I side no One in this Fight, BUT a look at things, Russia had to withdraw their troops from that region else they risk being flooded by that Dam at the river bank should Ukraine damage it which they had targeted severally.

Moreover, they left that region, doesn't mean they have surrendered it.

Initially, the WEST wanted to weaken Russia, only to later learn that Russia was intentionally prolonging the Fight, so that all those Supporting Ukraine with resources runs out of resources.

Really don't know much about Russian army but this fight has EXPOSed the cracks & weakness of the WEST, especially the USA so much they have lost some countries to Russia, including the UAE & Saudi Arabia breaking their relationship with the WEST, and starting one with Russia under BRICS . Russia (USSR) retreated to Napoleon’s & Hitler’s offensives. They finished the war by decimating La Grande Armée & occupying Berlin. Kiev was a faint. Kharkiv & Kherson are tactical retreats before they finish off NATO’s proxy army this winter.

Well, the Russians did hold that part of the Kherson Oblast quite successfully for months. The pullback honestly makes sense as the river will definitely serve as a natural barrier. Besides, Gen. Suruviken did say that he'll make hard decisions to protect his men.

That said, I don't see this pullback/retreat going down well in Russia and will likely hurt Putin and the already mauled reputation and morale of the Russian Armed Forces and the Russian Federation at large. Any offensive against Mykolaiv and Odessa are now officially off the table. Oh be rest assured that the west and Ukraine will play this continuously and fully utilize it in their information war.

The question now is: what's next? A huge chunk of Russia's mobilized force will be entering the theatre of operation very soon, so what will the Russian High Command do next?
