The crooks have extorted so much money from Nigerians. They waited until their pockets were full before announcing an extension. By that time their pockets would have emptied sufficiently and people will rush to pay them again.

Thanks be to God that apocalyptic end time is beginning in April 2014. Vehicle plate number and driving license won't be needed by many by July 2014.

Even that one near my place who confessed to being holed up in the wilderness for almost two months eating grass and lizards, told the children that he commanded a whole battalion and "saw action" that would make Hitler proud!
He even invented and asked his children to address him as "Old Soooja"!

Anyway, its good for the psyche. Tell him to tell you about how he brought down an Apache helicopter with bare hands!

Why comment about a war you know nothing about. Try and get a person who fought on the Nigerian side and ask him how possible the scenario I described could have been. You think that Biafrans always fought with dane guns and were always so devastated and truamatised that they could hardly pull the trigger and yet they held up a heavily equipped Nigeria Army for 30 months. Even in my description of the scenario, you could see that the platoon that my father and his colleagues came to reinforce were devastated and truamatised. Nkpor sector happened towards the end of the war. By then the British had supplied much more arms to Nigeria and had studied Biafrans' techniques and properly taught the Nigeria Army how to rout the Biafrans.

The ratio of Nigeria to Biafra soldiers then was 10:1. All Biafrans who fought at Nkpor sector were armed with "Settima" (M16). Biafrans captured the guns from Nigerians. No one can be in a war front with 1:10 disadvantage and be firing dane gun; you won't even last one minute. By that time the Biafrans were terribly disadvantaged--in terms of ammo, troop numbers--and even their tactics had been discovered by the British and revealed to Nigeria Army. Do you still think I am a son of a man who never neared the Biafran war front?

It is unfortunate that the Nigeria Army of today is still very much like the Nigeria Army that fought the Biafran war. This ambush sounds very much like the ambushes of the Biafran war. Why is it that any time the Nigeria Army does not have overwhelming superiority of arms, there is a disaster. Just because air superiority was not employed, disaster immediately happened. Can't the Nigeria Army fight a battle in which they are disadvantaged? The military authorities need to work on this.

My father was a Biafran soldier. One day, at Nkpor sector, he was among a platoon sent to reinforce another platoon that had been badly pressed by the enemy. They got to the people they were to reinforce in the bush, but they were so psychologically devastated that they couldn't even speak when they were asked the location of the enemy; they only motioned with their hands. My father and his colleagues began to advance towards the trench the other people evacuated from and the enemy suddenly opened fire massively on them. The trench was a few metres away. They dove and rolled into the trench before returning fire. Even though the availability of a nearby trench could be said to be their saviour, their split-second response in the face of extreme adversity was actually the number one saviour. That is why he is alive to tell the story

So, all fraudsters are not Igbos, neither Southerners, after all.

With their lips Igbos say that they are Jews and they are right about that. But they do not know the implications of being a Jew. Many haven't read Deutronomy 15:16-62. It was Jewish chancellorship of Germany during World War II that led to the holocaust. It was Igbos domination of Nigeria just after independence that caused pogrom and eventually Biafran war. Igbos should keep off Nigeria's presidency. Igbos cannot have any other nation other than Nigeria; the next nation they will have is Israel!

Igbos have an extraordinary role to play for the world during the end-time tribulation. They are the people described in Zephaniah 3:10. Biblial end time tribulations will begin in April 2014, but the spiritual giants of end time will begin to arise by the end of this month. Igbos will feature prominently among the spiritual giants.

Education sector does not equate to ASUU. As you travel around the country, do you see the kind of houses that constitute our primary and secondary schools? Primary and secondary schools are where almost every Nigerian youth goes through. Universities are for very privileged few,and yet people want to tell me that Nigeria educational system equates to universities. If Nigerians are so much interested in upgrading the educational system, the sections of the system that are used by majority of Nigerians should be given priority attention. Enough of this ASUU and NANS elitism. Somebody needs to speak for Nigerian masses whose only education are obtained in dilapidated primary and secondary school buildings.

It is not about Igbos; it is about Imo State's desire for education, just for education's sake. Other Igbos (especially Anambra) will first of all consider what to gain from going to such a school. Imo State people just want to be called a university graduate.

I am actually interested, but my problem is that I reside in Anambra State. I don't know when I will be able to arrange to get to Lagos.

Truth is, there is adequate provision for the practical in Nigeria. The question is, why are they not utilized?
Every school in Nigeria, even in the villages, have laboratories built in there. At least most of them. When you don't have enterprising teachers and eager students, you only get excuses.

The real problem is the absence of enterprising teachers. Very few enterprising teachers exist. These few enterprising teachers became what they are as a result of natural gift. More enterprising teachers can be raised through mentoring by the naturally gifted ones. Unfortunately, corruption in Nigeria frustrates these few gifted ones, because unproductive teachers get promoted more than the enterprising ones. The highly or favorably placed unproductive teachers often frustrate the enterprising ones; no-one functions best under frustration.

Africans usually complain about students not being eager or not being serious. It is very unfortunate when you hear African teachers make such a complaint, because the reality is that the seriousness of the students depends on the teachers. Providing the school has admitted students with adequate prerequisites, every other thing depends on the teachers.

Obasanjo actually tripled lecturers salaries in 1999. Unfortunately, that only motivated ASUU to adopt strikes as a hobby.
