kestolove95:Its quite unfortunate that this is the best way you can interpret this information, very third world and myopic view. |
subterfuge:My friend, Please the lives of these people is not a tray on which you present your political inclinations. When terrorists carry out there actions in civilized societies, no one and I repeat NO ONE uses it as a platform for politicking, but you rather see them rise up together and act in an organised and sensible manner to defend and protect their territories. But am surprised that instead of our politicians and the electorate (which includes you) to work in unison to end this senselessness, they rather use it as a platform to present an agenda. May God help us the electorates |

Ikwokrikwo:If this is what Buhari has said then I dont see in him a solution for Nigeria's problems. All I see as I listen to his comments are further division, tribalism, bigotry, and a blatant support for EVIL. Everyone knows that bokoharam was offered amnesty, where invited for dialogue severally, where extended kindness for which President Goodluck was criticized, and they turned it down but rather chose to kill without remorse. The Niger delta militant didn't bomb places of worship, neither did they kill people at the market places or kill innocent students in secondary schools or universities. Rather than proffer solutions to Nigeria as a whole, what this old man chose to do is to trade blame. Well, old dogs cant learn new tricks Nigerians beware, for their is no solution in this man. |
Truckpusher:I like how you have clearly put your points forward. One of the problems we have with a great majority of Nigerians is that they don't pause to ask questions. Like you have clearly said, vested interests are at work but they forget too soon. Obj should remember how God brought him out of Jail and put him on the throne but now he has become a god that decides. God is watching. |
Ibnsultan:This is not a great excuse for such a religiously polarized comment but you still have a lot of typing space for more excuses. |
musaibnabdul:Your statement is hugely lacking in substance, knowledge and most of all evidence. |
When Babangida took millions of dollars to suport Organisation of Islamic Countries(OIC) nobody talked about the sensibilities of Christians being insulted. When the same Babangida joined Nigeria to OIC, the sensibilities of Christians was not talked about. Now, because Jonathan has visited isreal the sensibilities of muslims are insulted. This is wickedness and hypocrisy. Look, they have a firm belief that Nigeria is an islamic country(in there mind because of our membership with OIC) and should have nothing to do with Isreal, but unfortunately we have a christian president who will rule untill God says otherwise, so they should learn to endure in patience and tolerance like we Christians endured. |
diluminati:Where he is from does not matter, because greed, the love of money and vanity is universal. |
isick:Thank you for that comment. |
soloafe:How is he a thief? does bringing evidences forward to support a claim or to accuse another person make you a thief? |
soroptimist:First of all, I need a list of tangible facts that touches on economic, political issues based on which we can come out and make a claim for Buhari. This is not the 1980's. This is not the military regime, where you use force to rule and then you term it as a pedigree, things don't work that way anymore, we are in a democratic arena. We need a politician who can deliver results to Nigerians as a whole, a true democrat who understands politicking, not someone who champions the north's desperate need of power. We need people who have applied economic strategies with proven tangible results in today's democratic setting, not someone who relies on BOGUS PHANTOM records of almost 3 decades ago to win electorate votes. We need a person who has the whole of Nigeria at heart, not a person who build political parties that already display their RELIGIOUS SENTIMENT AND SKEWED IDEOLOGY. In the last election he (BUHARI) felt he did not need the south south and south east, because that is his ideology, well he saw the result. To confirm the proverb that says ''you can't teach an old dog new tricks'', he is repeating the same mistake and hasn't learnt anything new simply because he thinks he has the NAME as you say. Surely I have not seen anything worthy of him becoming the ruler of this country. And by the way from where I stand, FASHOLA has more Capacity,Economic and Political Strategy, to rule this country than Buhari can dream of. |
soroptimist:Please share Buhari's pedigree with us. |
After looking at this level of weaponry, I can only say that bokoharam has lasted this long simply because of internal sabotage and political influence of certain people who have special interest. |
repogirl:It's a shame that to you, beauty should only be skin deep and as such should be highly rewarded over brilliance. |
patrickdarlins:Pls don't just call him names, give us credible facts to support your argument. Resorting to name calling in my opinion is the weakest form of self expression. This is a forum pls express your self more intellectually. |
fkaz: That is a lie, check the atecedent of those party that make-up APC party since 2007, non of them as pick a southern presidential candidate since 2007? Or if ya'ardua is still alive, would you describe PDP as a child born out of influence, to influence power of the North over south? So why can't the north leave fashola the presidential ticket? because as it stands fashola is a very promising candidate. Am sure if he comes out the southwest will unanimously vote him and the north should at least give him backing on religious grounds but this is not happening because APC is a northern strategy to power. Take it or leave it. |
The answer is simple. APC is a child born out of the influence of the North over the south with the sole aim of bringing the North to power. Any thing other than this, APC would not have been born. So if Fashiola gets the presidential ticket the north (being the influencing power over the south) will benefit nothing from this. Hence fashiola (at least for now) cannot be presented as the APC presidential flag bearer. |
ProfCorruption: Aganga is one of the greatest liars on earth.Pls provide reasonable evidence or facts for such an accusation. |
mikeansy: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_automobile_manufacturersThank you sir. It amazes me how some people just come out to say things without getting there facts right and funny enough some other people just click like on such statements without fact finding. My question is who is worse amongst them both? |
oshyno: Op I just called the owner/Rep of STRIKER SECURITY and registered my displeasure. About their nonchalant attitutde towards the murder of their staff and gave him a subtle treat if they refuse to do the right thing.I appreciate your practical approach to this issue. Its this kind of attitude that we need to issues of such nature in Nigeria. May God continue to bless you. |
when i read the below statement that tinubu made, "He said rather than promote religious tolerance and harmonious living, Jonathan’s government believes its electoral chances are enhanced by promoting ethnic ism, internal divisions and religious suspicion but “successful nations are not built this way, have we not learned the lesson that we paid the high price of civil war to learn.” I find it funny coming from the chieftain of a political party whose leadership structure and statements epitomizes the words RELIGIOUS SUSPICION and INTERNAL DIVISIONS |
omenka: Lair!! They are funded by men in Jonathan's innermost circle!! #Fact. Please can you back up your accusation with well built up facts and evidences, instead of very loose and ambiguous statements? |
daveP: i stopped to look @ party for years now. Look@ d candidate. Why- they cross carpet alot(funny reason)Even the candidate find it difficult to perform outside the interests of the party. |
Later someone will come to tell us that APC is the Party that will bring the political change that Nigeria needs. |
dhardline: Waste of resources. Why did you make this statement? |
when it comes to this game of right or wrong I prefer to keep my opinion to myself. One thing is for sure, Nigerians are only realizing the challenges and responsibilities of a market lead economy. In such a scenario, things including education are expensive. Its unfortunate that corruption has lead to the failure of the public sector, but the problem is Nigerians don't seem to understand this. Our Government in Nigeria cannot give us the quality of education we need in this contemporary world. Thus the private sector must come in. Now Lets face it, it costs a lot to run a private university. When you factor the cost of acquiring the premises, the building structures, the equipment's necessary for a conducive learning environment, and all this must meet contemporary educational standards (in other to keep the school competitive) not to talk of the cost of staffing such a university with professionals (both locally and internationally), you will agree with me that for a private individual the cost is gigantic. I know its hard, but we loss so much on corruption and on careless living. I heard that we spent billions every year just to buying human hair. We must all brace up, the market economy is not easy but it will help in reducing corruption and bring us the much needed development we need. |
sexzskil: Looking at this scam called Christianity critically, the intelligent in mind will not find it hard in anyway to decipher that it is the greatest mind control tool in history. Free Masons who have conducted this religion since the beginning of times really planned and predicted how everything was to be. One of such is that this religion will be used to keep a future continent called Africa busy while the ''real'' elites of the world continue to work in the fulfilment of prophesies they have penned down in this ancient mystery, cult-created text which would latter be named the ''Bible''. Constantine came on the scene, several thousands of years later, and perfected the work in form of the ''gone and coming'' Christs, according to the instruction passed to him in the MITHRAIC cannon, through various spiralling links.Sometimes it marvels me the way people adopt an ideology (which say Christianity was coined by tricksters) simply because its popular, but they forget that popularity of an ideology does'nt mean its always correct way to think of an issue in that manner. According to the OP's post, especially the part in bold letters, she suggests that intelligent people are the ones who quickly decipher Christianity as a scam. I would like to present the view that ''deciphering Christianity as a scam'' is not a measure of intelligence, especially when you have not carried out a personally honest, and an open minded research on Christianity which examine's CRITICAL EVIDENCE not just as a religion but as a belief. To come online and then make a statement based on hear say or on popular opinion or on a weak intellectual analysis, is baseless. If you ask the OP how she come up with this idea that ''Christianity has been conducted by Free masons from the beginning'' and that ''the religion will be used to keep a future continent called Africa busy while the real elites of the world continue to work in the fulfillment of prophesies'', we all will be shocked, because already her statements lack coherence making it difficult to draw out a balanced argument (am not even touching the evidences on which she is basing her statements). My dear permit me to digress a bit. Africa is where it is not because of the white man and his religion, but because we choose to allow Greed and foolishness to rule our hearts and we have refused to take personal responsibility of our destiny as a continent, rather, we chose to escape our irresponsibility by blaming the white man. The far-east Asian continent (China, Japan, south korea, singapore, hongkong, and indonesia) as a continent accepted responsibility and they broke the whatever shackles that was set to limit them. Hence, your ideology and your attempt to use Christianity as the white-mans tool of subjugation, just to justify your atheist ideology, is baseless. |
cole265: You are confused. Its his opinion, why use such words? are you in the government to be sure that your un-confused opinion is the correct one? You would have just gone ahead to quote him and state your argument and let him see the issue from another perspective without being insulting about it. |
Guyman02: The reality is that most people in Abuja actually live a fake life. Since I got posted to this town, I realised that my salary only pays my rent and put food on my table. No savings anymore, in Portharcourt I stayed in a 3 bedroom spacious apartment with less than the amount I am paying in Abuja for a one bedroom flat. Sometimes I feel stuck, I cant just quit my job without an alternative. Contracts are only for the really connected people.Bother your words are the truth. The soullessness of Abuja has a direct relationship with the activities of the individual resident in it. "Nigeria is bad, Nigeria is bad" its the individuals that make it so. Greed in an individual looks pretty harmless, but in a lot of people living in one place at a particular time, it becomes a monster. Tell me the Sense in this, you buy a house, you will not live in the house, you will not rent the house out, No one will live in the house, you die without your family knowing of the property, you sell the property for peanuts yet people are slaving to pay for just one room. May God show mercy on humanity. |
dryakson: If the op no b Linda Ikeja, make una carry gun shoot me.... Chaii another advertising.....My brother listen, what seun is doing and what linda is doing are two different things. However, I know there are things to learn from this topic that would help seun decide on how to better build a more beneficial, community development focused and profitable nairaland. I humbly think the op just pointed out areas that needs seun's attention to enable nairaland become formidable force on social issues. |
omenka: Oritsejafor the gunrunner busted yesterday, bomb goes off today!!! Do the math!!Why use such an event (that deserves to be FIRST CONDEMNED) as a platform to suggest what you have not personally investigated. what do you benefit by trying to whip-up political or religious sentiments with this event? We as Nigerians should all stand together against this act of barbaric savagery. Those are peoples brothers, sisters, children, husbands and wives with a future and have been innocently slaughtered. You did not condemn this evil, but you are rather making insinuations. Perhaps you have an evil interest in this. |
