These results aren't palatable. |
What's PDP percentage there? |
I am only interested in the Presidential. |
It's the eve of Presidential election. In my own opinion, these are what to expect today. 1. Massive withdrawal from ATM. 2 Long queues at petrol station 3. More people traveling to their town or place to vote 4. Hike in transport fare 5. Hike in food prices You can add yours |
So Olamide is this calm and ...... out of adjective. |
Billyonaire:You need to see my boss writing and signature. Probably he didn't also go to school. Signature now becomes an index of going to school. |
This is a good development. However, signing it is not as important as sticking to it. What about their die hard lovers and over zealous loyalist? |
Sentiments aside, these are 5 reasons why voting APC/GMB will be good for Nigeria and Nigeria politics. 1. Entrenchment of Democracy: Emergence of APC/GMB in the coming election will not only send message that power really belongs to people but also entrench our democracy. No politician will dare joke with his mandate knowing fully well that he may be booted out after 4 years. 2. Chance/Opportunity: 16 years of PDP rule in this country hasn't been fair to majority of Nigerians, to say the least. They haven't proved us wrong in almost all the sectors. Education, zero. Electricity, no go area. Security, don't mention it. Corruption, smh. Infrastructure, nothing to write home about. I believe if APC/GMB is elected at the federal level, at least in the first four years, Nigerians will taste true dividend of democracies. They (APC/GMB) wouldn't want to misuse the opportunity. 3. Experience: GMB has ruled this country as a military President. He was a General, meaning he has a hand on experience of running this country. I agree things had changed and you can't compare 1985 to 2015, but then you can't over emphasize the experience OBJ put on the table on his second coming as a President who was also a former head of state decades before. GMB did has his short falls during his 2 years rule; I think he wouldn't want to do same and he can't because this is not a military regime. The National Assembly is here to approve or disapprove his decisions. So experience wise, GMB had it. 4. Stiff Competition/Good Governance: If I know that I have a strong competitors/ opposition, I will always be at the top of my game, leading me to be on my toe at all time hence I will do everything positively to remain in power. Same thing will happen to politics and governance in Nigeria if APC/GMB wins the Presidential election. 5. No More Fooling: The "I had no shoe" mantra or any other deceptive mantra will never work to cajole or fool us again. If APC/GMB wins the Presidential election, it means we can no longer be fooled in this country as far as politics is concerned. We can always eject bad governance with the same thumb with used to inject it. |
