Yes.. as clearly as you would hear your audio system speak. God is real. Whether you believe it or not. Infact your believing that God speaks does not add anything to what God is doing and your disbelief does not remove anything.

Hmm so you are saying that demons die abi? undecided
Powers does not necessarily mean demons. I don't want to go into spirituality hierarchy but you could do a little research on what bible refers to as dominion, powers, rulers of darkness, etc.
when u say "a battery is dead" does dat mean the battery is physically dead? If you still don't understand it, please visit the nearest mfm branch for clarification.

OP, for your information and that of all, please note that the MOUNTAIN OF FIRE AND MIRACLES MINISTRIES does not pray for people to die. The "die" prayers are for the powers backing such people. However, ministers from other ministries trying to emulate such prayers erroneously pray for people to die.
I hope this clarifies.

@ Those asking what hospitals I used or are accepting form A.

Since the $250 dollars will be paid using Form A it amounts to 200x250= N50,000 (roughly)

if I am to pay the hospital fee using PTA from stanbic @210; it will be thus:
(2,700×210)
If I were to pay hospital fee without the charges, it will be thus: (2,700×200)
So the difference in paying hospital fees via form A and PTA is thus:
(2,700×210)−(2,700×200)
=27,000

If I am to remove this from the N50000 I was trying to save, I will be left with N23,000. So lets say I was to accrue a sum of N7000 as difference in charges for the higher sum, this comes to N30,000.
So the next question to ask yourself is :
"Since I want to go and put to bed in America, is N30000 too much for all the additional stress I will go through to be able to pay the hospital directly?"
Also remember that if all bills are paid then any cash via PTA or parallel market is available for your personal use.

(Kai! This is long o o)

Hello Fam, travelled via United to Houston last night and wanted to share my POE story.

Travelled at 33+ weeks and had fit to fly from my doctor. One person asked for it at the check in and I showed him but no copy was retained.

Even though flight was delayed due to catering strike at the airport, we eventually took off at midnight and flight was smooth.

Got into Houston around 8.20am their time here and headed straight to immigration. People, Houston POE was a breeze for me! It was almost unbelievable considering all I read here about pregnant women being held hostage or kidnapped.

Officer asked me when last I was in the US and I responded, asked me how long I spent, then asked what I came for and I told him childbirth. He repeated it to himself and asked how much I had with me and I told him but I also stated that I had prepaid my bills using Form A in addition to the amount I had with me. He asked for evidence and I showed him the invoice from the hospital, the email from my bank confirming payment via Form A to the hospital, telex copy of payment from my bank as well as receipt from the hospital showing I had no outstanding balance. Please note that I'm using doctoresparati and this raised absolutely no eyebrow.

The guy just carry my passport and stamped me in till September. No secondary inspection, no custom check, just chilling chopping Chinese rice and awaiting my connecting flight just because? Oluwa is involved.... grin
Congratulations!!!
Just like I mentioned earlier, the CBP's at Houston have nothing against giving birth in the states. Just ensure you pay ahead or have solid proof that you can pay your medical bills in full. Be prepared, prayerful, composed and answer questions politely when asked. Most importantly, I strongly advise you pay your bills ahead as this is foolproof.
There are sometimes odd cases even when u have paid ahead but I can bet my money on it that something triggered those odd cases. However,on a safer note, choose your POE wisely.
May God help us all.

For those who can recall, I have a very detailed transcript of wifey'so interview before I took it off for personal reasons. I am however undecided about the POE trnscripts because of what transpired there. However, I will state some facts:
1. As soon as we gave our passports, my wife was asked why she is here. She said child birth. The next next question was where? She said El-paso. The CBP changed countenance and said "the fact you are going to El Paso is not a good sign at all".

2. Doctores Para Ti is not in their good books (at least in IAH),

3. If you must use Doctores Para Ti try to pay ahead and take proof of payment from your bank as well as from Doctores Para Ti or stand the risk of being sent back to Naija.

4. If you must use El paso, pay for your accommodation ahead. Let the cash on you be for miscellaneous expenses. Carry enough cash irrespective of payments already made. This will show solvency.

5. I discovered Houston POE has nothing against birthing in the USA just make sure you are intact and give honest answers.

6. If you have given birth in the states before, always carry your receipts whether vacationing or not.

7. As we were advised by the CBP, do not use hospitals or doctors that people have been using. Do some research, America is a very big place with many hospitals and doctors. Use the power of Google one of the greatest inventions of our age. This is what people like ladyguinivere and feddy27 have been advising.

8. The Houston POE follow this thread and nairaland.

9. Just like many feared, they no longer regard those e-mails to the consulate. So better you get your plans straightened out. I understand with the dollar palaver, many plans may change. However, try to stick to your plans as much as possible. Be genuine. I am sorry to say but a lot of Nigerians have abused the privileges given in the past and as such future intending mothers pay then price.

10. Be prepared, prayerful and never argue with the CBP. You can make your point whenever given the chance.

I will write more as I remember. Later on, I will respond to the questions earlier addressed to me.

Thank you!

It seems there are no el -paso mums leaving in May in the house?
Vlesparza:

There are always people in El Paso. Intown Suites will get full but there is a new package for accommodation at Extended Stay for the same price (but the hotel is much nicer) the patients are being referred there with a special rate and It should be filling up soon.
shinnie:

Hi niche70,
Wld be in elpaso by april/may.
Which doctor and hospital are you using?
Have you gotten accomodation?

I am in El paso with wifey. Staying at extended stay. To the glory of God , He sent a helper that assisted us in paying using form A via Skye bank.To the glory of God again, $8000 was given as PTA from stanbic for me and wifey on 10th. POE was IAH and as usual, God sent us a helper in the person if the CBP officer that interviewed us. May God bless that CBP officer abundantly, she was an angel indeed. So far we are settling down.

Daycare here too is not smiling too, I'm paying 125 every Monday cos my daughter is bored n need to interact with her peers too.

Congrats KDK, wishing ur wife God's grace in her birthing journey. Pls I want to ask if it was this month that she went for the interview because of the exchange rate u used. What informed ur decision on that given the current exchange rate or do they have a particular rate acceptable by them at the embassy. My own budget is about $11k plus and it's more than urs in naira cos I used 250 as the exchange rate. Again how long before her interview did u get ur bank statement? Thanks

She went this month and I used statements from 3 weeks ago. They will usually check for the flow of fund into the account. I don't know how I will defend a black market rate if quizzed on it. So I stuck to the official rate as I am officially going to exchange fund irrespective of the 'wonders' these banks are performing. If you or your hubby works in certain companies, they will probably not look at your financial statements as the companies speak for you.

Thanks. You women are good with details but I actually had to ask her some questions so I can have a better picture for the write up. I learnt from what people transcribed and as such it will not be fair if I don't share ours. A lot of people have lost their visas as a result of ignorance whilst applying.

Congratulations KDK, im so excited reading a successful visa transcript...they seem to be so scarce this days on this thread. I pray I come with my own testimony soon. Wishing ur DW safe delivery

You are right, very few people transcribe their interviews these days yet we all learnt from what others transcribed in the past. God will give us all testimonies in Jesus' name. Thanks a lot.

I made up my mind long before now to share my interview transcript whether gud or gud smiley
I had my interview in Abuja.... I applied for b2 medical visa since i'm actually going for medical purpose.

Lemme give a brief history.....
Got married 2012. Became preggy in 2013 and baby died in utero at 38wks. Another preg came, baby didnt make it at 32wks. Is someone wondering where d doctors are when all dis happened? 'trust me u dont wanna know. Some wld be in jail by now in a sane country. Now, dnt wonder how i cope with d losses, i think some angels were deployed from above to kip me. Now another preg is here and i cant afford a third still birth. Fast forward to interview

Transcript goes thus:
Me: Gd afternoon ma'am
VO: Gd afternun with a smile.... So why are u going to Texas
Me: (Assumed she saw medical on my visa type) To have my baby
VO: where do you work
Me: I work for the govt
VO: what do u do there
Me: I explained my roles
VO : How much do you earn
Me: *grabbed my payslip to confirm the kobo kobo dt usually follow d amt*
VO: Vo said no, just tell me without checking

VO: how much does he earn?
Me: (hubby doesn't earn salary so didnt know what to say but 250k jumped in my mouth and i spilled it)
VO: Sorry your application is not successful at dis time u may reapply.

I know i goofed but there has to be a way my people, what do I do?
I'm so worried sick about my health and dt of this baby.
My dear sister,
It is well with you. Don't be sad but learn from it. People already pointed out the key errors you made. In addition to those, I would advise you are relaxed during your next interview. Try to give your answers clearly and try not to hesitate. If the VO looks at you directly in the eyes, ensure you maintain eye contact when answering the VO. If you are my type that can't maintain eye contact, I would suggest you practise eye contact.
Have you ever been denied visa into any country? Were you asked your travel history? Please reapply ASAP and preferably Abuja. Please, pray as if you won't go there with complete documents and also ensure your documents are complete as if you won't pray.
