Demand for foreign currency could reduce drastically, as FG will no longer give foreign exchange to fuel importers. By the time Dangote refineries come on-stream, fuel imports will completely end. There will be surplus dollars and naira will appreciate significantly. Price of fuel and other commodities will collapse. Won't that be wonderful? |

Mt. 1:21 She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, [Jesus is the Greek form of Joshua, which means the LORD saves.] because he will save his people from their sins.” God’s purpose in bringing Jesus Christ into the world was clearly stated by the angel in Mt. 1:21; to save the world from sins. Sin is rebellion towards God. Mt. 28:19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, Mt. 28:20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” The Church is supposed to fulfill the Great Commission, which is all about teaching the world to obey every commandment of God. 2Ti. 1:8 So do not be ashamed to testify about our Lord, or ashamed of me his prisoner. But join with me in suffering for the gospel, by the power of God, 2Ti. 1:9a who has saved us and called us to a holy life. Every member of the Church has been called by God to a holy life. Kei144:Re. 6:3 When the Lamb opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, “Come!” Re. 6:4 Then another horse came out, a fiery red one. Its rider was given power to take peace from the earth and to make men slay each other. To him was given a large sword. Mt. 24:7 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. If the first seal of Revelation 6 is opened next weekend, the second seal will likely be opened by the first week of July. Peace will be taken from the world and nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. World economy will collapse, leading to famines. |
Feast of Firstfruits in the ancient Hebrew calendar comes up on Sunday 4th June. That is when I believe that the sealing of the 144,000 Israelites will begin. According to Revelation 14, which presents the accurate sequence of key end time events, the sealing of the 144,000 Israelites is the first end-time event. This means that the first seal of Revelation 6 will be opened next weekend. |
CHIOMAEZEH:2Ti. 1:8 So do not be ashamed to testify about our Lord, or ashamed of me his prisoner. But join with me in suffering for the gospel, by the power of God, 2Ti. 1:9a who has saved us and called us to a holy life. If you have been saved through faith in Jesus Christ, then God has called you to a holy life. Holiness and spotlessness is possible and it is not difficult. SultanOfAbia:Great post! South Easterners have been Senate President and Speaker of House so many times and I didn't see any gain that it brought to South East. |
It's drug that causes this kind of crime. No normal young man would kill his mother. |
nony43:When this case first appeared on Nairaland, I stated very clearly that the victim, David, doesn't have education and so didn't understand many of the things people were accusing him of. Now you see it. He didn't know anything about kidney because he never saw or heard about one. It's only in school that you know about these things. Most people on Nairaland don't understand the condition of an average youth of Ebonyi State and why Igbos generally look down on them. That is why an Ebonyi journalist reported that billions was spent to build and then to launch an airport in Ebonyi State where children gathered to eat the leftover crumbs. Here somebody is claiming that David knew that he went to UK on medical visa. How many village secondary school leavers could know such a thing, how much more an Ebonyi village boy that never went to secondary school? Many of you are overrating David Ikpo. |
There is one saying in my place: "Do not think that you are absolutely free from imprisonment until Oyibo people be gone." The failure of the prophecies of men of God is not yet a forgone conclusion. |
TradingGod:Ph. 3:10 I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, Ph. 3:11 and so, somehow, to attain to the resurrection from the dead. Ph. 3:12 Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Ph. 3:13 Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining towards what is ahead, Ph. 3:14 I press on towards the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenwards in Christ Jesus. Ph. 3:15 All of us who are mature should take such a view of things. And if on some point you think differently, that too God will make clear to you. Apostle Paul sought for perfection. The way to perfection was not clearly revealed to him, because it was reserved for the end times. We are the end time generation, the generation that will see the rapture. Only perfect Christians will make the rapture. Many Christians will miss the rapture because of wrong doctrines. No doctrine of any church of today can lead anyone to perfection, and hence the rapture. I belong in the woman of Revelation 12--the 144,000 Israelites. We will raise up the manchild of Re. 12:5; perfect Christians who will be snatched up to heaven in the rapture. I challenge you to practice returning God's word to Him as I have described in the example in this thread. Practice it at least two times every day and see if the righteousness of God will not visibly start increasing in you. It is very much like natural science. Do the experiment and see the outcome. |
Example of returning God’s words to Him Mt. 5:48 Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect. Lk. 10:27 He answered: “`Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’; and, `Love your neighbor as yourself.’“ By your grace, Holy Father God Almighty, I shall be perfect, even as you, our heavenly father are perfect. In the name of Jesus Christ. By your grace, Glorious Father God, I will always love you with all my heart and with all my soul and with all my mind and with all my strength. I shall love my neighbor as I love myself. In the name of Jesus Christ. The above example shows two words that God gave to us through Jesus Christ and how I return those words to God. I speak this kind of word of faith every morning and evening. As I continually return God’s words to Him, I see my heart becoming cleaner and cleaner. God’s righteousness is increasing in me. I believe that in the near future, God will be pleased to have all His fullness dwell in me and I will become like Jesus Christ. 1Jn. 3:2 Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when he appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. 1Jn. 3:3 Everyone who has this hope in him purifies himself, just as he is pure. |
They can become like Jesus Christ Lk. 3:38 The son of Enosh, the son of Seth, the son of Adam, the son of God. Ro. 5:14 Nevertheless, death reigned from the time of Adam to the time of Moses, even over those who did not sin by breaking a command, as did Adam, who was a pattern of the one to come. 1Co. 15:45 So it is written: “The first man Adam became a living being”; [Gen. 2:7] the last Adam, a life-giving spirit. The first man Adam became a son of God when God breathed into him the breath of life (the Holy Spirit)—Ge. 2:7. Adam went against the word of God that came to him and death began to reign over him and his descendants. The first man Adam was a pattern of the last Adam (Jesus Christ) who was to come. God brought the last Adam into the world and at about the age of thirty, God breathed into him the breath of life (Mt. 3:16). He thus became a son of God. Satan tempted him to go against God’s word, but he never yielded to the temptation. Col. 1:19 For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him. God raised Jesus Christ above the level at which Adam operated as a son of God by making the fullness of His Holy Spirit to dwell in him, because he never went against the word of God, even as Satan tempted him. He redeemed us, descendants of the first Adam, from sin with his blood. Anyone who hears and believes the gospel of Jesus Christ and is baptized into Jesus Christ in water and in the Spirit (Jn. 3:5) becomes a son of God. The person has risen back to where our foremost father Adam was before the fall of man. The difference though is that the new son of God is still bearing the sinful nature. Ro. 8:6 The mind of sinful man is death, but the mind controlled by the Spirit is life and peace; Ro. 8:7 the sinful mind is hostile to God. It does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so. Ro. 8:8 Those controlled by the sinful nature cannot please God. God can never be pleased to have all His fullness dwell in a son of God with sinful nature. In order for God to be pleased to have all His fullness dwell in a son that is a descendant of the first Adam, the mind of that son must no longer be controlled by the sinful nature, but rather by the Holy Spirit. How does such a son of God make the transition from living according to the sinful nature to living in accordance with the Holy Spirit? Ez. 36:25 I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your impurities and from all your idols. Ez. 36:26 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. Ez. 36:27 And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws. In Ez. 36:25-27, God says that He is the one who will remove the sinful nature from His son and then put in His son the fullness of His Spirit. Does this apply to every son of God or is there something a son of God must do in order to provoke God to fulfill Ez. 36:25-27 in his life? Ep. 5:26 To make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word. Ep. 5:26 says that God makes a son holy by the washing with water (Ez. 5:25) through the word. “Through the word” is where the son of God participates in the process of removing the sinful nature and replacing with Holy Spirit control. We must not forget that the first Adam acquired the sinful nature through a disregard for the word of God. Incidentally, the way to remove the sinful nature is through constantly holding on to God’s word. Jo. 1:8 Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. Is. 55:10 As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, Is. 55:11 so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it Jn. 3:34 For the one whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God gives the Spirit without limit. The best way to hold on to God’s word is to regularly return God’s word to Him. As a son of God returns God’s word to Him, the word is being fulfilled in his life. In Jn. 3:34 Jesus says that as a son of God speaks God’s words, God increases the measure of the Holy Spirit in him. Increase in the measure of the Holy Spirit decreases the measure of the sinful nature. |
Ps. 82:1 God presides in the great assembly; he gives judgment among the “gods”. Ps. 82:6 “I said, `You are “gods”; you are all sons of the Most High.’ Ps. 82:7 But you will die like mere men; you will fall like every other ruler.” Jn. 10:31 Again the Jews picked up stones to stone him, Jn. 10:32 but Jesus said to them, “I have shown you many great miracles from the Father. For which of these do you stone me?” Jn. 10:33 “We are not stoning you for any of these,” replied the Jews, “but for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God.” Jn. 10:34 Jesus answered them, “Is it not written in your Law, `I have said you are gods’? Jn. 10:35 If he called them `gods’, to whom the word of God came — and the Scripture cannot be broken — Jn. 10:36 what about the one whom the Father set apart as his very own and sent into the world? Why then do you accuse me of blasphemy because I said, `I am God’s Son’? Jn. 10:37 Do not believe me unless I do what my Father does. Jn. 10:38 But if I do it, even though you do not believe me, believe the miracles, that you may know and understand that the Father is in me, and I in the Father.” Ep. 1:13 And you also were included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation. Having believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, Ep. 1:14 who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession — to the praise of his glory. Anyone who heard the gospel of salvation and believed and then was baptized into Jesus Christ in water and in the Spirit, is a god, a son of God, a ruler. The big problem is that most sons of God do not live up to their potential and die like mere men. Why? Ho. 4:6a My people are destroyed from lack of knowledge. |
What about the dead in Christ? 1Th. 4:16 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 1Co. 15:51 Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed — 1Co. 15:52 in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. The dead in Christ were not perfect before they died. How come they will resurrect first, before the living perfect human beings are transformed from mortal to immortality? Will God make imperfect souls His sons and allow them to enter heaven? He. 12:22 But you have come to Mount Zion, to the heavenly Jerusalem, the city of the living God. You have come to thousands upon thousands of angels in joyful assembly, He. 12:23 to the church of the firstborn, whose names are written in heaven. You have come to God, the judge of all men, to the spirits of righteous men made perfect. He. 12:23 talks about “spirits of righteous men made perfect”. This talks about human beings who were righteous during their days on earth. These human beings believed God and feared Him in their dealings. They did not attain perfection in the land of the living, but because of their righteousness, God somehow makes their spirits perfect after they have died. I’ve heard Christians who say that at the point of the resurrection or rapture, Christians who also believe in God through Jesus Christ and who fear God will suddenly be made perfect. Unfortunately, that cannot be because just before the resurrection, God will release so much knowledge about how to be perfect. Anyone who does not utilize maximally the light of God has no excuse for possessing some darkness in her/him. Those who will make the rapture from the land of the living must attain perfection in the land of the living by making use of the grace of God. |
Mt. 7:13 “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. Mt. 7:14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it. There is a small gate that a person must pass through in order to begin the journey towards the rapture of the sons of God. After passing through the small gate, one must go through a narrow road in order to reach the point of adoption of sons of God. The sons of God will be snatched up to heaven (Re. 12:5) in the rapture. Jesus Christ is the small gate (Jn. 10:7) and a person enters the journey to adoption of sons of God by being baptized into Jesus Christ in water and in the Spirit. We want to take a good look at the narrow road that leads to adoption of sons of God. Ep. 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her Ep. 5:26 to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, Ep. 5:27 and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless. Ep. 5:25-27 summarizes the road to the rapture of the sons of God. The road begins in v.25 with being united with Jesus Christ in his death (Ro. 6:3-5). The narrow road that leads to adoption of sons of God is described in v.26 and it is the process of seeking for perfection by the washing with water (Ez. 36:25-27) through the word. V.27 shows the condition of Christians who qualify for adoption of sons of God. Such Christians are perfectly holy and blameless. Do not be deceived by any doctrine; the condition for a Christian to make the rapture is that the Christian must be holy and blameless. You look around in the world today and you do not see any Christian that is perfectly holy and blameless. Does it mean that no Christian will make the rapture? God is doing a new thing that will enable Christians to rise up to perfection. Ez. 36:23 I will show the holiness of my great name, which has been profaned among the nations, the name you have profaned among them. Then the nations will know that I am the LORD, declares the Sovereign LORD, when I show myself holy through you before their eyes. Ro. 11:15 For if their rejection is the reconciliation of the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead? Ro. 11:16 If the part of the dough offered as firstfruits is holy, then the whole batch is holy; if the root is holy, so are the branches. God is about to do a new thing through the Jews. God says that He will show Himself holy through the Jews before the eyes of the people of the world. The time for God to accept His chosen people, the Jews, back to Himself has come. It will lead to the resurrection. Once the firstfruits of Israel (the 144,000 Israelites) become holy, Christians from all countries of the world will start becoming holy. In Ez. 36:25, God says that He will sprinkle clean water on Israelites (and the Church) and they will become clean. After all their impurities and idols have been washed away, God will put the fullness of His Spirit in them and they will become holy and blameless. Ep. 5:26, which I have already described as the narrow road that leads to adoption of sons of God, explains how God will wash away all impurities and idols, as He promised in Ez. 36:25-26. It says that the washing with water of Ez. 36:25 is actually through God’s word. How does this work? Is. 55:10 As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, Is. 55:11 so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. God’s word cannot return to Him empty or void, but will accomplish the purpose the word is supposed to achieve in the life of a human being. Being perfect simply means to always do the will of God. The will of God is stated by God’s word. So, if we want God’s will to be done in our lives, we constantly be returning God’s word to Him, since God says that His word will always accomplish the purpose for which He sent it, any time the word returns to Him. For example: Mt. 5:48 Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect. Mt. 22:37 Jesus replied: “`Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ Mt. 22:38 This is the first and greatest commandment. Mt. 22:39 And the second is like it: `Love your neighbour as yourself.’ Mt. 22:40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” By your grace, Holy Father God Almighty, I shall be perfect, even as you, our heavenly father are perfect. I do this every morning and evening. As I continually return God’s words to Him, I see my heart becoming cleaner and cleaner. God’s righteousness is increasing in me. In Ez. 36:27, God says that when all my impurities and idols have been washed away by the washing with water through the word, He will put the fullness of His Spirit in me and I will become like Jesus Christ. Col. 1:19 For God was pleased to have all his fulness dwell in him. 1Jn. 3:2 Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when he appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. 1Jn. 3:3 Everyone who has this hope in him purifies himself, just as he is pure. Anyone who becomes like Jesus Christ is ready for the rapture. Ro. 1:3 Regarding his Son, who as to his human nature was a descendant of David, Ro. 1:4 and who through the Spirit of holiness was declared with power to be the Son of God, by his resurrection from the dead: Jesus Christ our Lord. God adopts anyone who becomes like Jesus Christ as His son, by the resurrection (1 Cor. 15:51-52). The resurrection will happen shortly before the rapture. The Deeper Life Bible Church has this teaching, which I learnt that Pastor Kumuyi got from The Apostolic Church. The teaching is about spiritual progression of a born-again Christian. Salvation ⟹ Sanctification ⟹ Holy Spirit Baptism Salvation apparently refers to when a person enters through the narrow gate (Mt. 7:13), which is baptism into Jesus Christ in water and in the Spirit. Sanctification should be the process of washing away all impurities and idols by the washing with water (Ez. 36:25-26) through the word (Ep. 5:26). When a person has washed away all blemishes, wrinkles and spots and has become holy and blameless (Ep. 5:27), God is pleased to let all His fullness dwell in her/him (Col. 1:19) and then puts the fullness of the Holy Spirit in her/him. The person becomes like Jesus Christ. The person can walk on water and can translate instantaneously without any vehicle. The person now waits for the time appointed by God for the resurrection. Mt. 25:1 “At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Mt. 25:2 Five of them were foolish and five were wise. Mt. 25:3 The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any oil with them. Mt. 25:4 The wise, however, took oil in jars along with their lamps. The wise virgins go through the narrow road that leads to adoption of sons of God and receives fullness of the Spirit. The foolish virgins do not take time to purify themselves so that God will be pleased to have all His fullness dwell in them. |
Model Leeanne Adu, right, signed up to get a breast exam on live TV from Dr. Sara Kayat, left, because she knows "firsthand how critical early detection is." A woman got a breast exam on live TV. No bra, no carefully draped gown, no blurring. On the British talk show This Morning, model Leeanne Adu, who wears a size 38JJ bra, disrobed and had Dr. Sara Kayat perform a physical exam at 10:30 a.m. BST Monday. "Part of the examination for breasts is looking and feeling," Kayat said in the segment. Kayat talked about the importance of looking at your breasts from the front and side during an exam. "We're feeling for lumps here," she said, walking the audience step-by-step through her process. While breast cancer awareness and the importance of self-checks are regularly talked about on television, it's rare for a real person, as opposed to a dummy or simulation, to be used in such a way.
Adu tells Yahoo Life that she was diagnosed with stage III, grade 3, triple-negative breast cancer in 2020 when she was 35. "The cancer had already spread to my lymph nodes, but knowing my body and breasts meant I found it before it spread further," she says. "So when I saw the call for someone to participate in a live breast exam, I instantly put myself forward because I know firsthand how critical early detection is to survival rates." Adu has finished treatment and says she "lives firmly in the camp of saying yes to things that might change my life, and this was one of those yes moments." Adu says the response to her segment has been "overwhelmingly positive. ...To hear so many people will be checking their breasts and chests makes me so happy." https://www.yahoo.com/lifestyle/breast-exam-tv-174605579.html

Sultty:Exactly. From the post by @Malawian, the company is at Coker Bus Stop along Mile 2 - Oshodi Expressway. |
Malawian:This post contains very important information. Even before I saw this post, my mind was telling me that Nailralanders have not imagined the situation of the mother of this man well enough. The information contained in the paul-peter Nig. ltd. check.com link confirmed what I was thinking. Solomon's father apparently used Solomon's mother just as a side chick; not even a steady side chick, because Solomon's father was already married. If you know the mentality of a typical married Anambra man that is relating with a Ghanaian side chick in those days when Ghanaian women were commonplace, you will understand that he only wanted to catch some fun and was never interested in procreating with the Ghanaian woman. He won't even be interested in giving the young Ghanaian woman so much information about himself, as he was never into long-term relationship with her. That is why Solomon's mother cannot give Solomon much information about his father. The woman has given the much information about the man she related with. The fact that she didn't know about the man she got pregnant for makes her feel terrible today. All she knows is that he was an owner of the Paul-Peter company and so Paul-Peter must be his name. The information contained in the paul-peter Nig. ltd. check.com link shows that Paul-Peter Nig. Ltd. was owned by by two brothers: Paul and Peter Ewuzie. Since they registered their company in Nnewi, Anambra State, they most likely hail from Nnewi area of Anamabra State. I did Google searches on Paul Ewuzie and Peter Ewuzie and saw faces that look like Solomon's face on this thread. Those are most likely faces of Solomon's cousins. I sugeest that Solomon should focus on the Ewuzies from Nnewi area of Anambra State. A visit to the registered company address of Paul-Peter Ltd., A65113 AGBO-EDO MARKET , NWEWI , ANAMBRA STATE, might lead to the Ewuzies. However, connecting with the Ewuzies on the Internet should be a good starting point. Solomon should stop being annoyed with the mother. Her circumstances while relating with Mr. Ewuzie didn't afford her the opportunity to know him well. Solomon should be really grateful to his mother for keeping him and raising him up. Edit: Solomon, contact Nairaland's @Malawian; ask him for information about the elderly man known as Paul-Peter Nig. Ltd. The Coker axis along Mile 2-Oshodi Expressway is most likely what your mother called Lagos-Ibadan expressway. It's been a long time, so there's bound to be some confusion. I am aware that there is a popular pedestrian bridge at Coker Bus Stop. |
The preparation for rapture that I can see in the Bible is Ep. 5:25-27. Ep. 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her Ep. 5:26 to make her holy, cleansing [Or having cleansed] her by the washing with water through the word, Ep. 5:27 and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless. 1Jn. 3:3 Everyone who has this hope in him purifies himself, just as he is pure. 1 Jn. 3:3 is on agreement with Ep. 5:26. Matthew 24 describes end time generally, but Matthew 25 describes qualifications for the rapture. Mt. 25:1-30 emphasizes the need for one to increase the measure of the Holy Spirit in her/him, as a key requirement for the rapture. Mt. 25:31-46 emphasizes the need for love (also Ep. 5:25) as a requirement for rapture. Ep. 5:27 says that Jesus Christ will rapture to himself a perfect Church, which means that only perfect Christians will make the rapture. Ep. 5:26 shows the way for a Christian to attain perfection; it's by the washing with water through the word (Ez. 36:25-27). In Ez. 36:25-27, God says that He is the one that will perfect you. Ep. 5:26 also indicates that God will do the perfecting, but only with the word we return to Him. Word of God will not return to Him void, without accomplishing what it says. So, God says to you, "Be you perfect." You frequently return to Him, "By your grace O God, I shall be perfect as you, our heavenly Father, are perfect." God says to you, "Love the Lord your God..... And love your neighbor as yourself." You frequently return to Him,"By your grace O God, I will always love you with all my heart and with all my soul and with all my mind and with all my strength. I shall love my neighbor as I love myself." And so on. From my personal experience, I can definitely tell you that frequently returning God's word to Him perfects a Christian. And Jn. 3:34 says that frequently speaking words of God makes God to give the Spirit without limit. Increasing the measure of the Spirit in a Christian is one of the two requirements for rapture. There's something that many Christians don't know. It is that before the rapture, there will be a massive worldwide trial (Re. 3:10-11). Just before the rapture, Satan and his angels will be hurled into the world (Re. 12:6-9).. They will unleash the great worldwide trial. Many Christians will fall from faith in Jesus. Only those who confess the blood of Jesus and constantly return God's word to Him will pass this trial (Re. 12:11). The great trial is the qualifying exam for the rapture. The trial is to prove the perfection of the Christians. Why does God need this proof? It's because of angels. In the early days of man, when God transformed man into a living soul (Ge. 2:7)--a soul that can grow towards the level of God or decay towards the level of animals, angels became alarmed that God had favored the new creation above them. One third of God's angels rebelled against God because of this. But in reality, it wasn't God's plan to arbitrary raise man towards His level. There's a condition attached, which is that man must be obedient to all commandments of God. As soon as some angels rebelled against God, the next thing they did was to get man to disobey God's commandment, which they succeeded in doing. The consequence of man's disobedience proved to angels that God does not practice favoritism. Since then, the rebellious angels have been in the business of getting mankind to disobey God's commandments. It's only by the Spirit of God that a human being could perfectly obey God's commandments. The coming great worldwide trial is the final battle. Re. 3:11 I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no-one will take your crown. Lk. 13:22 Then Jesus went through the towns and villages, teaching as he made his way to Jerusalem. Lk. 13:23 Someone asked him, “Lord, are only a few people going to be saved?” He said to them, Lk. 13:24 “Make every effort to enter through the narrow door, because many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able to. Lk. 13:25 Once the owner of the house gets up and closes the door, you will stand outside knocking and pleading, `Sir, open the door for us.’ “But he will answer, `I don’t know you or where you come from.’ Lk. 13:26 “Then you will say, `We ate and drank with you, and you taught in our streets.’ Lk. 13:27 “But he will reply, `I don’t know you or where you come from. Away from me, all you evildoers!’ |
God is not a trinity. God is one. De. 6:4 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one. Re. 4:2 At once I was in the Spirit, and there before me was a throne in heaven with someone sitting on it. Re. 4:3 And the one who sat there had the appearance of jasper and carnelian. A rainbow, resembling an emerald, encircled the throne. Re. 4:4 Surrounding the throne were twenty-four other thrones, and seated on them were twenty-four elders. They were dressed in white and had crowns of gold on their heads. Re. 4:5 From the throne came flashes of lightning, rumblings and peals of thunder. Before the throne, seven lamps were blazing. These are the seven spirits [Or the sevenfold Spirit] of God. Here we see the description by someone who saw God, albeit not in the physical, but in the spirit, just like in a dream. God does not resemble a man in any way. When the Bible says that God created man in His image, it is not talking about physical appearance, but the fact that man could host the Holy Spirit of God. Re. 4:5 describes the Holy Spirit that emanates from God like a powerful wave. It shows God as the emitter of the Holy Spirit. Human beings also have spirit, but it is not powerful on its own. However, the human spirit becomes more powerful through enabling by a more powerful spirit. Re. 5:6 Then I saw a Lamb, looking as if it had been slain, standing in the centre of the throne, encircled by the four living creatures and the elders. He had seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits [Or the sevenfold Spirit] of God sent out into all the earth. Re. 5:6 describes Jesus Christ. He is definitely not a part of God. But he does possesses the sevenfold Spirit of God, which gives him the capacity to operate like God. However, notice that Re. 5:6 prtrays him as a receiver of the Holy Spirit and not an emitter, in that his possession of the Holy Spirit is represented by seven eyes. Only God is the emitter; in Re. 4:5 God's sevenfold Spirit is described as blazing lamps--emitters of light.. |
The real situation is not as simple as the the title of this thread suggests. IREV shows a stiff competition between APGA and LP. APGA is even having upper hand in some places. |
IREV seems to show that LP is winning Enugu. APGA is not doing well at all. |

MC Oluomo should be careful about threatening Igbos with violence. If Igbos are so pushed to the wall that they decide to embrace all-out violence, it can be dangerous. Some people don't knoww what happened in Kano in 1991. If all-out violence erupts, will MC Oluomo and his men be able to withstand the violence? |
