UEFA Champions League Round of 16 Fixutures.

Looking easy for Arsenal this time but won't be surprised if crashed out. Bayern Munich and Real Madrid are at Quarter final already. Man city and Barcelona is dicey so also PSG and Chelsea. The France outfit lost 2 matches so far this season and will not want to lose again to Chelsea. Dortmund has lost the form of last season and are swimming in relegation zone of Bundesliga and may want to concentrate on that than qualifying for quarter final, as a result Juventus is through.

PoliticsRe: APC Yet To Pick Buhari’s Running Mate by Kazrem(m): 9:05pm On Dec 12, 2014
SaiBuharii:
The first point I will make is the OP should not joke with elders mind in the forum by saying again "there is a rumour that Tinubu has been picked". Incase you are new into politics, that's a very controversial statement that has an epitome of deceit in it, its a negative mind changer. You should not use your confusion and wrong information to taint the parties image as a confused party.

Secondly, at this point, I have decided that it's either I and my family, my work place vote for Buhari or don't vote at all. As for the vp slot, I have been a Christian from day one, a strong Christian family, father is a key member in church...but guess what? We actually want a Muslim Muslim tixket...if Fashola will be the other Muslim. We don't care, all we want is positive change. We have all registered and come 2015 - We will go as a family to vote for Buhari. I am a normal Nigerian, I am not being paid, but I hv just ordered a Buhari shirt. I am wearing it to church this Sunday.

And if Ameachi is picked, it is a strategic decision. I am in support, he is a progressive, loved by the people, stands for his right and a performer. Not every one can refuse to lick the ass of the president and be a boy boy. We need people that can stand for the truth.

I am still leaving a 10% margin for a fellow Nigerian to convince me on why to vote for GEJ, I am writing an article "Why should I vote for Jonathan "Where there are questions ranging from where is our 20B dollars, to who was held responsible for my fellow youths that died at the immigration exercise to where is EFCC..if I get answers I can change my mind. Hopefully the article and a good respone will come on Nairaland (front page). If you have your own questions you want me to add, you can send via pm.

Merci

PoliticsDrawing Life Lessons From APC Primary. by Kazrem(op): 7:28pm On Dec 12, 2014
Drawing Life Lessons From APC Primary.

Am not a politician (and don't want to be one) but I love the intrigues, manipulation and suspense of politics. It's no longer a news that 24 hours ago Gen Muhammadu Buhari is the Presidential flag bearer of the All Progressive Congress defeating Former Vice president Atiku Abubakar and others in the race.
As a potential writer/speaker, I just don't see things happening. I draw lessons from every occurrence up to sporting (football) events.
There are life lessons that I learned from Atiku losing that primary to GMB and as usual will want to share it with you (no gain in hoarding knowledge).

1. Money Does No Make Everything Possible. I was reliably informed that Atiku gave $2000-$5000 to delegates to vote for him. They did collect it but didn't vote for him. Despite this dollarization, he lost. Am just imagining if the youths can take this lessons to practice and know that you don't have to "settle" to get your way.

2. Integrity, Reputation Make Things Happen. GMB on the other hand did not spend one tenth of what Atiku spent. He leveraged on his name, who he truly his and his records. He publicly said it that "I don't have pocketful of dollars but I will give my all to you". Already some groups of individuals are pooling resources together to finance his campaign. What more? Lesson: Build reputation, money will follow you.
3. What Worked There May Not Work Here. While watching the live transmission of the primary election yesterday, a political office holder said " spending and giving delegates money recklessly is normal "thing" at PDP primaries. That's their way of winning delegates. It's not new to Atiku". Meaning, the rule at PDP primary is the highest bidder takes the prize no matter how poor the person is. No wonder only few of their candidates perform creditably well. But at APC, it's not that way. Best candidate wins. Lesson: Don't dogmatically apply the rule or formula of where you are coming from to your new abode.

4. Lastly. Consistency Pays. If you remember, after the fall out with Obasanjo (PDP), Atiku came to the then AC (Action Congress) and was the Presidential candidate of AC in 2007 but he lost to Yar'adua. He decamped back to PDP after the election saying AC was too small a party for him to realize his Presidential ambition. He contested against President Good luck Jonathan at the PDP presidential primary in 2011 and lost. Still having that desire to rule this country, he came back to now APC sometime last year (or year before). What does that speak? He is, like some fellows will put it, prostitute politician. Switching like when switching electricity line. He is not consistent. Had it been he stayed with the then AC from 2007 till now, he wouldn't have only become a force to reckon within the party but will most likely win the primary of yesterday. He would also have been one of the National leaders and founding members of now APC - the position GMB is. But then......he didn't stay. Lesson: Think twice, even trice before leaving your current position. If condition warrants you to leave, ensure you don't go back or else you would be like Atiku.

Gud evening,am Sheriff pls i want to study business education,nd i hve seen d whole procedures to be followed bt am still confused as to which coureses i will need to register nd like how many unit is d minimum i will hve to reg per semester,nd another thing is whats d semester duration nd how long does it take to write every semester exams, another thing is that does the school permit instalmental payment nd if no whats d duration for payments;lastly for now what is d meaning of TMA nd how does d exam system works.
Chai, dis your questions is, in Mr patrick grammer, too robust for the metalo tinkology of my human mentality. But then, let me help you a little. You take the number of courses you can afford financially and have time to read for. Maximum unit is 24 per semester, if am not mistaken. Semester duration is 4 months. Exam takes averagely 3 weeks (breaks in between the days) but depends on the school management. Installment payment, No. pay for courses you can afford. Why do you want to know the meaning of tma when you have not even bought the form - the minimum requirement to be a student of the school. Anyway, make e no be like sey I no good, tma means Tutor Marked Assessment. Exam is computer based for 100 and 200level, written for 300 and above. NB. Don't ask any question here until you purchase the form, or else........ Lolz

EducationParent Or Teacher, Who Should Receive The Bigger Credit or Blame? by Kazrem(op): 3:16pm On Dec 11, 2014
An argument ensued between I and a female colleagues yesterday and it lasted for more than an hour. The argument was so heightened that the whole school was aware of it.
What actually was it?
To cut the whole story short, I was of the opinion that if a student does well or otherwise in school and his educational career generally, the teacher should receive 50% of the credit/blame, the parent should take 25% credit/blame and the student should take the remaining 25%. She opined that the parent should take 50% credit/blame, 25% credit/blame to teacher and student accordingly.
In order words, we both agreed the parents and the teacher should receive credit or blame but who takes the larger percentage of it.
The argument was inconclusive as we had to go home.
In your own opinion, who should take the larger percentage of the credit for academic success or blame for academic woes.
