Bible Reading: Matt 11:2-3

Doubt, a sign of unbelief, demotes. Doubt hinders a man from receiving God.

But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think he shall receive anything of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his way. James 1:6-8.

John the Baptist in a state of unbelief doubted Jesus, despite the fact that he had known who He is at the beginning of his ministry. Jesus told His disciples that John the Baptist was more than a prophet. He was the one sent directly from heaven by God. However, because of his doubt, he was demoted to a rank even below that of the feast in the kingdom of God (Matt 11:11) ;Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of woman there hath not risen are greater than John the Baptist: not withstanding he hath is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.

In 1 King 19, Prophet Elijah after a great exploit for God. Killing the prophets of Baal and Queen Jezebel raised attack against him, in his thought and expectation God should have come down and delivered him. But when the deliverance was not forth coming he doubted the power of God, he doubted his calling and ran away from where God had planted him to be a thorn in the flesh of King Ahab so his supernatural ministry was cut short. He could have continued as a prophet of God, but doubt cut his life and ministry short. When you doubt God you are limiting the Holy One of Isreal. (Ps 78:41)

No matter what the situation may be now or what may confront you today, do not doubt God, hold tight to your faith. Habakkuk 2:3 says even though it tarry wait for it

Delay is not denial; do not doubt your God-given abilities and the power of God.

In the event that satan brings doubt into your heart today, always remember the past and the supernatural deeds of God in your life. Remember His good promises, remember God cannot lie and declare boldly that the same God who did these things, will do much more.
Your miracle will no longer tarry, wait for Him. You might have wept through the night, know surely that your joy cometh today. (Ps 30:5)

Prayer: (i) You spirit of doubt, I bind and cast you out of my life in Jesus name. (ii) You doubt you will not rob me of my miracles today in Jesus name.

Confesssion: I doubt my doubts; I cast out my fears in Jesus name, I shall not be demoted; I am part of those who hold on to their confession to the end, I refuse to limit God in my heart, God is greater and bigger than whatever circumstance that may face me today.

Persecution is a sign that you are yet to get to the place or your point of destination. However, many times we don't realize this, and at such times we trouble ourselves enduring and engaging in fights of faith and thereby waste our time. As a child of the kingdom, are you experiencing persecution or opposition in any area? It is a sign that you are yet to get to the place of your best potential and the end of your rest. Wisdom therefore is to move on. When God wants to advance a man and move him to the next level, what He normally allows to come his way are persecutions because man does not generally want to leave his comfort zone and without leaving the place one cannot advance. The present persecution you are passing through is not to kill you but to advance you.

In Genesis 26:17, Isaac thought he had finally gotten to the place of his rest so he decided to "settle" in the valley of Gerar, a rolling country, a place of instability. He reopened the wells, tried to establish himself, raising up the old ruins until God allowed persecution to come his way, so that he might move on and get to Rehoboth - an enlarged and better place (Gen 26:22).

Whatever persecution you may be passing through God wants you to look at it as something, to move you forward, you ought not to fight it, you know that a man of God must not fight (2 Tim 2:24). You don't need to slug it out, it is a sign that you are yet to reach your REHOBOTH; you just move on. God could have fought with Herod when Jesus was born but instead he told Joseph to take the child and flee to Egypt, a place of fulfillment of destiny.

Do not let yourself be hindered or clamped down to the land of your persecution and refuse to move on because of all you have acquired there because you would soon get to your Rehoboth.

I know a minister of God who had moved several times before he finally got to his Rehoboth where he is now doing exploits, built one of the largest church buildings in Africa and a world standard university.

I PRAY FOR YOU TODAY TO TAKE THAT STEP AND GET OUT FROM THE PLACE OF NARROWNESS, SMALLNESS AND STEP INTO YOUR BROAD PLACE. MAY THE ANGEL LEAD YOU TO THE PLACE THAT GOD HAS PREPARED FOR YOU, WHERE THERE WILL BE ENOUGH ROOM FOR YOU TO FLOURISH AND WHERE STRIFE CEASES. YOU WILL GET THERE IN JESUS NAME.

Prayer: (i) In the name of Jesus, I command all evil forces holding me down in the place of hatred and strife to lose their grips over me right now. Confession: I move out of the place of hatred, to the place of celebration. As Isaac got to his Rehoboth, I release the angel of God to lead me to my place of rest, place of miracle and fulfillment in Jesus name. All my strifes ceaseth as from today in Jesus name.

Bible Reading: Ex 10:28-29

Words are important, the scripture says those who know how to use words would reap its benefit.

Prov 18:20-21 "A man's belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled. Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

A man will be satisfied with the fruit of his lips. The power of life and death is in the tongue.

The word of Pharaoh in Exodus 10:28-29 became a snare to him. Infact that was the last time he saw Moses because, he himself pronounced his own death through his mouth.

As a child of God, mind what comes out of your mouth. Words are potent, words are powerful. Don't allow words that will hinder the plan of God for your life come out of your mouth today.

Many times we hinder ourselves through the words of our mouths. Many have entered into problems through their words. Many have been disconnected from their destinies and helpers through the words they spoke at some points. Many have been sacked from their places of employment because of the words they uttered. Relationships are being broken and marriage cords are being sundered through the misuse of words. That is why the scriptures say in Colossians 4:6.

You should allow only the word of grace to come from your mouth, words that are season with salt and the psalmist prayed in Psalm 19:14; Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun.

I PRAY FOR YOU THAT TODAY AS YOU GO ABOUT YOUR DUTY THE SEASONED WORDS THAT WILL BRING HELP TO YOU WILL BE THE ONLY THING THAT WILL COME OUT OF YOUR MOUTH. YOUR WORDS WILL NOT BE A SNARE TO YOU.

Meditate on these scriptures all through today and make a decision that you will not allow evil words to come out from you. Fill yourself with the words of God until it becomes a wine that has no vent in you (Job 32:19) for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh (Matt. 12:35).

Prayer: (1) Father, let the blood of Jesus Christ be sprinkled upon my heart and let my heart be cleansed from every evil conscience. (2) I shall be a channel of life today through my words. (3) I set myself free, in which ever area I have trapped myself by the words of my mouth.

Confession: I shall enjoy full satisfaction today, because only good words shall proceed out of mouth. I shall enjoy the good fruit of my mouth, I have favour with all men from the increase of my lips. My tongue is held in control, you my tongue, will not produce death, you shall produce only that which pertains to life. I shall not be reactive in any circumstance of life today in Jesus name.

Today, God is going to make a difference between you and the unbelievers around you, who are your competitors in Jesus name.

God does not want you to walk in darkness. Darkness represents confusion and ignorance. The people of the world may not know where to turn to or what to do, but as the precious jewel of God know the way.

1 John 2:27. But the annointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same annointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

The scripture says light is sown for the righteous. Prophet Isaiah was referring to this situation in Isaiah 60:1-3 Arise, shine; for the light is come, and the glory of the Lord is upon thee. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of they rising.

I affirm to you here that God never changes. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. What He did to separate His people in Egypt from the Egyptians, He will do again and again in this season of global meltdown and famine. Everybody may walk in darkness and may not know what to do concerning how to come out of the economic recession, but that is not your portion. Gross darkness may cover the world, but for you the light of the lord shall arise. Jesus in you is the light and the hope of glory.

What He did for Isaac in the time of famine as recorded in Gen 26:1-12, giving him the light as to what to do during the famine of that era. He will do for you too today and this week in Jesus name. He will also do for you what He did for Jacob under the oppresion of Laban (Gen 31:4-9).

TODAY I PRAY FOR YOU THAT HE WILL GIVE YOU LIGHT (knowledge) OF WHAT TO DO TO GET OUT OF EVERY OPPRESSION.

God gave Joseph light that brought him out of the prison of Egypt to promotion. IN THE SAME MANNER I COMMAND YOU OUT OF WHATEVER PRISON (a symbolism for darkness) YOU ARE NOW. Now, in Jesus name receive the light for your promotion.

Follow the path of these men of God. Know more about God through His word and continous prayer. Daily ask for wisdom and trust God totally.

Prayer: Father in the name of Jesus give me the wisdom that will create a strategy that will produce the best result for my life.

Confession: I have light, I arise and shine for my light has come and the glory of the Lord is risen upon me. Darkness may cover the world, gross darkness may cover people around me, but for me the Lord has arisen upon me and His glory is seen upon me today and forever more.
People that will bless my life, family and business will see my light and they will begin to come to my light, therefore today I will lack no help in Jesus name.

Prayer: 1. Father trouble those that are troubling me and command them to release me compulsorily in Jesus name. 2. In Jesus name I become a plague to the camp of the enemy as the ark of the Lord became a plague to the Philistines.

Confession: As Israel became a leash or trouble to Egypt, I become a trouble to the wicked one today. I become a goad that cannot be carried by the enemy. The powers of my enemies are smashed and scattered all around me by the presence of God in my life in the name of Jesus.

STRATEGY FOR SUCCESS - Friday, May 1st.

To be successful in our calling we need a strategy which comes through wisdom from God. Moses was complaining and God revealed to him the end of the assignment He had just given him from the beginning. God revealed to him the strategy He had put in place to make the king of Egypt release the Israelites. God did this purposely to put the heart of Moses at rest, so that he would not be frustrated and that he would be confident. It is because of lack of revelation of God's plan or strategy for our assignment that makes us give up before the completion of the assignment.

This happened to Joshua. For all battles he fought before the one he fought with Ai, he asked God for a strategy. He however took for granted the battle against Ai; he probably thought Ai was a small nation and so no need to hear from God. If he had consulted God before confronting Ai, God might have told him there was sin in the camp. But he just went into the war presumptiously and was defeated fair and square by Ai soldiers.

Get this clear reader, every new challenge, problem or opportunity needs a new strategy from God before you can succeed. That was why David declared that God daily anoints him with fresh oil in Psalm 92:10.
Every day has her own evils just as it does opportunities. As you meditate on how to go about your assignment today, I pray that God will give you a strategy(battle plan) that will lead you to success in Jesus name.

But even before you go further in the assignment, you too can ask God for the revelation of His strategy for it.

Prayer: (i) Make me know my end oh Lord! (ii) Open my eyes to see what you are doing in my life and ministry or assignment today. (iii) Oh Lord, give me the strategy that will lead me to success in that which you have given me to do in Jesus name.

Confession: I receive the battle plan for my divine assignments today.

WHO IS THE LORD? - Thursday, 30th April.

This is the question the enemies always want to ask his legally captured captives any time they demand their release. But the Lord was introduced in Psalm 24:7 "lift up your head O ye gates; and be lifted up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in"

He is the great king
The Lord, strong and mighty
The Lord victorious in battle
The Redeemer of Israel
The one who parted the sea
He is the one who killed the firstborn children of Egypt

This same God will show up and plead your case and deliver you from the terrible grip of the enemy in Jesus name.

It is the practise of the enemy not to want to release his captives especially when the captive has been serving the good cause of the wicked according to the statement in Isaiah 14:12, 17 and Jeremiah 50:33. "That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners .... all that took them captives, held them fast, they refused to let them go"

Wherever the wicked has held you bound the same God of Israel will arise and show up and fling open the gates that have held you bound in Jesus name, even if you have walked yourself into the hands of the enemy, as the israelites did. You shall be delivered. ONLY trust in the Lord.

The captive of the mighty shall be delivered acording to Israel 49:24-25
TODAY IS YOUR DAY OF DELIVERANCE, even though you might have been a legally captured captive through evil dedication, parental curse or self-inflicted curses, TODAY IS YOUR DAY OF DELIVERANCE IN JESUS NAME.

Prayer: (i) I command every gate of satanic prison that has held me bound to be flung wide open in Jesus name. (ii) I command every age-long door that has held my ancestors bound, that is holding me bound too, to open up in Jesus name. (iii) By your mighty arm O Lord, bring terrible punishment upon the wicked in my life in Jesus name.

Confession: I declare today to join the Lord's army, I decamp from devil's army and I am now on the Lord's side.
