You certainly know nothing about SA. Inasmuch as there may be boastful Nigerians, the claim that Chinese, Indians and Pakistanis do not boast shows that you have never been to SA. The reality is that Chinese, Indians and Pakistanis display such superiority over blacks that they do not want to relate with them at all. Nigerians feel low enough that they relate with blacks and that is why the blacks are able to notice that Nigerians are boastful.

Sincere 9gerian: I consider the forceful take over of missionary schools as one of the most silly, SHORT-SIGHTED and SENSELESS decisions of govt in the history of Nigeria.

I give kudos to any governor that is courageous enough to return these schools, while still finding a way to continue funding them.

We need beautiful schools but beautiful schools with rotten teachers is equal to ZERO.

After the Biafran war, the British government used the North to erase the gains that Southern Nigerians made from colonialism. Nigeria was disconnected from the British educational system in every way. Nigeria formed all sorts of useless local educational systems: 6-3-3-4, 9-5-8,9-3-4, etc. Go to other countries that were colonized by Britain; they still hold on to the British system.

The problem is not NUC and NUC cannot solve the problem. The problem is with engineering lecturers. How many engineering lecturers have ever practically gone through the product development process? Engineering is about wealth creation; how many engineering lecturers have ever created anything that functions? You cannot teach what you do not know.

Nigerian industries have little to offer to an engineering trainee. Most of the industries are not into engineering design. What engineers do in these industries are mostly operation, maintenance, sales and administration. In the industries you see engineering at work, but you don't see how to establish similar kind of engineering elsewhere. Why can't Nigerian engineers be entrusted with a second Niger bridge? The reason is simply that even Nigerian engineers that work with companies like Julius Berger may have been involved in the construction of big bridges, they may not have participated in the design effort.

Why were Biafran scientists and engineers able to do what they did during the war? I happened to have interacted with old engineers years ago. I found out that before the Biafran war, Europe exposed African to real engineering. Unfortunately, the performance of African engineers and scientists during the Biafran war made Europe to limit the exposure they could give to Africans. Soviet Union built what they called "Friendship Universities" where they kept Africans who were there on scholarship. Their own people studied in different universities. Universities in the Netherlands make sure that Africans learn practically nothing, even though they award great degrees to them.

Even if the government were to buy engineering teaching and learning equipment for the nation's universities, most lecturers cannot use them. Even if they are trained to use them, many will not apply themselves to do the amount of work required, because Nigeria has formed a culture of getting money while doing next to no work. Actually, there is a lot that could be done with the amount of funds presently available to universities, but a great chunk of the funds are lost to corruption.

The only solution to Nigeria's problems is end time, which is about to begin.

Most people do not realize that there are two parts to a human being: the inner man (inner being) and the outer man. The outer man is just a house in which the inner being, which is the real man, lives; see 2 Cor 5:1. The inner man is the soul. Jesus' message concerns primarily the soul; the same applies to the messages by His disciples. That is why in the above-quoted passage from Matthew 6, Jesus instructs His followers to seek divine power and divine life for their souls; if they do so, they will be surprised to see how God adequately provides for the needs of the outer man. The reason why there are so many problems in the world is simply that the real man (the inner man) is separated from God, who is the source of goodness. So, Jesus admonishes to focus their attention on maintaining constant fellowship with God.

What I present here may seem so abstract, but I actually write from experience. I happen to be a very talented person. I expected life to go very easily for me, but all my life the opposite has been the norm. I found it so difficult to get married. Each time I approach a girl for marriage, some spiritual power would appear to me in dream as a very fat woman who would pursue me with a crowd of followers. This spiritual force easily turned the girl of interest away from me. A friend advised me to go for deliverance somewhere. It is just like in Nigeria, where you begin to hear a very serious story about what the government is going to do as a rumour. The rumour eventually becomes reality. So is the Mayan 21st December 2012 story. I know a lot about the biblical end time and I must say that there is something to the Mayan December 21st 2012 story. Not that the world will end on that date, but end time events will begin to appear in the world not long after that date.

End time will not happen as suddenly as people think. End time is the anti-type of Israelites moving out of Egypt and going into the desert enroute the Promised Land. The desert experience is whatMatt 24:8 calls the beginning of birth pains. A new world is going to be born, but the birth will be preceded by intense pains. The pain increases as the new world nears. Actual cataclysmic events will take place very close to the appearing of the new world.

Matt 24:7 says that the end time will begin with a combination of wars, pestilences, famine and earthquakes happening at the same time. There are strong pointers at the year 2013 as when this combination will begin. That is why I think that there may be something to the 21st December 2012 story. There will be no cataclysmic event, but the date will be a dividing line. After that date things will begin to change. you may have heard about USA's "fiscal cliff" talks. You may also have heard that Nigeria's 2015 election may not hold after all.

How much?

I have grown to a level in the spirit where I will not waste my time praying against my enemies. Instead, I arm myself for war against enemies when they come to attack me. What I mean is that as long as an enemy or a friend does not attack me, I do not care about him/her, but if I see the possibility of attack from any person, I prepare for war. The Bible is against shedding innocent blood; but if a person engages in warfare against me, I use every spiritual weapon I could lay my hand upon.

Gathering of the brethren is meant to be a family thing, where everybody looks to Jesus and not to any human leader. Jesus is the father of the family. Apostle Paul had to rebuke Peter when Peter clearly acted not in he interest of Jesus. Which Christian today can openly rebuke an elder or pastor if s/he acts contrary to the interest of Jesus?

Emphasis on human leadership is a common emphasis among Christians, but it is not as important as people make it to be. People confuse Christianity with Judaism where God appointed a certain bloodline to be priests; and others must submit to their religious authority. The real purpose of Christianity is to make everyone in Christ priest and king. A person that begins following Christ newly needs guidance from experienced followers. But it is not proper for a person to become perpetual baby that always needs pastoral or prophetic guidance. Apostle Paul, after initially being discipled by Ananias, began to follow the revelations that he received directly from God and built his ministry that way. Today's Christians are so lazy in seeking God. They substitute seeking God with belonging to a church that is led by a popular pastor or evangelist.
