This has been my cross for 3 weeks now. My 8 months old baby poos after every feed and its lose. He stopped for a week and started again. Took him to the hospital and was given emgyl, ors and zinc, i doubt those things worked. He no longer sucks, stopped himself at 6 months. When i went bavk to the hospital the doctor said it is teething cos he is still over active if not hyper, he is feeding well and drinking water like camel. The thing i do now is take it to the Lord in prayer as i yaff taya for the poo.

Waoh it is well mama. I've given her ors and she's better now, the poo has reduced. Before now it was constipation. May God help us all

Doubledouble:

If the frequency of poop has markedly increase then u might be right that it's diarrhea. If on solids, she might have eaten sthg that doesn't sit well with her tums. Just breastfeed more/ formula feed as norm. Give loads of fluid but no juices pls- definitely not for baby- and not by u if breast feeding, likewise no spicy, sugary or fizzy stuffs. No foods that can trigger diarrhea. Give more starchy bland foods like potatoes, rice cereal, carrots et al. It will clear up by itself, but watch out for dehydration. If u notice any sign of mild dehydration then give ors asap.
All the best dear

Thanks dear i appreciate. I'll get the ors asap, she has eaten just little today and avoiding breastmilk.

I'm also team no pap, I don't even know how to make it without koko so i gave up a long time ago.

Mummy Ekene enjoy the vigilante o, e no get time frame but if u are lucky, u fit get small breather from 3 months upward. At 6 months, my baby still wakes up at least 3times before daybreak regardless of when i put her to sleep. Please stare all you want at your baby, you've earned it but try and let others help you in carrying small before he gets use to only you carrying him it can be hard to break at later stage.

Good morning family

Hi mums, pls I gave birth last month n d paed said I shouldn't rub my LO powder until after the neonatal period ( 1 month) . Pls does any one know why? Thx.

Its not even advisable sef after 1 month cos of the particles getting to the lungs which can affect proper breathing. Instead of using powder dress ur baby appropriately for the weather don't cover too much don't mind people telling u babies don't recognise heat they so know heat wella. Avoid powder

Good evening mamas. How una dey? Pls I need help in getting a car seat for my Lo.
I want something durable and also something I can carry along into church etc (detachable) and which my baby can use upto 1yr.
He was weighing 6kg @ 6weeks.
I saw the graco snugride classic connect 30. I wud like a review and other suggestion especially on the ones u have used.
I also want advice on a baby carrier and walker to buy too.
Thanks!

Cc: Onegai, tchiwinnie, Zaynie, favoredgal, Ahnie, lovinam, beedam, Ozycy; Biko help out.

I didn't buy the baby car seat, i went straight for the convertible one. I like graco products so my sentiments will be with graco. For baby carrier u can buy the evenflo baby carrier, pls don't bother about the ones of 5k o to me it's just a waste of money and it won't last you for long at all. I don't have an idea for walker didn't buy one where the road i wan use am lolz. Goodluck

Keji3 and other tutu-loving mamas,

I present the DIY tutu! No sewing. I followed the instructions from the picture (please follow it to the letter, deviating from it will give you unnecessary wahala).

Will proceed to do other colours now

(the model woke up and started eating her tutu, sooo unprofessional grin )

U are too much grin I can't wait to make mine. Is the tulle easy to get? Also do u think i will be able to get that band from people that sell tailoring stuffs?

TUTU MAKING TUTORIAL

I haven't made one but I made something with the concept for an adult, so it's not hard.

If you have a day, you can make it (I don't know any tailors right now).

You can find all the materials pretty easily: the knit base is the same they use for hairbands or just buy elastic and tulle. Shikena. And you don't need to sew (because I can barely sew but it's easy).

If you don't want the tutu layers to be the same length, cut the top layers shorter than the bottom layers. So if your lower length is 6" cut 4" for the top layer.

Measure the tulle into the length for the baby and then tie it round the band, add more tulle to make it full. Fluff when you're done or add a bow.

If you know your tailor can do it, let him/her do it. But a tutu is really easy to make.

Waoh this is so cool.... I'll try and see if i can diy. Thanks for sharing

Keji3 and Newmum15,

I'm totally in the same boat and Baby E is constantly waking at night. We are trying to sleep train her but shes just starting cereals. We will have to ignore her cries at night and we've noticed that if she wakes up less, she sleeps better. So it's to get earplugs and hope for the best till she learns how to self-soothe.

I allowed her to cry yesterday night but couldn't stand it any more after like 10 mins cos she was ready to bring down the roof. I think co-sleeping is making it difficult to ignore her. She sleeps better too and wakes up happy whenever she wakes up less.

My sister we're in the same boat right now.My son just turned 5 months and I wake up 5 times to feed him before morning.I tried giving him cereal the day he turned 5 months,he totally refused it,I tried giving him baby formula(cos he took it before my breast milk started flowing and I felt the transition from breast milk to cereal might be too much for him)but he refused that also.I didn't know switching from breast milk to cereal or other semi solids can be that hard.Right now I don gba kamu that I prolly have to keep waking up to feed him a lot till he's 6 months (hopefully he'll want other food then)

After trying to get her to take formula for a month, she just woke up one day and started accepting it but for cereal she took it right from the first day i introduced it. Pls just keep at it and be consistent i was always complaining on this forum when my baby refused to take the bottle to the extent that i was spoonfeeding formula (things my eyes have seen). My sister switching from breastmilk to other food for some of us is like war o may God help us all. Stay strong this too shall pass

Nothing is wrong with it. When my baby was doing that, his day care nanny asked me if I ate snail while pregnant. She said whenever he does that, I should use turning garri stick to turn him.

Did I answer her? Hell no cheesy cheesy

That nanny is funny, if na me na dat day my baby go stop the creche cos i'll always believe she might be using turning stick to turn him when i'm away. God save us from all this unecessary myths.
