I want to know too, if this is Ugwuaji zion city, then that means landed properties in that area may have increased since then, i bought a piece (1 plot) of land at 700k in that area since 2018, i have been paying all manners of levies and levies to the community ever since close to another 150k naira. i am fed up of paying.

In as much as I know this story is cooked, if not for some uncalculated advices from those that have commented, I wouldn't have typed anything here.

Madam, DO NOT TELL YOUR HUSBAND ANYTHING. It's God that forgives sin and not man. If you do, you will always remember the day you read my comment and you will always be in tears.

Ask God for mercy and He will definitely forgive and bless your family, thereby you all will pack out from that place so that the memory can easily die off.

This is different from infectious diseases bill, THIS IS ABACHA LOOT and one of the condition for releasing the money but US government is that they be tied to specific projects which was done.... No amount of pressure from anybody can change that .

Hasn't there been a budgetary allocations for those projects you mentioned?

Vividly I remembered how we trooped sawmill for sawdust just to put something into our belly.

During that time someone controlling had more than 400 million dollars just to secure the lives of his generations...

Greetings to you all.

Ever since the news hit the public hearing on the returned $311m dollars Abacha loot from United States, many economical, political and social commentators have been airing out their views on the strategic areas this chunk of money should be used.

Some are suggesting it should be shared among the citizens, some have the opinion that it should also be shared among the component states and local governments, while other set of minds are emphasising it should be used to upgrade our health care system, others on infastructal development and so on and so forth.

May we have your perception on how you would like the government to put this money into use?

We sold oil for over 50 years yet cannot boast of stable power supply, good roads, well equipped hospital, better schools and no social investment programme.
Look at China that was once in the league of developing nation with us, look at India, they have all moved ahead and look at where we are as a nation. I think the only way out is to divide the contraption called Nigeria, else we keep deceiving ourselves. People who want to be in darkness and poverty should remain and people who want to move forward should move forward.

I've interacted with some of them on WhatsApp and Facebook, so I know what I'm talking about.

It wouldn't make sense to always take a screenshot of every grammatical mistake I see. But I've attached a screenshot below, say "hi" when you see it.

Ninety-five percent of the people on that Screen Shot you attached are not indigenous people of Britian and America.

And I can tell you why John used that "Am" he assumed it's a social media thing and such seems like a buzz word on social media. Although, it isn't a cogent reason for him to have used it.

I prefer 150k in PH to the 220k in Lag.

You need to check if you can get a good accommodation close to your place of work, check the price, check if it's a place you will encounter much hold up, check starting time and the time of closure.

All these and more should be put into consideration. It's not just because of seventy thousand naira, you might end up spending close to that amount on transport fare alone couple with others too.
