Properties / Re: I Am Going Back To Being A Moderator So You Won't Call Me A Fraudster Anymore! by Kenjo(f): 5:29pm On Nov 16, 2009
Analytical & Jaguda bob, thanks for saying exactly what I was thinking. I am a passive Nairalander and sometimes visit the Property session to keep abreast of property development in Lagos. I decided to write because having read the thread on Okun Mopo from beginning to end, I don't get where Madam L is coming from at all.

I think Madam L is very out of order in this matter and must have a personal vendetta against Lawyer, otherwise she would have cooled down by now. It is ok to criticise others, but her criticisms/posts seem tinged with malice and a bit over the top for some one who claims to be a newbie to the Property thread.

I have been very informed and educated on property issues by Lawyer's posts till date and very impressed by the depth of information he had presented in various threads. It is a great loss if people like Madam L succeed in the quest to silence Lawyer.

Madam we ask you to please desist from fermenting trouble, criticise if you must, be keep it constructive!!

@temmie thanks

I have actually placed a buy order for unic and fcmb. I now I will get back like 70% of my cash from 1st bank PO, so I might decide to go with bank PHB, Zenith or bAGCO with the proceeds, still undecided at this point. Like you said lets wait and see.

Gurus, NAHCO or DF which would you buy, I have read all that has been written about DF on this thread, but my broker still insist its a good buy. I'm leaning towards NAHCO, I am very much a novice so this is not based on any fundamental analysis.

Replies much appreciated.

But it seems we are not excited about the NAHCO offer here on nairaland.

You said most bank lost today, how much did WEMA close? And does anyone have an idea when Union bank will release their overdue resuls?

Temmie just sent you an email please could you reply, thanks

Hey gurus in the house, no one has said anything about the NAHCO offer which closes this week. What is you take, to buy or not to buy,

Basically I am interested in medium to long term.

Thanks in advance for all the replies.

Hi Guys,

Just to say I am new to this forum and I think its great. Weldone to all the gurus in the house. I have learnt a lot in the few weeks I have been reading through the different threads on stocks.

I am also very keen on the insurance sector, but I am still very new to investing in shares. I would like to invest about 2M. I have read a bit and understand about fundamentals and all that. But I watched in the sidelines while share price of stocks I am interested went up. So I want to invest now while still learning.

So what do the gurus think about?

1. Access Bank (secondary market) I know its very scarce but I might be lucky and get some
2. Japaul Oil -PO
3.AIICO and Mutual Benefits
4. Continental Re
5. FCMB- In view of their proposed public offer
6. May and Baker

My aim is capital appreciation.

Many thanks for your response. Easimoni I know you are on, any response is much appreciated.
