The Police authorities in Zambia on Monday said they had banned officers from marrying foreigners.
According to a memo issued by the country’s Police Inspector General Kakoma Kanganja, which was circulating on social media, officers were prohibited from marrying foreigners “with immediate effect.’’
In the memo, dated 11 January, the police chief advised officers, who were already married to foreigners to declare their foreign spouses to his office within one week.
“Failure to declare any foreigner spouse will attract disciplinary action,’’ he said.
In her reaction to the declaration, the Police spokeswoman Esther Katongo, has defended the decision which had already received a backlash as constitutional.

Man Commits Suicide Live On Facebook After Girlfriend Dumped Him

A 22-year-old heartbroken Turkish man, Erdogan Ceren shot himself live on Facebook in a moment watched by more than five hundred thousand people.
In the shocking footage, Ceren, in the live broadcast on his public Facebook page explained to the camera that his girlfriend had broken up with him and he was going to end his life because of that.

Contrary to speculation that immediate-past President of Nigeria, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan was in the US for the inauguration of the new American President , Donald Trump, he was in Ibogun Olaogun village in Ifo local government area of Ogun state holding a closed door meeting with former President Olusegun Obasanjo. this is funny but true according to LEADERSHIP newspaper...A Nigerian woman(names withheld) yesterday in Lafia, Nasarawa State, publicly disowned her cat whom she had kept as a pet for seven years for what she termed “an unnatural sexual behavior” which she finds disturbing and “a contradiction of the laws of nature.”
By this, the cat has made a record as the first cat to be so publicly declared gay and disowned by its owner.
The cat, named Bull, was alleged to be in the habit of making sexual advances only to other male cats in the house even though there are several other female cats.
