akinmax: I doubt if the OP understand the basic of what the Sanusi cashless economy is really all about.Is not about ATM or cards.ATM cards short coming has always been there which is not particular to Nigeria alone, its a global thing.Cashless economy simple mean an electronics alternative to physical cash.There are other means to settle payment Mobile money,internet Banking,vending,etc.What we should be asking for is an improvement on our infrastuctures rather than remain in stone age.The advantages far outweigh the shortcomings both on the short-term and long-term.ATM/card theft, ATM machine problems are hurdle in a journey that need continuous improvement not a destination .Mind you,with the new chip card security features it is practically impossible to clone the card.

I think the poster understood Sanusi right because Nigeria is just not ready for cashless economy, how many store or business accept eletronic cash in Nigeria( few out of many ),how many online business in Nigeria accept or can process online payment with the lack of trust and 100% chance of fraud in Nigeria ? The idea is not a bad one but the cashless policy is just in a rush,business insurance level is zero in Nigeria cos when hackers goes online the lost will be so high that more people will claim tower like the guy in Abuja did last week

Also, plans have already been concluded by the pastors to officially ordain the former bad girl o Nollywood as a pastor in the vineyard of God.

Eucharia has started her work as an evangelist, as she has already been mounting the pulpit to teach the church congregation.
