Politics / Re: Stop Killing Boko Haram Members - Buhari Tells Fg by Kelly32: 8:24pm On Dec 02, 2014
Ikwokrikwo:

Presidential candidate for the Congress for Progressive Change in the 2011 Presidential election, Maj.-Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd), has frowned on the emergency rule in parts of the North. He alleged that innocent civilians were being killed in the states. Buhari speaking during a Liberty FM Hausa Service Programme, Guest of the Week, on Sunday in Kaduna said that Boko Haram members were being killed and their houses demolished unlike the “special treatment” given to the Niger Delta militants by the Federal Government Buhari, who also blamed President Goodluck Jonathan for failing to tackle the security problems in the country, argued that the challenges started in the Niger Delta. He said, “What is responsible for the security situation in the country is caused by the activities of Niger Delta militants. “Every Nigerian that is familiar with happenings knows this. The Niger Delta militants started it all. What happened is that the governors of the Niger Delta at that time wanted to win their elections, so they recruited youths and gave guns and bullets to them to use against their opponents to win elections by force. “After the elections, they asked the boys to return the guns, and the boys refused to do so. Because of that the allowance that was being given to them by the governors was stopped.” Buhari said his joining the proposed All Progressives Congress was not all about securing the party presidential ticket for the 2015 elections. According to him, the formation of the APC and his joining the group is to help effect the needed change in the polity and not just about his presidential ambition. He declared, “If APC fails to give me the ticket, I will remain in partisan politics and in the party. Anyone the party picks as its candidate, I will support him because I will remain in the APC.” Besides, Buhari noted that the problem of the country was that of bad leadership, which the APC was out to change.

If this is what Buhari has said then I dont see in him a solution for Nigeria's problems. All I see as I listen to his comments are further division, tribalism, bigotry, and a blatant support for EVIL.

Everyone knows that bokoharam was offered amnesty, where invited for dialogue severally, where extended kindness for which President Goodluck was criticized, and they turned it down but rather chose to kill without remorse.
The Niger delta militant didn't bomb places of worship, neither did they kill people at the market places or kill innocent students in secondary schools or universities. Rather than proffer solutions to Nigeria as a whole, what this old man chose to do is to trade blame. Well, old dogs cant learn new tricks Nigerians beware, for their is no solution in this man.
Politics / Re: Revealed: Why Obasanjo Is Fighting Jonathan by Kelly32: 7:55pm On Dec 02, 2014
Truckpusher:
These are the things that most gullible Nigerians don't know about in the polity.
The call to drop Sambo is being pioneered by the core North and Obasanjo for an unfriendly bedfellow whose loyalty lies with the old political heavy weights and order, but Jonathan is finding it very hard to boot out a man that has remained loyal and respectful despite the rhetoric coming out from the North for just no excuse and he knew that these could cost him a reasonable portion of voters confidence considering the fact that sentiments for Sambo would grow if he decides to dump the party and join the another party or even the APC.

The North's and the old order's constant call to drop Sambo has been one of Jonathan's too many sins against Obasanjo and his band of strange bedfellows mostly from the North and their promise was an absolute victory against every opposition, deliver the North to Jonathan and a clear road map in helping him to rein in boko haram by involving all the major stakeholders that knew who and who is running the real and the political boko haram, but Jonathan so far have refused to be blackmailed, hence the chaos and those that knew about how to solve the boko haram problem kept their plans to themselves and watch while the country spiral out of control under Jonathan.I guess they still have their plan B but we are waiting.

Do you think that people like Asari and co are just making threats over nothing - There are people in this country that wants to decide what policies the President can make and the ones he dare not touch because to them Nigeria is their farm and everyone else their slave.

People might be asking why would they want to change Sambo and replace him with somebody like Lamido?
The reasons are simple; Sambo is independent of the old bloc and has refused them to use his office as a launching pad in controlling the policies of Jonathan hence he is not loyal and they needed to boot him out and put in their own man that would serve as their mouth, eyes and ear - Everything boils down to greed and personal selfish interest.

The old bloc wants Nigeria back at all cost and in their quest to achieve this they are doing everything possible to frustrate this administration but God is watching.

I like how you have clearly put your points forward. One of the problems we have with a great majority of Nigerians is that they don't pause to ask questions.
Like you have clearly said, vested interests are at work but they forget too soon. Obj should remember how God brought him out of Jail and put him on the throne but now he has become a god that decides. God is watching.

When Babangida took millions of dollars to suport Organisation of Islamic Countries(OIC) nobody talked about the sensibilities of Christians being insulted. When the same Babangida joined Nigeria to OIC, the sensibilities of Christians was not talked about. Now, because Jonathan has visited isreal the sensibilities of muslims are insulted. This is wickedness and hypocrisy.
Look, they have a firm belief that Nigeria is an islamic country(in there mind because of our membership with OIC) and should have nothing to do with Isreal, but unfortunately we have a christian president who will rule untill God says otherwise, so they should learn to endure in patience and tolerance like we Christians endured.

Whereas you have a Buhari who even without anyone holding his hand is sure to garner btw 12-15million votes even if elections were 2b held 2moro on his own personal name

A man who wants to become a President in Nigeria should have a street credibility and one-chance popularity in which even his opponents know about

And as Nigeria is presently constituted with all the rice, kerosene, indomie, sugar and elubo being shared to buy voters, only Gen Muhammadu Buhari remains the only one that can get pure and unadulterated votes which runs into millions against a saTAN backed GEJ who is sitting on Billion dollars of Crude Oil money which he is willing to spend to the last kobo in order to retain the Presidency

First of all, I need a list of tangible facts that touches on economic, political issues based on which we can come out and make a claim for Buhari.

This is not the 1980's. This is not the military regime, where you use force to rule and then you term it as a pedigree, things don't work that way anymore, we are in a democratic arena. We need a politician who can deliver results to Nigerians as a whole, a true democrat who understands politicking, not someone who champions the north's desperate need of power.

We need people who have applied economic strategies with proven tangible results in today's democratic setting, not someone who relies on BOGUS PHANTOM records of almost 3 decades ago to win electorate votes. We need a person who has the whole of Nigeria at heart, not a person who build political parties that already display their RELIGIOUS SENTIMENT AND SKEWED IDEOLOGY.

In the last election he (BUHARI) felt he did not need the south south and south east, because that is his ideology, well he saw the result. To confirm the proverb that says ''you can't teach an old dog new tricks'', he is repeating the same mistake and hasn't learnt anything new simply because he thinks he has the NAME as you say. Surely I have not seen anything worthy of him becoming the ruler of this country.

And by the way from where I stand, FASHOLA has more Capacity,Economic and Political Strategy, to rule this country than Buhari can dream of.

fkaz:

That is a lie, check the atecedent of those party that make-up APC party since 2007, non of them as pick a southern presidential candidate since 2007? Or if ya'ardua is still alive, would you describe PDP as a child born out of influence, to influence power of the North over south?

So why can't the north leave fashola the presidential ticket? because as it stands fashola is a very promising candidate. Am sure if he comes out the southwest will unanimously vote him and the north should at least give him backing on religious grounds but this is not happening because APC is a northern strategy to power. Take it or leave it.

Politics / Re: Why Can't APC Present Fashola As Presidential Candidate by Kelly32: 10:12am On Oct 03, 2014
The answer is simple. APC is a child born out of the influence of the North over the south with the sole aim of bringing the North to power. Any thing other than this, APC would not have been born. So if Fashiola gets the presidential ticket the north (being the influencing power over the south) will benefit nothing from this. Hence fashiola (at least for now) cannot be presented as the APC presidential flag bearer.

Education / Re: Oyedepo Defends Fees Charged By Private Universities by Kelly32: 4:24pm On Sep 21, 2014
when it comes to this game of right or wrong I prefer to keep my opinion to myself. One thing is for sure, Nigerians are only realizing the challenges and responsibilities of a market lead economy. In such a scenario, things including education are expensive. Its unfortunate that corruption has lead to the failure of the public sector, but the problem is Nigerians don't seem to understand this. Our Government in Nigeria cannot give us the quality of education we need in this contemporary world. Thus the private sector must come in.

Now Lets face it, it costs a lot to run a private university. When you factor the cost of acquiring the premises, the building structures, the equipment's necessary for a conducive learning environment, and all this must meet contemporary educational standards (in other to keep the school competitive) not to talk of the cost of staffing such a university with professionals (both locally and internationally), you will agree with me that for a private individual the cost is gigantic.

I know its hard, but we loss so much on corruption and on careless living. I heard that we spent billions every year just to buying human hair. We must all brace up, the market economy is not easy but it will help in reducing corruption and bring us the much needed development we need.
Religion / Re: How Christianity Was Coined By Trickstars And The Originals by Kelly32: 1:29pm On Sep 20, 2014
sexzskil: Looking at this scam called Christianity critically, the intelligent in mind will not find it hard in anyway to decipher that it is the greatest mind control tool in history. Free Masons who have conducted this religion since the beginning of times really planned and predicted how everything was to be. One of such is that this religion will be used to keep a future continent called Africa busy while the ''real'' elites of the world continue to work in the fulfilment of prophesies they have penned down in this ancient mystery, cult-created text which would latter be named the ''Bible''. Constantine came on the scene, several thousands of years later, and perfected the work in form of the ''gone and coming'' Christs, according to the instruction passed to him in the MITHRAIC cannon, through various spiralling links.

To be continued...

Sometimes it marvels me the way people adopt an ideology (which say Christianity was coined by tricksters) simply because its popular, but they forget that popularity of an ideology does'nt mean its always correct way to think of an issue in that manner.

According to the OP's post, especially the part in bold letters, she suggests that intelligent people are the ones who quickly decipher Christianity as a scam. I would like to present the view that ''deciphering Christianity as a scam'' is not a measure of intelligence, especially when you have not carried out a personally honest, and an open minded research on Christianity which examine's CRITICAL EVIDENCE not just as a religion but as a belief.

To come online and then make a statement based on hear say or on popular opinion or on a weak intellectual analysis, is baseless. If you ask the OP how she come up with this idea that ''Christianity has been conducted by Free masons from the beginning'' and that ''the religion will be used to keep a future continent called Africa busy while the real elites of the world continue to work in the fulfillment of prophesies'', we all will be shocked, because already her statements lack coherence making it difficult to draw out a balanced argument (am not even touching the evidences on which she is basing her statements).

My dear permit me to digress a bit. Africa is where it is not because of the white man and his religion, but because we choose to allow Greed and foolishness to rule our hearts and we have refused to take personal responsibility of our destiny as a continent, rather, we chose to escape our irresponsibility by blaming the white man. The far-east Asian continent (China, Japan, south korea, singapore, hongkong, and indonesia) as a continent accepted responsibility and they broke the whatever shackles that was set to limit them. Hence, your ideology and your attempt to use Christianity as the white-mans tool of subjugation, just to justify your atheist ideology, is baseless.

Properties / Re: Abuja’s Abandoned Mansions by Kelly32: 8:24pm On Sep 17, 2014
Guyman02: The reality is that most people in Abuja actually live a fake life. Since I got posted to this town, I realised that my salary only pays my rent and put food on my table. No savings anymore, in Portharcourt I stayed in a 3 bedroom spacious apartment with less than the amount I am paying in Abuja for a one bedroom flat. Sometimes I feel stuck, I cant just quit my job without an alternative. Contracts are only for the really connected people.

All the schools in town are so expensive that I wish that Government should use the Ebola excuse and close all the schools till January 2015 so that I can accumulate more monthly salary to pay for my kids.

While you are struggling to pay your rent in Abuja, you find several unoccupied mansions around you with so high rent that they remain unrented for years, the owners dont care because only few of them struggled to make the money to build those mansions in Abuja, majority are from govt coffers and inflated contracts.

Abuja can be frustrating, my friend wants to relocate to Abuja by asking for transfer from his office, I have been advising him not to be deceived by the lack of heavy traffic and beautiful street lights at night and since he is gainfully employed in Lagos, with all the hassles in Eko, he should just be visiting to seek for opportunities or to have fun but not outright relocation with his family.

Abuja doesnt seem to have a soul of its own. The only alternative is to relocate to outskirts like Maraba/Nyanya where the traffic snarl to the city center every morning and evening will make you feel like your lifespan is been cut short, now it has been worsened by Soldiers doing stop and search against Boko Haram.

Bother your words are the truth. The soullessness of Abuja has a direct relationship with the activities of the individual resident in it. "Nigeria is bad, Nigeria is bad" its the individuals that make it so.
Greed in an individual looks pretty harmless, but in a lot of people living in one place at a particular time, it becomes a monster. Tell me the Sense in this, you buy a house, you will not live in the house, you will not rent the house out, No one will live in the house, you die without your family knowing of the property, you sell the property for peanuts yet people are slaving to pay for just one room. May God show mercy on humanity.
