Even when Igbos do good, Nigerians also feel bad. An Igbo lecturer in the University of Swaziland displayed outstanding ability. One day I heard Swazi students say that a Nigerian (Yoruba) told them to be wary of these people, that they dominate a lot.

This is the greatest post in this thread. It actually has to do with "Love"! Love is much more effective than fear. Human beings can easily defy fear of death, but they cannot easily defy love. I remember in the early 90s when I lived in Lagos. I was young then and there was this young woman in a neighbouring compound that I used to play with. One day she climbed the fence and walked into my BQ room. She obviously desired intimacy with me and I knew it. But I thought of one Titi that I was in love with in my church; if I get intimate with this girl, am still in love with Titi? That turned me off. Even though I was a godly person, it wasn't very much the fear of God that restrained me, but the love that I had for Titi. Even today, the reason why I have never got intimate with any other woman, since my marriage, is because I value my wife and my marriage so much. What if I get intimate with another woman and God decides to deal with me by turning my wife's heart against me? Any way, fear of God does come in somehow.

That is why Jesus said that keeping God's commandments revolves around love. If you love God, you will seriously desire to keep His commandments. If you love your neighbour, you have automatically obeyed more than half of God's commandments.

So, the real reason why there is so much corruption in Nigeria is because Nigerians do not love Nigeria. In fact, Nigerians do not believe in Nigeria. Awolowo loved Yoruba land and did great things for Yorubas. M. I. Okpara loved Igboland and did a lot for Igbos. Peter Obi loves Anambra State and so has done quite a lot for the state. Unfortunately, no-one has that kind of love for Nigeria. It is very unfortunate that no-one wants to do anything about the numerous calls to restructure Nigeria.

Before addressing corruption, the nation must get all its institutions to operate in line with international standards. Why should FRSC force people to change their number plates, if not for the mere purpose of making money at the expense of the public. Do other nations of the world command their citizens to change number plates from time to time? Nigeria Police should operate the way Police Forces around the world do. Nigerian universities should operate the way universities in sane societies operate. In fact, this country needs a rebirth. There is need to go back to discover how the various institutions were run just before or just after independence. Most of the people that ran the institutions in those days are either dead or very old; but now is the last chance this country has to rediscover from these old people how national institutions are run in sane societies. It is only after Nigeria has been born again that any person could tackle corruption. Attempting to tackle corruption in the present scheme of things in Nigeria will be chasing after the wind.

Igbos don't need Nigeria's presidency now. It is too late! End time is here. Igbos are the Israelites beyond the rivers of Ethiopia (Zeph 3:10) that must preach the end-time gospel of the kingdom to the whole world. The time for worldly politics is over; it is time for Igbos to do the work that God has appointed for them!

So, residing in Durban is now an achievement in itself and residing in Swaziland is an under-achievement? Incidentally, I do not need any external attachment, like residing in London or owning a private jet, in order to boost my self esteem. As for abusing "your country", the only way to push away the darkness that continues to ruin Nigeria is to bring the truth to light. Nigeria has remained an abnormal country; a country that by 2013 is worse off than it was in 1967 before the Biafran war. By 1967, Nigeria was moving towards becoming a great nation. Educational system was superb; etc. By 2013, there is hopelessness everywhere. The youths are being damaged by the system. See a poster on this thread writing that cultism that is now established at every level of Nigerian educational system is now being practiced by Nigerian youths in South Africa. Because you live in the poshest part of Durban, it means nothing to you. But the reality is that it means that Nigeria is doomed. It means that greater rejection will be meted out to Nigerians by more and more nations of the world, because we are abnormal. It's unfortunate that Nigerians attacking South Africans on this forum have never been to South Africa; neither have they been to any civilized country. One problem Nigerians have is that they grew up in a country that is built on lies and so they cannot even know what is truth. In fact, Nigerians hate truth, having become used to darkness. I see some posters on this thread competing with South Africans in English language. Nigeria does not stand a chance in any English language competition because only very few Nigerians have ever heard a native English person speak the language.

If you have ever watched some Biafran war video clips on Youtube, you would have seen the kind of English language that educated Igbos spoke during the Biafran war. It was far better than the English language spoken by any people in the world that has English as their second language. It was far better than South African English. Most Nigerian youths do not know how badly most things in Nigeria compare with things in countries like South Africa. The "things" include the character of our youths.

Christianity is supposed to be all about imitating Jesus in order to become like Him. That is what it means to put on His yoke and to learn from him. Unfortunately, the churches have not fully understood what Christianity is all about. As we now enter the end time, God is revealing a lot of truth.

Years ago I owned a copy of “The Anointing” by Benny Hinn. In chapter 14 of the book, I read something like: [size=13pt]“This is what the Spirit showed me that will happen to God’s people. The time of fulfillment of what was revealed to him has come.

Notice from Deut 30:2 that in order for Israel's final restoration , which includes worldwide regathering of Jews, to take place, Jews must return to the LORD their God and obey him with all their hearts and with all their souls. It is not surprising that prophets around the world are pointing at Nigeria as where the great end-time worldwide revival will kick off. The revival will be spearheaded by Jews (in Nigeria). The primary purpose of this revival is the final restoration of Israel. Gentile Christians will benefit immensely, because they have been grafted into Israel. the revival will prepare the Church for rapture.

The great end-time revival is about to commence. People around the world will marvel at what God will use Igbos and other Jews to do.

I personally wonder if T. B. Joshua belongs to a small Jewish community I read about that exists in Ondo State. He is definitely championing a revival right now.

The current Igbo Jewishness awareness and other Jewishness awareness around the world are not just random occurrences or a result of wannabes. Thet are actually indications that a major prophecy fulfillment is upon us.

We have seen that the return of Jesus to planet earth is said to be "on the clouds of the sky" and will be accompanied "with power and great glory." In the process of that return, apparently as our Lord descends, He will then send out His angelic company to gather in the Jewish, believing remnant.

An Angelic Gathering

In Matthew 23:37 Jesus weeps over Jerusalem as He pronounces the AD 70 judgment and declares, "How I wanted to gather your children together, the way a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were unwilling." Now in chapter 24, this same Jesus is returning after at least a couple thousand years at a future time when Jerusalem is again in peril. But this time the Jews respond positively to the Messiahship of Jesus, so our Lord sends out his angels to gather His elect (saved Jews at the end of the tribulation) from around the world and bring them to Israel, instead of scattering them as in AD 70 (Luke 21:24). Just such a regathering was predicted in the Old Testament.

The only thing missing from the Old Testament that our Lord expands upon in His Discourse is that He will use the agency of angels to bring Jews to Israel, instead of El Al airline as they come and go today from the modern state of Israel.

The Deuteronomy passage also provides an answer for why our Lord used the term "elect" in Matthew 24:31 to characterize His people. It is because at this pivotal point in history, the Jews will fulfill the requirements of Deuteronomy 30:2 and will turn "to the Lord your God and obey Him with all your heart and soul according to all that I command you today." This was also our Lord' s own requirement for the second coming in Matthew 23:39. The passage makes great sense with such a futuristic interpretation and is also in harmony with clear Old Testament teaching about Israel and that wonderful day when they will be converted to Messiah and receive in history their long awaited blessing.

Fruchtenbaum says,

In the New Testament, the final regathering revealed by the Old Testament prophets is summarized in Matthew 24:31 and Mark 13:27. In this passage, Jesus stated that the angels will be involved in the final regathering and they will bring the Jews back into the land. As to locality, the emphasis is on the world-wide regathering. The two passages are a simple summary of all that the prophets had to say about the second facet of Israel's final restoration. The Matthew passage is based on Isaiah 27:12 13 and the Mark passage is based on Deuteronomy 30:4. Its purpose was to make clear that the world-wide regathering predicted by the prophets will be fulfilled only after the second coming.

Fruchtenbaum tells us the following:

So, there is no need for any DNA test. Igbos will not be going to Israel; angels will gather all Jews (among Igbos, Yorubas, Hausas, Fulanis, Europeans, Asians, africans, Americans, etc., to Israel, when Jesus returns to earth.
