable fund.

Seven semester does it mean?

how many units courses for graduation?
Please advice me..

It is not all departments that has 120 units benchmark. Some have more. Law for instance is 170. Economics is 150. So firstly find out for your course

NO.
As long as it was a carryover from last semestre, you only need to pay exam registration. Dazz all!
1. Goto homepage
2.register carryover exams. (This will take you to see all your carryover. Submit and pay)
3. Generate RRR and pay.
4. DON'T FORGET TO PRINT EXAM SLIP

Bro, the guy still has to pay compulsory fee of 18k.

So many questions here begging for reply. Where do I start from?

skillzlujan keep trying. skillzlujan the same thing applies to you. It will eventually go. I hope you know how to do RRR check anyway and you are not putting hyphen in the code. In case, you don't know how, here it is below:

Payment Not Reflecting

Follow these simple steps.

1. On the homepage, nouonline.net, click on check RRR.

2. Enter the RRR code and choose payment category (wallet funding). Then click on submit.

mex551 you don't need to pay second semester fees and third semester fees in first semester.

What the guy meant is that you must pay for course and exam registration of your courses before that Monday to be eligible for exam. That 40k will probably cover both course and exam registration for your courses. The 40k is not for the third semester project.

Hope you are clear now.

DJCentiz if you don't do the Tma of a course, even if you get all the exam questions right, they can't pass you. No tma is automatic carry over. That is why we clamour you do your tma on time.

Mkmoney she cab go ahead. But she should have it in mind that she can't escape the fee. She will pay it sooner than later. All new students irrespective of their levels are to pay 40k compulsory fee.

DJCentiz No. You need not pay before you see your result. What the system meant is that you must sign up for the semester before you can do anything at all in your portal. On the homepage, click on Student log in, then click on Register to sign up for the semester. Taken?

UEDIBO To register carry over course has not been activated. It will be soon. Stay tuned.

Let me rest here for now. Will come back later for more.

You can always WhatsApp or call for any Noun related issue.

I need clarification on

1} I registered and started MSC program in year 2014 and I finished a semester but due to financial constraints I couldn't continue. Now I'm about to continue I av been to the ICT dept at my study center and I have been readded to continue the program.

2} the concern am having is, will my passed courses in 2014 be added to my overall unit I need to do before I can graduate in NOU. Though I have registered all THE {5...} COMPULSORY 2nd semester courses I saw in my portal today. Or I need to register for the course again?

3} And lastly, I discovered that the history of all the money I paid into my e-wallet for registration of course in 2014 didn't show on the e-wallet I printed today. Though the ICT man told me I shouldn't worry about the history cos the NOU site is a new one.

Please I need advice. Thanks
1. Welcome back.

2. You don't need to. They will be added.

3. He his right. We have moved away from cyberspace to NOUMIS.

Education / Re: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by Kazrem(m): 10:03am On Apr 22, 2018
I have a piece of advice for every 400 level students today. The advice is particularly for 400 level 2nd semester students but 400 level 1st semester students can as well make use of it.

You are in your final lap of your journey in NOUN. Whether your grade is first class, second class upper, second class lower, third class, there is little to nothing you can do again to it again at this point. But worse than that is not to graduate this year (or semester) with that grade you have. Worst than that is to know that only one or two courses is what keep you from graduating.

Where am I driving at?

When results are restored on the portal ( hopefully this week), please and please, add all the units of courses you passed with the ones you are doing this semester to know if you had reached the required 120 units for graduation.

Let me put it well.

The minimum required units for graduation is 120 units for those that started from 100 level and 90 units for those who began from 200 level.

So you add all your units from 100 level(or 200 level) up to this semester and see if it is up to 120 units or 90 units as the case may be.

If it is up to it (including project, seminar and IT), you are good to go. Just ensure you pass this semester courses even if it with E. You are a graduate in embryo.

If it is not up to 120/90, it then means you had either failed some courses and didn't re-do them or you skipped some courses in the past. In that case, you cannot graduate because you have not reached the minimum required units to graduate.

Am I communicating?

So what do you do if your units do not reach the 120 units or 90?

Check your results and see if there was a course or courses you failed and didn't redo.

Or compare your results with your course mates (don't be ashamed at this point o) and see which course or courses you didn't register.

Wherever you differ, register the course or courses NOW!

I am saying this so that it won't be that you didn't graduate not because you didn't pass all your courses this semester but because you have not accumulated the required units to graduate.

This is my little advice.

PS: Add this semester courses to the previous courses before you can know if you have reached the 120 or 90 units required.

You can send me a pm for more clarifications.

Goodafternoon bro, good job you're doing here. that's why i try to create time to assist in answering some questions.

There are some compulsory courses in 100/200 level i didn't write (some where added by school) but if i calculate this last semester of mine including my previous courses the units will be more than 120.

Will i graduate immediately my project and siwes result is out ? or will there be need in registering some of the courses ?

Thanks in advance.
You are safe but of they are gst courses, I strongly advise you take them.
