I didn't say you are wrong. I instead pointed out that He, as an Israelite, was sent to the bloodline of Israel, meaning that non-Israelites cannot claim to be of Jesus Christ of Israel. Basically, the Isa of Islam CANNOT be the same as the Jesus Christ of Israel. 😒😒
Ok thanks. Jesus is for all who accept and confess him though.

Jesus was born a Jewish Israelite. A jew is simply an Israelite who descends from either the bloodline of Judah or of Benjamin. So what is there to be afraid of? He himself said His father sent him to the Lost Sheep of Israel meaning He was not sent only to the Jewish section of Israel but to all Israelites.😒😒
Jesus is a jew! Simple

Yes, Jesus of Israel was an Israelite who said His Father sent him to the Lost sheep of Israel, meaning that no non-Israelite could have him. 😒😒
He is not just an Israelite, he is a Jew! Are you now afraid to call him a jew because it make what you believed in a lie?☹️

LadyExcellency:
In Islam, when the Romans came to arrest Jesus, he hid among his disciples and offered them a deal:

“Who will take my place, and Allah will reward him with a castle in paradise?”

The Islamic Jesus bargains for his own survival. He offers paradise as currency for someone else’s suffering.

He escapes and someone else dies.

This fits perfectly with Muhammad’s method, castles, virgins, rivers of wine, palm trees in paradise, divine bribery, used to extract whatever Muhamed desired from his followers.

The Islamic version of Jesus is repackaged in Muhammad’s image: transactional, self-preserving, power-driven.

The real Jesus, the biblical Jesus, didn't ask anyone to die for him, he died for us.

They are projecting the image of Muhammad onto Jesus. At the Battle of Uhud, Muhammad asked his companions to sacrifice themselves to protect him, promising Paradise to those who did. Seven of them were killed while shielding him.
This one is a distorted version of the original story. The Jews who get Jesus didn't narrate their story like that.

Christianity Etc › Re: Where Are The “men Of God” When Their Voices Actually Matter? by Kdon2: 5:05pm On Aug 13
enemyofprogress:
Pastor Oluremi Tinubu, what kind of Christian pastor remains silent when a prominent Muslim cleric in Kano declares that Nigeria belongs to Muslims, tells those who reject another Muslim-Muslim ticket to leave the country, and refers to Christians as “infidels”?

Some Christians may respond with “God forbid” and “God forgive him,” but prayer without courage and action becomes an excuse for silence. This was not an innocent theological remark. It was a public and exclusionary statement about who supposedly belongs in Nigeria. Such rhetoric deserves clear and unequivocal condemnation.

What is even more disturbing is the silence of Nigeria’s prosperity pastors—those who constantly present themselves as men of God, preach prosperity from expensive pulpits, and collect tithes and offerings from millions of Nigerians. When it is time to preach about giving, faith and miracles, their voices are everywhere. But when it is time to confront dangerous religious rhetoric and defend the dignity of fellow Christians, many suddenly become mute.

I keep asking myself: Why do some Christians in Nigeria become so silent precisely when their voices are most needed?

Some of these pastors are quick to criticise Catholic bishops when they speak against government failures, yet when a Muslim cleric makes an inflammatory statement about Christians, they suddenly have nothing to say.

Where is the courage? Where is the conviction? Where is the Christianity they preach every Sunday?

Nigeria belongs to neither Muslims nor Christians exclusively. It belongs to all Nigerians. No imam, pastor, president or political party has the authority to claim otherwise.

If a Christian cleric told Muslims to leave Nigeria, these same voices would rightly demand condemnation. So why the silence now?

Pastor Oluremi Tinubu and Nigeria’s supposedly fearless “men of God” cannot continue collecting tithes, receiving offerings and preaching the Word of God while remaining silent when that same moral courage is required outside the church walls.

Christianity is not merely what you preach from the pulpit. It is what you are willing to defend when defending it becomes uncomfortable.

We are in serious trouble as a country when religious leaders have louder voices for offerings than for principle.

And Nigerians are entitled to ask:

Where are the “men of God” when their voices actually matter?

Is this Christian leadership—or merely religious performance without moral courage?

Copied
Na now the noise begins. Una dey sleep since ba☹️
Family › Re: Nigeria’s Single-motherhood Pattern: What The 2021 Data Shows — And Why No South by Kdon2: 11:18pm On Aug 12
ariesbull:
Nigeria’s Single-Motherhood Pattern: What the 2021 Data Shows — and Why No South-East State Appears in the Top 12

A 2021 data graphic attributed to StatiSense, based on Nigeria’s Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey (MICS), highlights substantial differences among states in the proportion of children aged 0–17 living with their mother alone while their father is still alive. The underlying UNICEF/Nigeria MICS data examines children's living arrangements at state level.

The 12 states with the highest percentages

Rank State Percentage

1 Bayelsa 19.0%
2 Cross River 14.4%
3 Edo 14.3%
4 Ekiti 13.7%
5 Ondo 13.5%
6 Delta 12.8%
7 Osun 11.7%
8 Akwa Ibom 10.5%
9 Oyo 9.9%
10 Kogi 9.7%
11 Rivers 9.4%
12 Ogun 8.5%

The striking feature is the regional concentration: six of the 12 states are in the South-South, five are in the South-West, and one is in the North-Central. No South-East state appears in the top 12.

Why is the South-East absent?

The first point is important: the graphic does not prove that South-Eastern states have no single mothers. It only shows that none of the five South-East states made this particular top-12 ranking.

There are several possible explanations, but they should be treated as hypotheses rather than established causes without additional research.

1. Stronger extended-family involvement

One possible factor is the traditional importance of extended-family structures in many South-Eastern communities. Where a father does not live continuously with the mother and children, grandparents, uncles, aunts and other relatives may provide support or accommodation. Consequently, a child may not necessarily be classified as living with the mother alone.

2. Migration and household arrangements

Economic migration can separate parents and children geographically. The MICS data itself demonstrates that children's living arrangements are affected by parents living elsewhere, rather than simply by whether parents are married or divorced.

3. Marriage and family norms

Differences in marriage patterns, family expectations and social attitudes could also influence the proportion of children living with only their mothers. However, it would be inappropriate to conclude from this table alone that one region has "better" families or that another has more irresponsible fathers.

4. The statistic is narrower than the phrase "single mother" suggests

This is perhaps the most important caveat.

The statistic shown is essentially about children living with their mother alone when the father is alive. That is not identical to measuring all single mothers, unmarried mothers, divorced women, widows or separated women.

For example, a child whose father is alive but lives elsewhere may fall into a particular living-arrangement category, while a child whose father has died represents a different category. UNICEF's MICS tables explicitly distinguish these circumstances.

A particularly interesting regional observation

The data becomes more intriguing when viewed geographically.

South-South:
Bayelsa 19%, Cross River 14.4%, Delta 12.8%, Akwa Ibom 10.5%, Rivers 9.4%

South-West:
Edo 14.3%, Ekiti 13.7%, Ondo 13.5%, Osun 11.7%, Oyo 9.9%, Ogun 8.5%

North-Central:
Kogi 9.7%

South-East:
No state in the top 12.

That concentration raises a legitimate sociological question: what distinguishes family and household structures in the South-East from those in the states appearing at the top of this particular indicator?

But the answer cannot responsibly be reduced to culture alone. Household composition is influenced by migration, employment, marriage patterns, economic circumstances, parental residence and extended-family arrangements, among other factors.

One important warning about interpreting the graphic

The image circulating online should not be interpreted as a ranking of "bad mothers," "irresponsible fathers," or the morality of different regions. It is a child living-arrangement statistic.

Indeed, UNICEF's national MICS results show that children's living arrangements vary considerably by factors such as age, urban/rural residence and household characteristics.

The more interesting story is therefore not simply "which state has the most single mothers?" but why children's living arrangements differ so markedly across Nigeria.

Bottom line: Bayelsa stands out at 19%, considerably above the 12th-ranked Ogun at 8.5%. The absence of all five South-East states from the top 12 is notable, but the available table alone cannot establish why. It provides a strong basis for further investigation—not a definitive verdict on regional family culture.
Edo is is not south west it's south south. You might want to correct that please. Besides na Edo I expect in the 1st position. They are plenty in Kwara State.
