Engineer Dare Bankole has declared that the APC in Oke Ero local government area is as good as a dead horse . Oke ero local government is one of the council areas that was won by the people's Democratic party PDP in the last General elections.

Bankole said this while speaking at the recently concluded Reconcilation and Engagement committee meetings with critical PDP stakeholders in the council. The Aiyedun born Engineer who was one of the speakers at the meetings said there is no APC in Oke Ero except for agrieved PDP members who will soon be appeased to return to their home party, PDP .

The PDP House -of-Rep candidate for Irepodun, Isin, Ekiti & Oke Ero Federal Constituency in the last general elections also praised the party leader and former President of Nigerian Senate, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki, CON for his wisdom used at employing the best hands as members of the Reconcilation committee .

He said the PDP in Kwara state under Dr Bukola Saraki is now well positioned with the reform mechanisms put in place especially that of Alhaji Baraje-led Reconcilation committee which has been working asidously for a bigger , better and more responsive party structure .

Bankole noted that the efforts is already yielding as some of the APC members are already approaching him and other stakeholders in Oke ero to join the moving train of PDP.

" Those people have tasted the other side of coins and they have now seen that Dr Bukola Saraki is better by far , they have been calling us to admit them formally to our party and when the time comes , I'm going to call back on this committee to come and conduct their induction back to the party "

In his own bid to encourage the commitment,dedication and hard-working spirits among staffers of the Polytechnic community , the Rector , Kwara State Polytechnic, Dr Abdul Jimoh Mohammed has distributed foods and beverages to staff of the Polytechnics in commemoration of this year's Ramadan

For Muslims around the world, Ramadan is an important month for fasting ,prayer and offering of charity to less privileges . This year, Mr Rector said he is impressed by the unwavering supports of all staffers in the Polytechnics community since inception of his Rectorate and that he is reaching out to show his appreciation for their individual roles at making things work for the institution .

Some of the items distributed include parcel of Semovita , beverages and other food items aimed at helping families to navigate through the inflation in prices of commodities ocassioned by the ongoing Ramadab festival .

Dr. Abdul told our correspondence on phone that he was amazed by the hard work, team spirit and dedication exhibited by all staff especially through the hectic period of the Covid19 .

There was a mild drama yesterday in Patigi local government area of Kwara state when one Mr Mohammed Ibrahim Liman fondly known as Ndagiri , a former indicted Patigi LG Chairman who sacked by Saraki-led Government over corruption and diversion of public properties was returned by Governor Abdulrahaman Abdulrazaq to chair Patigi LG again .

Liman Ndagiri , an erstwhile Personal Assistant to Alhaji Zubaru, former PDP Chairman in Kwara state . Liman was nominated by his principal, Alhaji Zubairu as Patigi LG Chairman based on relationship but luck ran out of him when he was caught red handed trying to sell huge loads of fertilizer meant for Patigi with an intention to pocket fund accrued from such illicit transaction

Recall that sometime in 2008, some truck loaded with Fertilizer enroute to northern Nigeria were intercepted at Oke Oyi by security operatives . When interrogated , the truck drivers confessed that the loads belongs to Patigi local government Chairman who asked them to deliver the Fertilizers to some businessmen in Kano and Kaduna .

When contacted , Liman Ndagiri denied knowledge of claims by truck drivers . He was said to be making contacts to help him cover up his crime when the story got to Governor Bukola Saraki who immediately launched an investigation which eventually indicted the chairman .Subsequently, he was removed from office following indictment

But the Otoge Governor, Abdulrahaman Abdulrazaq has now rewarded Liman Ndagiri , an indicted thief with an appointment to return as Patigi local government caretaker Chairman . Liman Ndagiri was seen yesterday brandishing his appointments letter while appreciating his employer for another vantage opportunity to unleash his venom on the common patrimony belonging to people of Patigi local government .

However, reactions have trailed his appointment, with some Patigi people saying Governor Abdulrazaq and APC in Kwara have expressed their love for corruption and affininty for morally bankrupt People.


A concerned stakeholder from Patigi was quoted as saying *"This Appointment is indeed a rare opportunity for a looter and thieves to be given another chance to loot again, the common patrimony of Patigi people"*

Since Abdulrazaq coming to Government in 2019, Transparency, accountability and probity have all taken flight from governance of the state . The FOI bill that had been passed by 8th Assembly to ensure transparency in government was stepped down by the Governor and substituted with worthless social audit , this has attracted condemnation from lenght and breath of Kwara state and even beyond .

after his inauguration, Abdulrahaman Abdulrazaq removed sitting council Chairmen across the 16 local govt with claim that they engaged in sharp practices and asked EFCC to launch probe but up till today , the report of their investigation has not been made public by EFCC which acted as middleman for Abdulrazaq vendetta against perceived political opponents even when tenure of the Chairmen had already expired .

As if that was not enough , Abdulrazaq also sacked legally constituited board of KWASIEC on Trump up allegations and without following due process , an Illegal action that has led the Government into another Illegality of appointing non elective officials as caretaker committees to oversee local governments in Kwara .

A non Governmental organization, Kwara Agenda has vowed to drag the state government to court over this, kwarans await mang interesting dramas as they unfold under Abdulrazaq Government.

The Kwara state APC caretaker Chairman, Honorable Bashir Omolaja Bolarinwa, BOB has expressed grief over demise of Olupo of Ajase-ipo, Oba Sikiru Atanda Woleola, IlufemiloyeII describing the late monarch as a man whose reign brought peace and progress to Ajase-ipo and Kwara south .

Honorable Bolarinwa in a statement titled , Late Olupo was a Rare Gem and a worthy Monarch" signed by his media aide , Ayo Abegunde narrated how the late Olupo lived a life of humility ,calmness and exceptional love for his subjects .

The statement reads in part :

"The Caretaker Chairman, Kwara APC, Hon. Bashir Omolaja Bolarinwa has described the demise of the Olupo Of Ajase-Ipo, Oba Sikiru Atanda Woleola as a justifiably painful incident but a fact we must come to terms with as mortals"

"From my early contact with the late kabiyesi in lagos and his eventual home coming to mount the throne of his forebears, Oba Sikiru has always displayed exemplary humility, calmness and love for people.
His reign of over a decade brought peace and massive development to Ajase -Ipo. He was loved by his people for his fairness and forthrighness.

His departure is therefore a very sore point for us his admirers and all those who looked up to him.

On behalf of our party, elders and stakeholders, l extend my heartfelt condolences to the Government and people of kwara state, the kwara state traditional council, through its chairman, Emir of Ilorin, Maimartaba Zulqanaini Gambari, GCFR, the chiefs , sons and daughters of Ajase-Ipo, his friends and family for this loss.

It seems Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq is not living any stone untouched, in ensuring he manipulates everything in his own favour for 2023 Gubernatorial elections ; which he is focusing all energy and expending so much Kwara resources upon .

From sponsoring his factional group in APC, to sponsor people who declared supports for his second term agenda; to hijacking structure of APC through the backdoor; to cornering the APC registration and revalidation excercise in the state and now sponsoring local associations to begin sinister moves , for movement and creation of additional Polling units across the state.





Some agents of the Governor, including leaders of his AA group have been deployed to every nooks and crannies of the state to woo community development Associations . The CDAs are been wooed into signing documents which will request INEC to grant relocations of some polling units from their current locations to another locations as well as creation of additional ones across the state.

Information reaching this medium from the meetings held in Magaji Ngeri Ward, by AA group leaders, led by one Olawoyin with some community development associations(CDAs) ,has it that they intimated the CDAs that they have the directive of Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, to request signatures of the CDA leaders on already prepared letters which will be sent to INEC to actualise the sinister plot aimed at perfecting elections malpractices in 2023.

Magaji Ngeri Development Association is one of the CDAs engaged in a meeting on Saturday; with Olawoyin telling them the Governor is interested in moving the polling units at the Emir Palace and other locations while additional Polling units will also be created in the state .

This is contained in an already prepared letters addressed to independent National electorial commisson,INEC, by the AA group who are seeking for CDAs that will assist them with signatures.

As at the time of filing this report , each leaders of Community Development Associations were promised 500k once they append their signatures on the AA letters .

Kwarans must wake up and stop the Governor from taking actions that may jeopardize the future electoral processes and ignite political tension in the state

A politician in Kwara State, Mallam Saliu Mustapha has been caught on camera dolling out money to people to register as members of the party in Kwara State.

The APC has suffered major setbacks in Kwara recently as a result of the power tussles between among the political leaders in the party in the state.

At the moment, the party is divided in several camps and factions. While some belong to the Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRaZak faction, others belong to Gbemisola Saraki faction and Lai Mohammed factions. These factions have been on one another throats, a situation that has caused disaffection in the party. This has also caused apathy in the party so much that most people refused to register to revalidate their membership.

But to stem this, Mr. Saliu decided to be wooing people in their hundreds into the party by dolling out cash to each person that successfully register as members. He was said to be giving them N3000 each on registration.

When confronted, a member of the team of Mr. Saliu Mustapha who asked for anonymity said it was an effort at motivating locals to troop out in their hundreds for the exercise.

'When he came, he realised that a lot of people are not happy, they're complaining of the process of the registration."

"So, he needed to give that extra push at his home base only, to encourage a lot more people to come out to register. The motivation is for passport and transport logistics. There is no more to it."

"Mallam (Saliu) is a thoroughbred party man. He will do anything humanly possible to nurture this party that he is a founding member of."

"Moreover, he is spending his money. He is not spending government funds. So, there is nothing bad about him motivating his people to register for his party."

A chieftain of the all Progressive Congress and one of the Gubernatorial aspirants of the party in Kwara state , Hakeem Oladimeji Lawal has taken a swipe on the ongoing APC/Otoge Registration excercise in Kwara as he Berates disenfranchisement of his people in Magaji Aare ward , Ilorin East local government area by registration officials who are allegedly acting under the directives of Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq


Lawal in a statement made available to journalists in Ilorin today spoke on his ugly experience at the APC Registration point in his home , Magaji Aare ,where people were given foolscap sheet in place to of party's designed Registration leaflets to register. He described the exercise as shambolic and flagrant abuse of the APC registration guidelines noting that the whole scheme appears as manipulation to serve parochial interests

He said most of his political followers popularly refer to as "UP LAWAL" political family were denied access to register as valid APC members despite the risk they all have had to take to actualised the Otoge struggles where some of them put down their lives at stakes .

He described the situations in APC as sad where ghost names are been generated to fill up the party registers and that they even went as far as importing names on INEC registers as well. Hon Lawal noted that

The statement reads in part :

"I have received reports as regards the flagrant abuse of our party's registration guidelines, we know that it's only a means to an end - manipulation of the exercise to serve parochial interests, however, I'm happy that Kwarans are watching and taking note."

"The aftermath of the meetings shows that majority of the "UP LAWAL" political family are unable to register as party members, the same political family that risked everything for the Kwara liberation struggle to be actualized, with some paying the ultimate price, and many with unhealed internal and external scars, but the future is pregnant they say."

It's a sad situation we've got on our hands, where intending members can't register and non-existent names are generated to fill up the party registers, in other places, INEC registers are being used too, this is certainly against the guidelines of our party, and the rule of fair play and justice.

When I got to my polling unit earlier today, I filled the registration booklets, and I enjoined them to register others too, but to my surprise, their response was that they have been instructed not to register people at the polling units except via foolscap booklets, I then asked them rhetorically as to how I will register when my people are not a allowed to register!

In my admonishment to them, I told them: "We said Otoge right? Then let's show them how it should be done, we should show them that what we truly said (preached) is what we're doing, all of us that are the leaders at the front are nothing without our people, those following us are the most important, they are the reason why we're in politics.

"You said you brought out materials because of me, you should also know that those who are at the bottom will also get to the top tomorrow, and those at the top may also find themselves below, so you shouldn't use high or low class in recognising people.

"If they give you any instruction, let them know that our own ways in Magaji Aare is different. You can't give me registration slip and refuse to register my people, if you don't register them, keep your registration slip!

I walked away without receiving the registration slip, as it wasn't morally right for me to take it, when more than 75% of our supporters are unable to do so, this we will continue to speak and act against until the right thing is done, I hereby use this medium to call on the Danboyi-led team to make sure the right thing is done in Kwara.

Lastly, I call for calm and peace amongst party members, this time shall pass and the will of the people shall be fulfilled in the end.

THE N35bn SHAM DOCUMENT: NONSENSE UPON STILTS

In an apparent knee-jerk reaction to the statement I issued on 1 February 2021 and the general public outcry about the illegality Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazak is about to perpetrate on the treasury of Kwara State, the State Government hurriedly released a document purporting to provide a breakdown of the purpose of the loan.The Theocument is titled “Kwara Government N35bn bond” and was circulated under the heading “35bn Bond explained”.

Let me say quite categorically, that the document is nothing but a sham. It reads more like a poorly written kindergarten pamphlet. For a document designed to satisfy strict requirements of various legislation, it fails abysmally. Quite apart from the grammatical and typographical blunders it contains, the document is riddled with incongruity and befuddlement.

First. Clearly, whoever concocted that document is incapable of simple arithmetic. In summary, the document gives a breakdown as follows: “Infrastructure 13bn”; “Industrial park and Textile Production N5bn”; “Agriculture 7bn”; “A cumulative sum of 15bn will be spent on Education, Health, Entertainment and creative sectors”. By my reckoning this gives a total of N40bn. So which are we to believe: does the Governor want to borrow N35bn or is it N40bn? The error is more than merely arithmetical. It is an insight into the insincerity with which the government is preparing to plunge Kwara State into debt in anunjustifiable,unsustainabe unaccountablemanner.



Second. For a document purporting to provide a breakdown, it actually raises more questions than it answers. For example, it fails to list the so called “37 road projects across the three senatorial district”. One would have expected to see each road listed together with a cost estimate for its construction.The Ministry of Works should have prepared a Bill of Engineering Measurement and Evaluation (BEME). The same goes for all the so called projects listed in the document. Figures seem to have simply been plucked out of the thin air to arrive at a predetermined amount. The document hardly fulfils the “cost-benefit analysis” required by federal legislation.



Third. It is an indispensable requirement that any such loan must be provided for in the Appropriation Law, i.e. the Budget. Sections 120 and 121 of the 1999 Constitution (as amended) is abundantly clear that no moneys shall be received or spent by the state government without an appropriation law.



Section 44 of the Fiscal Responsibility Act 2007 also makes the same requirement. So does Sections 223and 224of the Investment and Securities Act 2007. This proposed loan is nowhere to be found in the 2021 Budget submitted by the Governor and passed by the House. This is evidence of further illegality by this government on a grand scale.I dare say that the approved 2021 Appropriation Law is a public document. Any attempt to doctor its contents to insert a provision for this loan will be most glaring indeed.

Finally, there is raft of compliance issues which bedevils this application. There has been no rating assessment by a registered rafting agency whose report will be required under the rules of the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Kwarans will recall that when the Bukola Saraki Administration wanted to raise the N17bn bond, it commissioned a renowned international credit rating agency, Fitch Ratings. The state’s financial and economic outlook was rated “B+/AA-” This

was the first time any state in Nigeria was rated above that of the national rating.

It is therefore manifestly obvious that this proposed N35bn loan is a non-starter. Perhaps, this accounts for why the Governor has employed subterfuge in order to surreptitiousness sneak this untenable loan past the kwara public.

Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazak must come clean. The people of Kwara deserve and demand full disclosure of all matters relating to this proposed loan application including, but not limited to all documents, approvals and steps taken.

The public also want a full and proper public hearing which must include all critical stakeholders and the general public. Once again, the EFCC and the DMO are put on notice about this illegality of monumental proportions that is about to be perpetrated on the treasury of Kwara State.

*Contract Inflation: Kwara PDP asks Abdulrazaq to speak on allegation, prosecute culprits*

*...lambasts Governor over refusal to pay new minimum wage to workers*

The Kwara State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has called on Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq to immediately come clean on reports by a non-governmental organisation, ENETSUD, which revealed how contract awarded by the State government for the renovation of Patigi Secondary School was inflated by the sum of ₦31,980,799M.

The call was made in a statement issued by the party's State Publicity Secretary, Tunde Ashaolu on Thursday in Ilorin. It said aside several contract inflation including that of renovation of Ilorin Government School, projects executed by contractors patronised by the government, were also below standard designs stipulated in the contractual papers, as indicated by ENETSUD in its latest Social Audit report.

The Kwara PDP therefore charged Governor Abdulrazaq to immediately speak out and address allegations raised in the report which it said, had further validated its earlier stance that the present administration is pervaded by several underhand dealings and racketeering.

It added that Governor Abdulrazaq should stop covering up for corrupt officials within his governemnt and must account for all the atrocities committed under his watch, which it said, were largely caused by the governor's incompetence and administrative inexperience.

The party noted that Kwarans cannot be swayed by the pretentious transparency and fake probity claims of the Abdulrazaq's government.

The statement reads in part: "After a study of the report by ENETSUD, which has been in public domain for the past few days, our party was shocked by the revelation of contract inflation contained in the report. The report in summary, reflected that only in Patigi Secondary School Renovation contract, officials and contractors under Abdulrazaq-led government dubiously cornered over N50million out of the N164million total contract sum, without any explanatory details.

"While the contract was said to have been fraudulenttly inflated by ₦31,980,799 to pave way for stealing, ₦21,530,874 worth of contracts were yet to be executed by the contractors patronised by the Government.

"The Kwara PDP holds that the defeaning silence and inaction of Governor Abdulrazaq since the revelation by ENETSUD signals conspiracy and complicity on the part of the government. A government that is transparent and accountable - as Abdulrazaq wants Kwarans to believe - would have spoken on the issue and taken steps to investigate the matter.

"Kwarans are shocked and at unease by the various revelation of contract inflation and shoddy project execution under the watch of Governor Abdulrazaq, and what they expect from the governor is to address the allegations and go after the culprits. The governor isn't expected to shield his corrupt appointees and government officials. He must account for all the atrocities committed under his watch that are largely aided by his incompetence and administrative inexperience."

The Kwara PDP, has meanwhile, lambasted the State Government over its failure to implement the N30,000 new minimum wage for workers in the State, stressing that the government is insensitive to the plight of the workers and has not been sincere in its negotiations with the Labour movement over this matter.

The party notes that the reported N1000 increment on workers' salaries approved by the State Government as against the promised N30,000.00 minimum wage, is totally unacceptable, uncalled for and highly insensitive.

The Kwara PDP urges Kwarans to take note of the high-level fraud and looting of public resources going on under the present administration of Governor Abdulrazaq and his insensitivity to the plight of workers in the State.

A group from Kwara North axis has slammed the Rector of Kwara State Polytechnic, Dr Abdul Jimoh Mohammed over roles in some act which involving corruption , fund mismanagement, ethnic stigmatization and general abuse of office .

In a statement signed by the group Chairman, Ambassador Haroon Bako and secretary, Hajia Fatima Gobiyeruma , the group claimed it is responding to Justice Demand Forum's outburst in support of the Rector and their attack on the suspended Bursar of the Polytechnic, Hajia Aishar Moabmmed whom the group described as one who has suffered too much persecutions in the hands of the Rector just because of her Kwara North origin .

The Group also demand explanations to some corruption allegations it claimed was perpetrated by the Rector and attached some photos evidences .

CORRUPTION CANNOT CURE CORRUPTION - BEING RESPONSE TO A MISCHIEVOUS ARTICLES AUTHORED BY JUSTICE DEMANDS FORUM , KWARA STATE POLYTECHNIC, ILORIN.

We are young professionals from varying fields who hail from different parts of Kwara north region. Our mission is to fight and defend the common interest of people of Kwara north who are largely marginalized, subjected to all sorts of ill treatments in public offices especially in the hands of some devilish people who see themselves as sole giants who will not allow other regions to grow

Having taken our times to understudy every bits of malicious articles written by Justice Demand Forum , a pseudo group made up of faceless individuals through which the bitterness of their sponsor; who is obviously shocked by visitation panel's report which tends to have vindicated the Bursar who is been unduly persecuted for no other course than her kwara north trademark.

Contrary to the claim by this group, that it is seeking justice , it is clear the group is on a mission to launder the image of Hajia Aisha Mohammed , a selfless public servant who is serving her second term in office as polytechnic bursar and other polytechnic staff who are not in the good book of Dr Abdul Mohammed .

While we are aware this is an hatchet job contracted them by Mr Rector who is already nursing fear that the panel report might have rubbished his sinsiter plan to get the Bursar booted out by all means possible, we will only respond to corruption issues being continuously raised by these merchants of lies so that the Polytechnic community as well as general public can take an informed position in this whole matter .

As a group , we are interested in asking Justice Demand Forum why they have been putting the cart before the horse in their selective corruption fight ? Is it that they are not aware of all the misdoings of the Rector who has been confronted on several occasions with facts of his shady dealings and use of his office to attract undue privileges to himself and his relatives ?

Can a Rector who himself stinks of corruption be a genuine agent that can be used to fight corruption in any system?

Justice Demand Forum claimed they are interested in weeding out corruption from the system , a stance we in Kwara north youth frontiers would have supported wholeheartedly; if it was borne out of primordial sentiment and ethnic sensationalism. But it is quite disgusting that an innocent woman who has not been found wanting even after several ICPC invitations is now a victim of their campaign of calumny just because of her Kwara north identity .

Since their claims hinged on fighting corruption, let us assist them by asking them to tell their sponsor to provide explanations on the following allegations of corruption, nepotism and gross financial recklessness that are now public knowledge since his assumption to office as the Polytechnic Rector:

1. Ten Million Naira(#10Million) Admission Processing Fund

Kwara North Youth Frontiers are of the view that he who must come to equity must come with clean hands . Aside from whipping up sentiment and sensationalism by Justice Demand Forum , they must also be courageous enough to ask their sponsor to provide answers to the allegation of embezzlement and illict sharing of roughly 10million naira Admission Screening and processing fund by the Rector and his accomplices . This fund which was laundered under the pretense of payment to Global Wise , a Tech Company that has not carry out any project for the institution.

The Justice Demand Forum should also summon some courage to ask their sponsor what business he had with the FCMB bank ; which made the Bank built a luxurious 4-Bedrooms Flat located in Oyun(Photo Attached) with a Motorize Borehole dug within the premises ? Was it not the polytechnic salaries the Rector forcefully took to that bank without any board approval that put him in a vantage position to get such benefit from the bank?

If truly those writing for this man are educated , they are supposed to know that using public office to influence undue favour is not only corruption but criminal offence which is even jailable under the law .

*Deliberate Sabotage of Tetfund & Polytechnic Codes to Favour Friends*

The illegal lifting of suspension and subsequent payments of all withheld salaries and allowances of one Mr Abdulganiyu Lanre aka BABADUDU, an ally and loyalist of Rector who was suspended for leaving office for over one year , without approval but because this man carries out dirty task for the Rector around the polytechnic community , he has not only been pardoned by the man who see himself as 'Alfa & Omega' in the polytechnic but also had his debt overturned .

If breaking the law to favour your friends is not an act of corruption , then what do we call it?

Aside from this , there is another ally who was sent on Scholarship abroad by Tetfund . The total amount spent by Tetfund on this man was about eight million naira but the man failed in his first semester at the host institution and was withdrawn for academic incompetence.

Embarrassed by this development, Tetfund wrote the polytechnic demanding full refund of all scholarship grant expended on him . in order to make the refund easier , the past regime gave directives that fifty thousand naira be removed monthly from his salary till he fully pay up his debt .

But this Rector for no known reason stopped this deductions without any board decision and placed the repayment burden on the polytechnic.

*Lavishing of Polytechnic Fund on Workshops Against Board Resolution*

The polytechnic community had been directed to suspend both local and foreign conferences, seminars and workshops since March 2020. But the Rector out of desperation to corner fund had fraudulently enlisted his allies and caused huge amount of fund to be awarded for each beneficiaries who attended the staged managed workshop at Abuja .

It is important to lecture our friends at Justice Demand Forum that all of these funds being mismanaged by Dr Abdul Mohammed led Rectory were not made under his leadership. They were left behind by the Elelu administration he is busy castigating today .

Now if Elelu had been a wasteful spender like this , would he have access to the pool of fund he is sharing for his people today?

Let us emphasize that we are not going to be gagged by by any smear campaign launched against anybody from Kwara north region . instead, we will continue our show of solidarity and encourage our people who are suffering various degrees of persecutions in the hands of people who are intoxicated by power to remain calm and law abiding

Our advise for those behind JDF is to first remove the log of wood in their own eyes before trying to remove the sediments from other people's eyes .

It is morally unjustifiable if not despicable for a corrupt ridden personality like Dr Abdul Mohammed who has suddenly acquired enough properties within few months in office to be dragging another people based corruption

In a sane system, such character ought to have willfully excused himself from the system to allow a detribalized and competent hands with proven integrity take charge in the interest of progress of the Polytechnic.

Instead of the shameless man to be remorseful with all the fact and evidences of sharp malpractices, infidelity , contract inflation , unlawful deployment of staff and misappropriation of polytechnic fund all leveled against him, he is busy running from pillar to pole inducing faceless group to write defamatory articles against polytechnic officials who have had to suffer injustice in his hands just because they are from Kwara North .

We challenge the Rector to summon courage and allow anti corruption agencies to step in and investigate all our claims above to prove his innocence or otherwise.

*ABDULRAZAQ'S PERFORMANCE IN GOVERNMENT BETRAYED APC PROMISES TO KWARANS - KAIV*

The Kwara APC integrity Vanguards has expressed its pertubation over the maladministration and abysmal performance in government being exhibited by Mallam Abdulrahaman Abdulrazaq , the Kwara state Governor since inception of his leadership of the state.

The group while fielding questions from journalists after her end of the year meeting held in Ilorin , the state capital listed the disengagement of over two thousand youths popularly tagged sunset workers by Abdulrazaq's government at the tail end of year 2020 among other grievous misdoings of the Governor as ones which are in total variance with the laudable programs the APC promised kwara people while seeking political offices before 2019 general elections.

KAIV in an address by its national coordinator , Alhaji Abdullahi Onimasa said the kwara APC although produced the incumbent Governor, Mallam Abdulrahaman Abdulrazaq but that he is not the man he pretended to be in 2018 and 2019 when the party and the people of kwara state cast their votes massively for him and other candidates of APC leveling on Otoge Mantra which the party presented to people of the state.

The group observed with utmost dismay that Abdulrazaq performance in government has betrayed the Next Level vision the APC planned for the state noting that there has almost been nothing tangible the government can claim credits upon after using almost two years in office .

*Using State Resources to Promote AA Group within the Party*

It is indeed pathetic that the Abdulrazaq government is used to thinking that it can hoodwink Kwarans with the "pretentious holiness than thou claim" his hired media promoters are spreading on cyber space. For example , the Governor who usually claim he is not ready to spend state fund for operation of his party gave out #10Million each to each Assembly members to help him nurture his own factional groups which he recognized as structures across the 16 local government of the state

Aside from this , about #20million was given to few AA group members in Adewole ward which was shared for the last Christmas and new year celebration. The crisis created among leaders of AA group is still fresh in Adewole all because of this fund .

The question on the lips of average kwarans is , where is our Governor getting all these fund he is using to promote crisis in the party in order to buy relevance for his factional groups?

"Of what inspiration can we derive from a Governor who has shattered the good image of our party ? What he is doing is not what were promised to kwarans and our Party's next level manifestos and the promises we made in 2019 have been grossly betrayed "

"For instance, we promised to deliver better welfare packages to the state civil service by improving their take home pay through implementation of the #30,000 minimum wage but that is not near happening almost two years down the lane , instead , we are dragging our workers to court for demanding us to make home our promises , this is reckless and misuse of power by its custodian"

"We are not speaking for the party, in fact , so many party stakeholders who had spoken to us appealed for tone down of our articles against the Governor but for how long shall we keep mum ? As a group which worked so hard to install this government, we have the right to speak up when things are not going as planned because of posterity "

"We make bold to say that it is never part of the agenda of our party to retrench any worker let alone mass sack that cut over 2,400 young teachers from their jobs. This is most unfortunate and a direct variance of our campaign promise and APC’s manifesto to create jobs for the state"

" Now lets ask the Governor if he had seek input from the party or any stakeholder before embarking on such misadventure , I tell you no , he doesn't work with the party or anyone who can rightly advise him, I doubt if he knows the social consequences of laying off such huge numbers of young people from active service , this is an unfortunate situation we have found ourselves as committed party members but we shall not be deterred "

"Abdulrazaq doesn't value intellectuals, he is always afraid to mingle with sound minds , he has inferiority complex problems. Unfortunately, he has the support of some over-the-counter advisers currently hovering around him for their personal greed and these are the people he listens to " The group coordinator said .

*Plan Hijack of Party Structures Using TIC Appointments*

Of important to note is the desperation of the Governor to upstage the legally constituted caretaker committee of the party through all crude means possible .

We have it on good record how he wants to go against the constitution of the Federal republic of Nigeria to appoint members of his AA group as caretaker Chairmen in the 16 local government areas of the state . The major purpose and mission set out for the caretaker chairmen will be to undermine the party at their respective local government. All of the beneficiaries of this arrangement have already been given marching orders by the Governor and they have pledged their allegiances to abide by the dictate of the Governor.

While we are not expecting any rewards from this government, its good to put it for record purpose that the progressives within kwara APC who fought assiduously to rescue Kwara from Saraki Oligarchy in 2019 are not part of this embarrassing discharge of government functions.

*Abdulrazaq's Shallow Academic Records Playing out in his Govt*

As a group , we have critically researched all the Governors in Nigeria based on their academic qualifications and we found out our darling state of Kwara houses the least educated Governor from among the 36 Governors of the federation. Unfortunately, Mallam Abdulrahaman Abdulrazaq is the only Governor in Nigeria whose highest educational qualification is an ordinary "School Cert" which is even riddled with controversy, all thanks to Rt Hon Razak Atunwa who accepted to step down litigation that could have opened Kwara state to embarrassment of the decade . We therefore feel it is unusual to expect logical developmental policy from a character with such a stunted academic background who lacks any viable administrative skill except managing ( a brief Case Oil Firm " First Fuel with no existing structure anywhere in Nigeria.

The group concluded by expressing its worries over the rate of exit of vibrant youths from APC to opposition parties at the tail end of last year noting that this has summarised disappointing performances of the government they all toiled to put in place .

"The mass exodus of promising young men and women who were parts of the movement that sacked Saraki hegemony is a clear indication that the government of Abdulrazaq has hit brick wall and that not only the people are fed up with his abysmal failures but even his own people who shared same party affiliation are also fed up ."

Kwara state governor, Abdulrahaman Abdulrazaq has launched another scheme to truncate the party presently constituted around Hon Bashir Omolaja Bolarinwa, BOB led Caretaker committee in the state . This is in a desperate bid to avenge his recent loss to the party chairman in Abuja , the fct following 11th hour sworn-in of BOB as party caretaker chairman by National leadership of the party.

Recall that last weekend , the Governor had perfected plan to substitute BOB with one of his AA faction members to emerge as caretakers Chairman for the all progressive congress , kwara state but in a dramatic manner, Hon Bashir Omolaja Bolarinwa was inaugurated alongside 35 others as caretaker chairman for kwara state APC.

*Gov. AA , his family and Supporters still Nursing Injury Sustained from BOB Miraculous Victory*

This development which has thrown Governor and his supporters off balance since last weekend has left the Governor puzzling on how BOB managed to emerge at Abuja despite huge financial resources committed to upstage him at the national arena .

Governor Abdulrahaman hired 5 different private jets which conveyed his supporters to and from Abuja after he was said to have secured assurance from some people in Abuja that his candidate, Chief Fagbemi would be sworn in as replacement to BOB at the inauguration arena. Chief Fagbemi choice by Governor Abdulrahaman was a total violation of party's rule which stated that to emerge as state caretaker chairman, such a persons must be a member of state executive of the party , Chief Fagbemi is not a member of excos of kwara APC .

Inside source close to Abdulrazaq family confided in this medium that a senior Sister to the Governor and former Senator , Kahirat Gwadabe had been calling several people in Abuja to express her family sadness over BOB emergence as caretaker chairman for kwara APC but some people had told her on phone that the emergence of BOB was in interest of APC in kwara and that the party could not have sacrificed the soul of the party for any other offer

The phone conversation threw Senator Kahirat off radar as she was said to have locked herself inside her room for over 24hours in Abuja before phone calls from Governor Abdulrahaman could convince her to cheer up and expect another twist in the game .

*How Police Foiled Abdulrahaman's Attempt to Disrupt Kwara Inauguration*

When all hopes seems lost to block the inauguration of party's chairman in Abuja , the next action is to deploys local machineries in kwara to truncate inauguration of state , local government as well as wards excos of the party who of course will be taking instruction from Bolarinwa , the new sheriff .

The war seems not over as some hoodlums was reportedly deployed and tried to force themselves into the secretariat where the inauguration was taking place in order to disrupt and prevent the smooth running of the program. However , the men of Nigerian police who were on guard repelled their attempts . no doubt , they were same boys sent from government house to attack Bolarinwa in Shao town , Moro LGA few months back.

Fortunately for lovers of APC, the party chairman had successfully inaugurated all excos of the party from state to ward level all of those who are expected to act s caretaker executives pending the general Congress next year.

*Governor Mobilised Ward Chairmen with 50k for Hatchet Job*

Meanwhile, governor Abdulrahaman Abdulrazaq had summoned all the 193 ward Chairmen inaugurated by BOB to an emergency meetings shortly after their inauguration. But the Governor was disappointed again to see that out of 193 ward chairmen who received his invitation messages for the meeting , only 45 from Kwara north were able to honor the Governor's meetings .

The Governor could not hide his bad feelings as he openly told the Speaker , Hon Yakub Danladi who was in charge of his mobilisation that the number of chairmen who attended the meetings was not sufficient to execute his plan to hijack the party. Responding, the Speaker urged the Governor to give him another chance to reach out to more party officials in few days

Following the words of hopes from speaker , the Governor proceeded to the business of the day telling his guest what he wanted them to do for him with assurance of handsome rewards and patronage .

The Governor ordered immediate disbursement of fifty thousand naira #(50,000) for each of the attendees as a sign that he really means business. Each of the 45 ward Chairmen was handed 50k in front of the Governor.

A Governor who usually boast of not ready to share government money is now the one luring ward Chairmen with millions of naira taxpayer's fund .

*Luring with TIC Appointment*

The Governor proceeded by informing his guest that he would not be conducting Local government elections nor be appointing caretaker chairman for the councils until his mission to take over party's administration is fulfilled. One of the Chairmen who attended the meetings quoted the Governor as saying :

"Gentlemen, I want to start by assuring you that you are my people , you must go back home and woo your colleagues to this side so we can have the majority, I believe you can do this for us so that we can also do what we want to do to help you.

On the issue of local government or TIC constitution , no appointment or elections will take place until we are able to take our rightful place in that party . We own the party and we must take charge of it fully "

The Governor also talked about rewarding his loyalists with UBEC contracts that his administration is working towards .

"All of you should go out there and make biddings , all the contracts are for those who we see as our own , you will enjoy me once you are ready to cooperate with me fully . to us, loyalty is key , we won't tolerate half loyalty from anybody "

The Governor also informed his guest that the battle line is now drawn between him and the BOB led party noting that he would never rest until he showed BOB the way out of that party

Let me make it clear that the battle line has been drawn , I am ready to show them I am not weak and I am not a coward . I promise you all we will take over the party but you must do your bit by bringing your colleagues on board . I am not presently impressed with this turn out but I want to give yoy more chance to prove yourselves"

Some elders of the party from across the state have condemned the new path being toed by the Governor to noting that such action may destroy the fabric of the party .

Speaking to this medium on condition of anonymity ,an elder from Kwara north said the party will not condone any impunity from any quarters no matter who is involved

"We will not accept any action that will put our party in jeopardy, let it be known to all those who are scheming that BOB had been inaugurated and the executives of the party are now intact including those at the ward level "

*Kwara APC Stakeholders Applaud Bolarinwa's Appointment*

The Stakeholders of the Kwara state chapter of the ruling All Progressive Congress have applauded the appointment of Honorable Bashir Omolaja Bolarinwa as caretaker chairman by the Governor Buni-Led national caretaker committee last Friday in Abuja , the Federal capital territory .

The loyal party stakeholders appreciate and are full of praise to the Buni - led Committee for the appointment of Bolarinwa.
The party's stakeholders which comprises of the Honorable Minister of Information & Culture , Alh. The ugly incidences of corruption, ethnic favouritism, fiscal indiscipline, illicit posting of staff as well as mismanagement of polytechnic fund have continue unabated since appointment of Dr Abdul Jimoh Mohammed in 2019 despite several expositions by different quarters in the polytechnic.

The state owned Polytechnic, since the Rector got appointed had been in the news for series of negativities including Nepotistic war against some staff who are not from Ilorin and using his woman friend as acting Bursar of the school .

Although the Governor was said to have caused a panel of inquiry to be instituted to check into the activities at the state's owned institution but the efforts seems defeated as the Rector's overbearing influence on the Academic Board , conspiracy of the MOTEST Commissioner as well as cooperation of some topnoch staff who are beneficiaries of the rots had been aborting all efforts made at sanitising the system .

I *SPENDING ON FRIVOLOUS TRAVELINGS & WORKSHOPS*

Of mind boggling is the fresh revelation of withdrawal of another fifteen million by the Rector to prosecute unnecessary traveling and workshop in Abuja purposely crafted for his cronies to be compensated for their jobs well done .

Multiple inside source from the school told our Reporter that One of the beneficiaries of Abuja Traveling is the Assistant Chief Accountant , Mrs Monsurat , a level 13 staff and a rumoured "secret lover " of the Rector who was made the Acting Bursar following suspension of the substantial Polytechnic Bursar, Hajia Aisha Mohammed over frivolous issues

According to informant , the Acting Bursar, Mrs Monsurat who is rumoured to be in romantic affairs with the Rector was awarded Two million naira monetary benefit as her Training allowance and trip to Abuja.

Some staff who spoke on phone on condition of anonymity said apart from the fact that the said Monsurat has not yet reached the cadre attached with such benefit , the Rector just selected staff loyal to him and send them on frivolous trainings workshop in Abuja with the least person pocketing over Two hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira.

The staff also said the Rector is running the institution with crass lack of knowledge, incompetency and lack of requisite administrative skills requires to lead an academic institution such as Kwara Polytechnic .

"The Rector is seriously exhibiting incompetency and lack of administrative knowledge in his running of this school and such is very dangerous . How can Two million naira be given to a level 13 staff for frivolous training just because she is your woman friend doing your biddings at the expense of this institutions?"

"We are appalled because most of this fund being plundered by this Rector was not made by him, he met the fund as a result of hard works and fiscal discipline of the last administration, if those peoples are profligate as this, will he have met anything on ground ?

"The Governor despite his knowledge of atrocities of this Rector has refused to act because he believes he is shielding his kinsmen from Ilorin but when the chips are down , they will all blame themselves for not listening to our voices"- another staff laments

*FRAUDULENT WAIVE OF ABOUT #8MILLION TETFUND DEBT FOR HIS FRIEND WHO FAILED ON UK SCHOLARSHIP*

According to internal document obtained by this medium , one Engineer Yusuf Olanrewaju , a supposed ally of Rector who's also one of his informants around the polytechnic has been on debt running to about #7.5million in which the polytechnic management resolved that fifty thousand naira be deducted from his salary every month to offset the scholarship fund he is owing TETFUND.

The debt reportedly arose after the staff in question was granted a M.sc scholarship of about nine millions naira by TETFUND to study Transport Planning & Environment in one of the UK's Universities but he failed all tests and examinations and was withdrawn from the school for academic incompetence. His embarrassing failures made TETFUND wrote a memo to Kwara Polytechnic demanding refund of the fund committed to his scholarship since his failures to meet up with academic standards of the university is explicitly his own fault.

The school management in turn levied the refund on Engineer Yusuf Olanrewaju salaries and resolved that sum of #50,000 be deducted from his salaries pending when he completed the total refund of Seven Million, four hundreds and fifty thousand naira (#7,450,000) he is owing to Tetfund

The document reads in part :

"The TETFUND granted a scholarship of #8, 745,000 to Engineer Yusuf Olanrewaju to study MSC in University of Leed as part of Staff Training &Development . The staff failed to meet up with academic standards of the university and was withdrawn midway to his course . The TETFUND directed that the stuff must refund money spent on his traveling and academic without any result ."

The documents reads further

"Considering this directive, the management directed the Bursary to deduct the sum of #50,000 monthly from his salary as a refund of about #7,450,000 outstanding amount spent on his UK studies without result "

However, when Dr Abdul assumed duty as Rector , he was said to have found Engineer Yusuf Olanrewaju useful for some shady jobs and hence used his office to abruptly stop deductions from his salary and transfered the refund of the the debt to the polytechnic coffer contrary to Tetfund agreement with the institution .

Some senior staff of the polytechnic have expressed worries in the profligate manner the Rector in connivance with his allies use polytechnic fund for unreasonable adventures since his assumption of office .

"We are afraid , honestly most of the staff who are in the know of implications of what the Rector is doing are worry that the institution may soon go bankrupt if something urgent is not done "

"Imagine a staff who failed his scholarship and was meant to refund over eight million naira to Tetfund , the polytechnic had done well to make the repayment easy for him by asking him to pay fifty thousand naira monthly from his salary, but now , the Rector has put the refund on the school treasury , KP will now be refunding over 7million naira debt of one staff to Tetfund. Is that not extreme for a school that is self sustaining without input from government? "- said one of the staff who claimed he is not authorised to speak on the matter .

Meanwhile, the MOTEST Commissioner , Hajia Sa'adatu Moddibo Kawu has decried that there are incidences of corruption and mismanagement of fund in Kwara polytechnic adding that the government will not condone financial recklessness by management of Tertiary institutions

In her speech , she said

"I must also inform you that as a government, the present administration has discovered with sadness and serious disappointment, recent revelations coming out from our tertiary institutions, from the report of visitation panels constituted, and especially, that of the committee set up by the honourable commissioner a month ago, to investigate the alleged misappropriation and corruption in Kwara Polytechnic.

She dissociated herself from the illegal payment of Ten million naira to Globalwise Technology, a IT contractor brought by the Rector to replace Dallas Technology in managing the polytechnic E-portal .

Hajia Sa'adat Kawu Modibbo in her remarks declared that she was not a party to the shaddy deal,and that the decision to pay Globalwise was concealed from the ministry and her representative in the council, until it became public knowledge, and that for an institution that is not subvented, it was definitely not in the Interest of the state to have paid the new portal company much more, for doing half of the job since the old company, Dallas started the registration for the students.

This statement and others from the mouth of MOTEST Commissioner further confirmed all our articles earlier released to expose corruption, nepotism, fund mismanagement , contract scams and series of fraud happening in Kwara state polytechnics.

However, the MOTEST Commissioner aside from mere words of mouth has not provided any justification that can absorb her from culpability in the fraud conspiracy especially that of Kwara Polytechnic.

*APC Youth Network Cautions Abdulrazaq Against Elevation of Factional Groups above Party over TIC Appointments*



The APC Youths Network is displeased with the outcome of secret meetings between the Governor, Mallam Abdulrahaman Abdulrazaq and his core loyalists under various platforms such as AAP , AA-direct and AA-Frontiers they have been briefed, and marching order given by the Governor to ensure members of these factional groups emerge across the sixteen local government as Caretaker Chairmen except in Ilorin West which the Governor reserved exclusively for himself .



Disappointingly , Comrade Musbau Eshinrogunjo whom we all believe is one of our reliable youth standing firm with the party has suddenly compromised his altruism stand after been cajoled by Yahaya Seriki, Alhaji Ilyasu and Senator Makanjuola Ajadi to pitch tent with those who are hell bent on destroying all what the APC , a party which brought them to power stands for .



We wish to let Esinroguno realise that " the cat has been let out of the bag" we are in the know of hatchet job given to him by those he threatened to strangle yesterday and we will all wait for him to come out and execute his lethal message .



Esirogunjo as we speak has been fortified with huge cash by the Governor to work with some of his private militia and recruit armed thugs from other States to enforce this plan on stakeholders particularly supporters of Honorable ministers , Alhaji Lai Muhammed, Senator Gemisola Saraki , Party Chairman ( BOB) and other Stakeholders who may want to stand in their ways.



Part of the marching order given by Governor is that Supporters of Prof Oba Abdulraheem , Alh Hakeem Lawal , Lukman & Salhiu Mustapha, Mallam Gobir, Akogun Oyedepo and other prominent party leaders are to be alienated totally from the scheme of things .



This is in total semblance of the previous action while appointing members of his cabinet, the party was not consulted let alone have input in their nomination processes .

The implications of this is that if the Governor is allowed to get away with TIC appointments, those appointees will only be responsible to him .

Kwara APC sponsored armed thugs to disrupt fidau prayer for Baba Saraki - PDP


The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Kwara State has called for the prosecution of hired hoodlums who attempted to disrupt the 8th year Fidau prayer held in honour of late Dr Abubakar Olushola Saraki in Ilorin on Saturday.

In a statement issued by the State Publicity of the party, Tunde Ashaolu, the party accused the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, of sponsoring hoodlums to disorganise the prayer session and attack innocent people who attended the occasion.

The party noted that if not for the quick intervention of security operatives, the armed thugs would have succeeded with their evil mission and that more casualties would have been recorded.

"We wish to place it on record that the APC is responsible for the ugly and unfortunate incident that played today out at venue of the prayer session held in honour of the late political icon of Kwara, Dr Abubakar Olusola Saraki. Before today's event, we saw on social media platforms leaked screenshots of a WhatsApp conversation, where an appointee of Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq instructed some thugs to unleash attack and cause chaos at the venue of the programme.

"Acting on the instruction of the Governor's aide, the armed hoodlums stormed the venue of the fidau prayer and attempted to disrupt the programme and attack innocent people. If not for the quick intervention of the security operatives who were on ground, the armed thugs would have succeeded with their evil mission and more casualties would have been recorded.

"We are therefore amused by the futile attempt by the confused spokesperson of the Kwara APC to re-write the narrative. The APC is obviously not happy that the prayer session was a success and that its mission to disrupt the occasion and unleash mayhem on attendees failed. They were also rattled by the visit of the Former Senate President, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki and the rousing welcome he received on his arrival to Ilorin.

"The images of patients on hospital beds shared online by the rabble-rouser Kwara APC PRO are people who were involved in an accident this morning under the bridge at Gerri Alimi, and then taken to the General Hospital, Ilorin, for treatment. Some of them are even supporters of our party.

"We call on security agencies in the State to conduct proper investigation into this matter and ensure that all those who are connected with the incident are brought to book.

"Again, we want to reiterate that the invasion of the venue of the prayer session by armed thugs was coordinated by an appointee of Governor Abdulrazaq, who has been notorious for organising hoodlums to cause mayhem in the State since his boss came to power.

"It would be recalled that it was this same appointee that coordinated thugs who recently attacked labour leaders at the Labour House, Ilorin. He also coordinated the thugs who barricaded entrance of the Kwara State Internal Revenue Service, KWIRS, during the workers' strike.

"It should also be noted that the security situation in Kwara has been on the decline since Governor Abdulrahman took over. Cases of Kidnap for ransom, cult clashes, robberies and shop burglary have been on the rise in recent months. These are matters the Governor should be concerned with."

Who is Afraid of Saraki's Presence in Kwara?

The former President of the Senate, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki returned to Nigeria yesterday amidst fanfare as cheerful loyalists of the Waziri Ngeri of Ilorin Emirate took various social media platforms to celebrate his arrival.

Contrary to the fake news peddles by a faceless person, to dent the name of the former president of the 8th Senate, Saraki was never admitted in any hospital on malaria or any related COVID-19 symptoms in the Netherlands or any part of the world.

It's sad how people have become creative with fake news to the extent of simulating a scenario in their heads with the sole aim of misleading the public. Quoting an unnamed governor already shows the intent of the fake news peddler.

What the person did is simply "libel" which could land anybody in prison if pursued legally.

The former Senate President returned back to Nigeria, hale and hearty, and was in a cheerful mood as seen in the video that has gone viral online. He also complied with COVID-19 protocols at the airport.


Whoever is afraid of Saraki's presence should calm their nerves. Saraki is not the judge of the performance of the present administration in Kwara but the people, hence, there is no point in feeling threatened by his return to Nigeria.

Saraki as a major stakeholder in Kwara State and in Nigeria polity, can visit the State any time and make comments on any issue.

Saraki has, on his own volition, given Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq enough time and space to deliver on his campaign promises without having to look behind his back at all times.

Why must anybody be disturbed by the fear that Saraki's presence in the country constitutes a threat to their 'enjoyment' and maladministration?

Another Attempt to Remove BOB Fails as Angry APC Excos Boo Gov Abdulrahaman out of Kwara Hotel*


Another plot to remove the Kwara APC Chairman, Hon. Bashir Omolaja Bolarinwa by men working for Governor Abdulrahaman Abdulrazaq today hit brick wall as angry party excos attacked one of the loyalists of the Governor who was billed to read out the suspension letter to the unsuspecting audience invited to Kwara hotel for a parley organised by thr Governor.

The Governor and some of his apologists had invited party stalwarts to a parley at Kwara hotel in a bid to reduce attention and focus of party members from a program earlier organised by the minister of Information and culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed who is also having a program at kwara hotel tomorrow .

Unknown to most of the invited party officials and guests including Honorable Bashir Bolarinwa who was also physically present at the parley, the Governor had plotted a sinister arrangements with some of his few loyalists within the party to take advantage of the parley and effect removal of Bolarinwa from office as party chairman .

And in a dramatic manner which caught every attendees wondering, one Pastor Abel Adewunmi from oko ward of Irepodun LGA, a renowned loyalists mounted the podium as if he wanted to make presentation but on getting to the podium, picked up a written paper and began to make pronouncement on suspension of the chairman .

However, the feasibly irated mob did not allow pastor Abel to read up to four lines from the booklet before he was violently mobbed and dispossessed of the leaflets and pushed out of the hall right in front of his sponsors.

The crowd was heard chanting "What's the meaning of this nonsense? You cannot suspend our Chairman as they approach the sponsored presenter .

As if that was not enough, the Governor was also thereafter booed as party stalwarts chants Ramoni Ole! Ramoni Oole!! Ramoni Oole!!! while the Governor tried to escape from being chocked inside the highly charged hall of kwara hotel .

Some of the party elders were also seeing pointing angrily toward the Governor and saying Ramoni you are betrayal, you have done the abominable and you will be disgraced out of this state .

Meanwhile, majority of the party stakeholders including excos have expressed disappointment on what they described as attempt by the Governor to take over the party using force . Some of the party officials who spoke to our correspondent said this is not the first time Abdulrahaman has been failing in his mission but this one caught then unaware and that like the previous attempts , this is another failed coup .

"Let me tell you Abdulrahaman cannot lord himself over us in the party , he should continue to lord over those who are feeding from him but majority of us won't betray our party because of porridge. Its unfortunate when we thought the war is over , the Governor who is supposed to sue for peace is the one creating violence in the state but we can assure you he has failed again because Honorable Bashir Omolaja Bolarinwa remains our Chairman and no amount of his plot an remove him "

"The chairman of the party was not elected in kwara hotel , hence he cannot be removed in that place ,all these are mere political jokes take too far " he said

We recall that Governor Abdulrahaman Abdulrazaq has made several attempts at hijacking the party and sack the chairman but all to no avail . When he could not obtain require supports of the executives towards achieving his mission , he bought over few party excos such ad Folaranmi Aro, the partys state publicity Secretary, Alhaji Ilyasu from Moro who is helping the Governor to coordinate his factions in the party such as AAP , Rev Abel Adewunmi who was sponsored to move the motion and host of others.

The Governor also sidelined the party entirely in the selection of his political appointees as the party has have no input in the formation of the state executive team which was solely that of the Governors decision . obviously, the Governor has played so much divisive roles during the covid 19 Palliative distribution when he only recognised his own pseudo structures AAP, AAG , AAdirect for patronage while ignoring the party which brought him to power.

Infact, an attempt was made against BOB life when he was in Shao for a party functions earlier this year but the Chairman and his entourage was lucky to have a narrow escape while their vehicles are vandalised by politically sponsored hoodlums

We also have it on grapevine that the Governor has directed his private militia to launch violent attacks on BOB residence this night and ensure all those loyal to him among the party's excos are also targets for attacks overnight . Some of the names listed for such attacks include one Mr Williams Adeleye ( SA to minister Lai Mohammed , Alh Gani Zubair and others loyal to the Minister who are in Ilorin presently ahead of a program tomorrow

It is our believe that the security agencies in the state will caution the Governor and warn him against relegating the state to a political war zone even when election is still in 2023.

IlorinLooting: The Price of Kwara Governor’s Inaction*

When they say information is power, ask those that hoarded vital information from you or failed to take a step as in the case of Kwara government when they had actionable intelligence on the coordinated attack on Shoprite and other establishments what they did with their power. These are the dilemmas of taxpayers.

The unfortunate incident at Palms Mall which houses Shoprite amongst many other businesses, including KFC, Dominoes Pizza, Femtech and even commercial bank branches is not based on lack of capacity but technicalities and slow decision making by the government.

It is important to note that nothing new will be significant if past legacies are not sustained. Most importantly, present realities have invalidated claims that many establishments such as Shoprite belong to Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki.

Someone needs to tell the Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq administration that one may be “efficient” and not be “effective” - if a conscious and careful mind is not channelled towards the process of decision making. There is nothing exceptional about setting out for new records if the good legacies of those before him can't be sustained and protected.

Establishments such as Shoprite are the product of the undeniable efforts of the Saraki led administration and such inaction only point to one fact, it is not about the state, it is about anything that smells of Saraki can be destroyed. Such an establishment where the State have investment regardless of who facilitated it must be protected at all costs. This kind of decisions make the State prone to danger and discourage investors from investing in Kwara where properties can’t be secured. Regrettably, it is a bad image for us all.

The act was first executed by coordinated thugs who created civil unrest which boosted the confidence of other people to loot private businesses. The government could have curbed it especially when they had actionable intelligence, it is better than the "virility obsession" approach by the Governor.

In an irresponsible statement credited to one of the appointees of the Governor where he credited Dr Saraki as leader of the looters only shows the government is delusional about the reality of things. There is poverty in the State. It is a reality the State Government must address and draw a combative policy that will reduce and manage the social and financial distress the people are experiencing.

It is unfortunate that when the government is making policies that are supposed to address a particular problem and turns out not only to be ineffective but also painfully counterproductive and catastrophic. As sad as it may appear, the Government must note that its social investment policy is not suppressive enough and restrategize. The mindset of the government on the social investment programme doesn't in any way showcase that of someone who wants to create wealth in the State but rather an establishment of ideological poverty which the scorecard is evident with the recent looting in the State. The approach insults the sense of creation and intention of the administration drivers when they sincerely ask themselves the kind of expectation they have from such investments.

Government is supposed to have a framework that will properly address poverty in the state. Every government that comes on board; it is believed that they are clear of their purpose. It is to address problems that made the society unstable, find solutions or formulate policies that widely manage the situation. At this point, any personal displeasure about the previous administration should not be an excuse to abandon responsibility. If the government continues to give room for assumptions and theatrical analysis of events, it will consequentially lead to suspicion, squandering of goodwill and confidence on the part of the government.

This kind of inaction is bizarre in the state and it is best government amends its mistake, takes responsibility and act appropriately. No government allows looting with the hope of replacing looted items and restraining the use of security operatives based on brutality. That is not a "reason" but "excuse" to pacify their conscience. Which "causalities" did they prevent in the end?

Is it the millions that private business owners lost to the looters that's not a "casualty"? Digging on such an annoying statement and excuse only means the "inaction" of the government is intentional?

Conclusively, the sudden change of gear by the government to use the promised five hundred million naira (N500 million) as loan rather than the well circulated grant for the affected business owners shows lack of sincerity. This is a pointer to lack of confidence and trust in the administration. The Government, under Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, must do all it takes to ensure they reinvest their confidence on them.

All may not have been heard of the corruption scandals that have been trailing kwara state polytechnics as fresh allegations of ethnic favouritism , extortions and embezzlements have been leveled against the Rector , Dr Abdul Jimoh Mohammed

Recall that this medium revealed some sharp practices in the institution involving high profiled individuals ranging from the Rector to the MOTEST Commissioner and some members of polytechnic board. Following this exposition, the ICPC had commenced investigation into series of corrupt practices said to be ongoing in the state owned polytechnics but the investigation is grossly influenced and not exhaustive as the Rector, the Commissioner for Tertiary Institution, Messr Moddibo Kawu , some board members etc are not enlisted in the investigation despite their individual roles in several shady dealings.

*Overstretching Polytechnics financial Capacity*

Another allegation made against the Rector and the MOTEST Commissioner is the overstretching of the polytechnic financial muscle to oil their own personal interests . Financial experts had on several occasions advised that the polytechnic financial capacity cannot cope with handling a Microfinance Bank but the Rector have started making fund withdrawals running into millions of naira to launch a microfinance bank .

Just 2 weeks back , about fifty million Naira was withdrawn from polytechnic account without following any financial protocols to fund a microfinance bank establishment. There was also another multiple #10million withdrawals last week for similar purpose by the Rector.

Some polytechnic staff hold the believe that the MOTEST Commissioner is cashing into the inexperience and incapacitated of the Rector and Council chairman to use them achieving her sinister agenda in the school . According to some of the staff who do not want their names mentioned, the MOTEST Commissioner now sees the polytechnic as her only conduit pipe where she's raking in millions to meet her flamboyant lifestyles since her husband who is used to spoonfeed thr family with public fund had been sacked at NBC for engaging in illicit activities.

*How the Rector Fraudulently Reinstated Salary of Suspended Staff When Investigation was still ongoing*

Fresh allegations of staff favoritism and breach of polytechnic rules have also been leveled against the Rector. According to some aggrieved staff who confided in this medium , the case involved one Mr AbdulGaneey Olanrewaju fondly called "Baba Dudu" , a staff at Bursary department who according to information was suspended and recommended for investigation for absenting himself from office for a period of over six months without any notice or approval from authority.

Baba Dudu after his suspension was said to be serving as a spy and a secret informant who tells the Rector and Motest Commissioner everything any staff said behind him which allows the duo to know who to treat as friends or enemy among the staff . Infact , Rumour has it that Baba Dudu has a hand in recommendation of the Rector woman's friend as acting Bursar who was introduced to do the bidding of thr Rector and Motest Commissioner, Messr Moddibo Kawu.

Surprisingly, Baba Dudu who is still under trials for absconding from his duty has suddenly gotten all his withheld Salaries reinstated when the investigation was still ongoing . The Rector having successfully hijacked the Bursary and Account departments of the institution is now using those offices to water his personal egos. The Rector and MOTEST Commissioner who are both satisfied with the spy works of Baba Dudu had both instructed the acting Bursar to sign for his salary arrears to be paid immediately. Some Polytechnic staff who confided in this medium expressed great worries at the conducts of the Rector who they described as treating Baba Dudu grievous offences with deodorant while subjecting other staff who are not in his good book to untold hardships.

As at the time of gathering this report , this medium confirmed that the Salary arrears of the erring staff had been paid fully to his account while his trial is still not concluded. The job is said to be easy for the duo since all Council disciplinary committee members are from Ilorin , Baba Dudu six months absence from work might have been settled using ethnic favouritism without considering the gross implications on the schools image .

*Handwritten Document Revealed How Rector , Council Members and Motest Commissioner Share loots*

During the cause of investigation , we also received a handwritten paper which detailed how some prominent individuals are sharing an undisclosed amount suspected to have been extorted from students

According to the document , four hundred naira was deducted from each students and shared among some individuals which involved the Commissioner for Tertiary Education, Mesrs Modibbo Kawu, wife of erstwhile NBC DG who was suspended for allegedly defrauding the organisation of #2.5Billion .

The documents revealed the MOTEST Commissioner and the Rector got N2,500,000 each while the board Chairman was shared N1,500,000. Board members and other principal officers who in the know of the arrangements were given N1,000,000 as their take homes.

Meanwhile , the Rector and other principal officers have now perfected the contract agreement for Globawise Technology , the new consultant handling E-transaction on behalf of the polytechnic. Recall that we earlier reported payment of Ten million naira monthly to Globalwise Technology for a projects already executed by disengaged consultant.

It is nor yet clear whether the ICPC will extend its investigation to all other high profiled staff such as the Rector and his allies but the ICPC is already beaming its searchlight into the actions and inactions of some top management staff in order to stamp out corruption in the institution.

Other properties marked according to this list include the House of Honorable Bashir Omolaja Bolarinwa, APC Chairman located in Ilorin, Altruism office of Comrade Musbau Eshinrogunjo located around Odota area of Ilorin which came last on the list .

The hoodlums who are majorly drafted from Ondo and Ekiti state have been sectioned into about 5 groups each consisting of 5 young boys and a team lead.

Apart from properties that are targets of these hired gangs , we have it on good records that some politically exposed persons, opposition members within the APC and those who are disgruntled with the Governor are also marked for subsequent attacks.

While we are convinced some elements in Abdulrazaqs government who feed on chaotic situations are selling this ill advice to His Excellency, Governor Abdulrahaman Abdulrazaq so as to create a public distraction from the ongoing Workers requests for minimum wages in the state, our believe as an organisation is that the SA domestic and his gangs are ready to take advantage of the ongoing reports of pandemonium happening in many parts of the country and the multiplicative effects of the multifaced crisis to effect an attacks on those perceived as holding opposing views to the Governor.

We want to appeal to Governor Abdulrahaman Abdulrazaq to not allow his referred office to be used for actions that can set the state on fire as the country is tensed already and any attempt to take advantage of the tense situation to get at dissenting voices may result to situation that may span out of the control of Government. We believe this period should not be used for political vendetta rather an opportunity for those in office to maintain peace and tranquility for the general progress of kwara state .

We want to seize this opportunity call on all security agencies in the state to stand and live up to their responsibilities by safeguarding lives and properties of citizens both political and non politically exposed persons in the state throughout this period .
