How do you prove that these dead bodies are bokoharam members? and how do you disprove an argument for genocide?
Politics / Re: Nigerian Military Release Photos From The Battle In Konduga by Kelly32: 9:57pm On Sep 13, 2014
If bokoharam shows us pictures of their military armory and there leader making threats, we believe. If Sahara reporters tells us that bokoharam have overrun the police barracks, the emirs palace and certain local places in Maiduguri without showing us a single picture of bokoharam in these places, we believe them. Now our own military have come out gallantly to tell us they are winning the battle, we ask for pictures of dead bodies before we believe. Mean while sahara reporters will never report this victory.

To find great tourist destinations in Nigeria, you can visit www.tourism.ng. I guess you should be able to get facts and details about places of interest from that site. I also however strongly advice that you consult with your mother's relatives, who live in Nigeria to further cross reference tourist sites and facts you've obtained and to further inform you of local sites to visit. Have fun while you visit

freshprincex49: What will they deny next? That the picture we all saw was photoshoped? Or that it was taken @ another event?..

I am slowly beggining to lose faith in this Government. How can people be so dumb and insensitive? Even if it were just for eye service, the presidency is supposed to distance itself from this man untill those allegations are cleared.

As I am typing this, my device will go off any moment because I've not had power supply for almost 48 hrs, yet somebody will tell me there is hope for this 'Hell' called Nigeria!

Leaedrs fail to understand that they will one day descend from the throne and give account of their actions! ......that day will surely come!

No offence but, Nigeria is what it is because of insincere men and women. For this change to happen, the question is can you and I bring change in this society through sincerity? if everybody loses hope and nobody does anything or takes responsibility, how can change come? and why should we complain? Change and hope rests on our shoulders as Nigerians and on this premise I say there is Yet still hope and Nigeria is NOT hell.

Am not sure you read the post correctly. Please read this section below, especially the part in bold letter and reconsider your statements.

''The 150-hectare farm is a joint venture (JV) owned by the Enugu state government and Mexican farming conglomerate, San Carlos. Approved by the Enugu state government in 2012, the JV was established for commercial production of pineapple for both local consumption and export.

Speaking Monday’s state executive council meeting presided over by Governor Sullivan Chime at the Government House, Ugwoke said the government was considering expanding its agricultural business on the farm, as the council had approved the sum of N880.9m for the introduction of banana and livestock, particularly cattle''.

Kelly32: Funny, there are certain values that we eschew highly in Africa that makes things a bit difficult for young couples. An example is this OMUGO. when these in-laws (with there attitude issues)come to claim there so called right during OMUGO, these young couples bear the brunt of there presence and when you respond to there inconsiderate actions, meaning are quickly read to your response, thereby making an already challenging marriage unbearable. I wish couples can just enjoy a certain level of freedom from these chains called TRADITION (OMUGO) and decide for themselves what they want.

Kelly32: where are evidences or facts like Pictures or videos of them in the Police barracks, in the Emirs palace, pictures of them with a hoisted flag in these deserted places that are being mention they have taken over.

Please I would like us to see that the reason they only show you short videos or picture of one Armour humvee on youtube is simple, Propaganda. I personally believe that if they are bold enough as some have projected them to be and have actually taken over these places, they would have shot videos in these places which is a show of there achievement. There is a saying that ''when a person is falling down its only natural for them to look for what to hold on to'' and in this case the only thing they bokoharam are trying to grab wisely is propaganda.

Oga. Not everyone believes in eternity, nor the Christian (or Muslim) version of eternity. Go preach eternity to the billions of Asians whom, because they aren't Christians, you'd assume would be going to hell.

She made people laugh. She lived to the age of 81.

For me, this is all I want out of life. Don't worry about her eternity, worry about yours, and hope (and pray) to live to her age, maybe then you can judge her.

Please get me right I have never said ''she will go to hell or not go to heaven'', but in reference to your point, making people laugh is NOT the essence of Life (again no offence to the lady). Sure in the course of life, we will make people laugh, but even if I spend my whole time in an exam hall making people laugh, will that Guarantee that I will pass that exam?

Also its the worry for my eternity that prompts me to talk more about it, and makes me drawing examples from the fact that 81 years to you might look like a lot or an achievement but believe me if its wasted, you will see the value of one hour and wish you had just an hour to correct it.

Please shut the hell up. Not everyone is a Christian. And for all we know, she died a happy woman at a ripe old age of 81! Not many Nigerians at that age are strong enough. So better keep hoping to last that long instead of hating on someone that people have come to like the world over, including those she disses on TV!

Please think deep and wide about what this person said before asking him or her to shut up. The fact still remains that you and I where not there to be really sure she died a happy woman (May her soul rest in peace and no offence or judgement meant to the Lady) but the matter here is eternity not her happiness and may I use this opportunity to inform you that, even if the whole world likes you, that in itself is not a guarantee that God is pleased with you. Please think about this.

For the object in this documentry to be the same dimension, with three compartments and found in the exact same spot as described in the bible and with other interesting evidences, this goes a long way to honour the truth which men wrote down in scriptures, under the inspiration of the Holy spirit. Please watch closely and tell us your views on noahs story.

Here is what I think, there are certain things we may not really and fully understand and because we don't, we only Just make rubbish of certain truth that stares us in the face. With regards to Noah's ark story and evidences to prove or disprove it's authenticity thereby indirectly questioning the efficacy of the bible.I submit to u that there are many more unimaginable un-explainable stories littered across the bible eg people rising from dead, different kinds of sicknesses being healed, people walking on water, people walking on dry ground through a sea, people thrown into fire but not burned,300 soldiers winning a war against 36,000 soldiers, I could go on and on. It just comes down to this its either u believe the bible(which is Gods word )or you don't for without faith it is impossible to please and be satisfactory to Him. For whoever would come near to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He is the rewarder of those who earnestly and diligently seek Him [out]Heb 11:6. We either live by faith and leave all these unnecessary arguments or we research to find out the truth or we don't believe at all. but for the sake of evidence please watch.

Mr Aboki:

When was the last time God dealth with any issue?

You think say this na the days of Jonah wey fish dey swallow person, vomit am after three days?! grin

Africa lazy dependence on God to right wrongs is what has kept us where we are today. Look at that guy trying to prove that Jesus and his disciples were rich.. All he ended up doing was showing that he has only read the Bible, not studied it..

My people die for lack of wisdom.. Its what the bible says and now I am slowly beginning to understand why...

Do you propose to go fight them in other to right wrongs? Besides, if u have read my contribution correctly you would understand that I propose we should focus on our own salvation, phil 2:12 says (cultivate, carry out to the goal, and fully complete) your own salvation with reverence and awe and trembling (self-distrust, with serious caution, tenderness of conscience, watchfulness against temptation, timidly shrinking from whatever might offend God and discredit the name of Christ. finally Rev 22:11-12 says ''He who is unrighteous (unjust, wicked), let him be unrighteous still; and he who is filthy (vile, impure), let him be filthy still; and he who is righteous (just, upright, in right standing with God), let him do right still; and he who is holy, let him be holy still.
Behold, I am coming soon, and I shall bring My wages and rewards with Me, to repay and render to each one just what his own actions and his own work merit''.
So why should I fret, wisdom demands that i should focus on my work until I get my own results and also be rest assured that God is still in charge of issues, treating every case according to His own timing.

I think we should let God deal with this issue, for only He alone knows the depths of a mans heart(intentions, motives and the real reason behind these wealth acquisition), he knows where there heart is(Matthew 6:21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also).I think we should rather face our work like in a race or in an examination we should [phil 2:12 (cultivate, carry out to the goal, and fully complete) your own salvation with reverence and awe and trembling (self-distrust, with serious caution, tenderness of conscience, watchfulness against temptation, timidly shrinking from whatever might offend God and discredit the name of Christ)].
May God grant us wisdom grace and mercy.

Religion / Re: Adeboye, Olukoya, Oyedepo, Oritsajafor, Listen To Christ Warning & Amend Ur Way by Kelly32: 10:24pm On Dec 28, 2013
My comments are purely my opinion but if we share the same opinion you are welcome to rubminds with me. I have noticed a trend or patern with the messages that come from several pulpits and for me, I would like to call them peripherial arms of the gospel. A lot of the time, these messages help a man to meet temporary earthly need but does very little in transforming a man, hence the essence of the Gospel is lost, and this is where many men of God miss it.

Now look carefuly when John the baptist was preaching his message was REPENT FOR THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS AT HAND(Math3:1-2) You will notice that when Jesus started preaching as soon as John got arrested, His message was REPENT FOR THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS HERE (Math4:16-17) did we notice the consistency ? I think the body of christ needs the consistency of this particular message of REPENTANCE, and the true teaching of what the KINGDOM is all about.
Luke 9:35 "This is my beloved Son. Listen to [believe, and obey] him.". This puts it clearly, that jesus is the only one with the confirmation of the father to be obeyed, however, men of God are to exemplify jesus both in there messages and conduct and ,lifestyle. They must be passionate about there masters business, focussing on His message and declaring it with boldness as (2 Tim 2:4 NIV) No one serving as a soldier gets involved in civilian affairs--he wants to please his commanding officer. Many Men of God mis it here and many followers are led astray.

Finally,Jesus has encouraged us all to make disciples, teaching them to obey his command. Rather people are more intrested in carving out there own followers who are not interested in obeying Jesus.
Based on this i think we all the church needs such timely warning from OP so as to keep us all (both men of God and followers) in check.

Nairaland / General / Re: Is Destiny Predetermined? by Kelly32: 4:37pm On Oct 26, 2013
My views are that destiny is not predetermined, however, whatever decisions you make in life has it's consequenses. To back my point, i argue that if destiny where to be predetermined, why would there be judgement in the end? Logically speaking, our destiny is the verdict passed based on the chioces we make because right from the very start, we are eternally face with a choice to make, thus judgement.
Now in this matter, I chose to trust God to always make the right choices as prov 3:5 has encouraged me(which is also a choice) on the other hand, others can chose to handle there destiny by themselves but be informed that "the race is not for the swift" as eccle 9 :11 clearly puts it.
Thus, destiny is in our hands but we have a helper (JESUS) who is eternally loving and mercyful but it's your choice to chose HIS HELP.
