You can apply and get admitted but you will not be able to do screening and have matric number because your credentials will be needed for physical verification. Advice, get the form, apply and have the admission letter at hand. When you collect your credentials, go for screening.

1. Ensure you get to your exam venue on time to relax and revise your material.

2. Remember to go with your exam slip.

3. Don't feel pompous in exam hall and at the same time respect exam rules and regulations.

4. Attempt the questions you know first before the ones you don't.

5. This is a writing exam, if you don't know a question, still find a way around it and write something on it. Writing something similar is better than not writing at all.

6. Crosscheck your works before you submit.

7. Ensure you mark the attendance.

8. Check your seat well before starting. Don't implicate and don't get implicated.

9. If you are quick to finish, moderately and maturely assist your neighbor. Note, moderation and maturity.

10. And finally, pray before and after.

Finally, TMA is out, in a completely different format.

Here are what you should note with the new format.

1. Only Tma 1 is accessible from now till 26th June.

2. After 26th June, Tma 2 will be available and anyone who doesn't do Tma 1 will not be able to do it again.

3. Whether such person will be able to access Tma 2 is another question we are yet to know the answer.

4. You cannot print the Tma except you want to do so per question/per page (very costly as you will print 10 pages for only Tma 1!)

5. On the available Tma 1, it is one question on the screen.

6. Options/Answers don't show until you click on *Show Options*

7. You click submit to move to the next question.

8. You cannot navigate (go forward or backward) except you Submit

9. When you submit, it tells if you get the question right or not, then you proceed to the next question.

My candid advise:

Do your Tma 1 as early as you can. Don't wait till last moment to avoid unnecessary rush and traffic.

Top 11 Things You Need To Know About The Much-Awaited TMA

Good morning everyone.

As we await the release of the Tma, let me tell you 11 things need to know about it. I will do this in bullet format.

1. Tma is the acronym of Tutor Marked Assignment

2. It is the continuous assessment of Noun.

3. It carries 30 marks while exam carries 70 marks.

4. A course, ent 409 for instance, has 4 tma. Namely, tma1, tma 2, tma 3 and tma 4.

5. Each Tma has 20 questions (except for Maths and other calculative courses which have 10).

6. It is done and submitted online.

7. Whatever you score in a tma (tma 1 for instance) will be divided by two, meaning the over 20 will eventually be over 10.

8. Your best 3 tma is what will be used for your assessment.

9. You cannot see your tma again once you submit it.

10. If what happened last semester is to go by, it then means that you can't see tma 2 until you submit Tma 1. In the same way, until you submit tma 2, you cant see tma and same for tma 4.

11. A good tma score will go a long way in boosting your result at the end of the day.
