Op I feel your pain but until u stop expecting people to help u, that's when great ideas will flow in, which will be end up becoming sought after by millions of people. Life is tough like I always say.. It's not for the weak or faint hearted.
I know of unilag students both guys and girls who learnt one craft or the other and end using it in school. The one who learnt the craft of sandals and shoes are making their money by the side and paying their schools. The ones who learnt sewing?; sew for students, making money, barbing nko? It's also there. They feed well, dress well and assist their parents.
If u keep posting cv up and down we without a skill to sell and make ends meet.
My dear OYO. Stop the self pity and think! Wat product or services do the society need that will create money for u.. Just think!

In my own case, the fear of sexual harassment made me seat down and think, what services can I provide for the public? And be an enterprenuer ,without bn placed at the mercy of any employer. And an idea came up, which am so glad I followed it up. And fashied white collar jobs.
I hate been boxed into a corner cos I want to survive. I detest it.

And my plans triumphed after some rigorous years down the lane

Like I said starting thinking constructively.

I am starting a business in Nigeria in February of 2017 and will be looking to train 20 people to work with me on this project. Selected participants will be paid up to N30,000 during the duration of each project which will be less than a month per project. We aim to run up to 50 projects per State in 2017. OP, I care and I'm working to make a difference for people like you. In a few months I will start work on a project in Nigeria that will employ about 20 people on a contract basis. They might not earn much but they will get a window of opportunity which will enhance their selfworth. I will be relocating to Nigeria 1st week in February. Watchout for my posts here on Nairaland. I have been through so much myself but I did not give up, you should not either. Please note, no one will have to pay for anything. Those that meet the requirements will be chosen. Simple as that.

I watched a video on how a desert with virtually no water, was turned into the best city in the world... and I thought, to myself, Engineers sat down and thought about the world they lived in, the problems they faced and then turned the place where nobody wants to visit to a place where most people will kill for to get to.

Nigeria has the longest coastal shore in Africa, has an arrays of tourism hotspots across boards, diverse culture with their beautiful celebrations..
Nature has been good with us, we have rare Bad natural occurrences..

but the only problem we have is corruption and bad leadership,our Engineers can't nothing, not even toothpic (the same problem that plagues other African nations) and 55yrs plus, we have not been able to fix any of them, or make fair progress.

And the oil Dubai hv, we hv more, yet instead of using our oil to solve our problems as they did theirs, we are selling it, and using the money to fly there to buy clothes we and things we could produce here and to go to the desert to take selfie.
while our most skilled engineers instead of building others to be like them, fly abroad to slave away building places their kinsmen loot and work their life out to go and spend time in.
