NkemChukwudi:I see tha to you anyone who insults Nigeria is an Ipob member to you. FYI, I am from a place no where close to Eastern Nigeria or the Igbos; Or can persons from other parts of Nigeria become Ipob members?? ![]() |
Nairalandmentor:Y’all need to change your attitude and mentality for your passport to even smell top 20. |
Kreamie:You comment had me laughing out loud in a public bus! ![]() Almost all the visa free countries are war ravaged you say?? ![]() |
ImpregnaTor:And you are sure it would work and she would all of a sudden become a new creature?? Be like you wan join Senator Abbo explain to Nigerians why u dey slap woman |
KingAzubuike:I don’t think Pastor Fatoyinbo would even have the nerve or effrontery to say this kind of prayer to God right now. Because he, unlike you, knows that God knows all and sees all. And he knows where the truth lies. |
DAramis:You wicked oo. Make d foreign country arrest the idiot on behalf of Nigerian immigration.Once one of the ex-public office holders is apprehended others would definitely do the needful. |
Homeboiy:My brother una dey enjoy ooo! Na those places be Benin, no be Agbor road, Upper Mission extension and co wey dem dey share light everyday. Chai! |
mysticwarrior:https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.pulse.ng/bi/lifestyle/mark-babatunde-is-the-only-african-in-yakutia-the-coldest-place-on-earth/1w4cggx.amp His name is Babatunde and he lives in Yakutia, Russia. |
deomelo:I’m not dictating to anyone what they shld or shldnt talk about. Just sharing how I feel about the situation and giving my taking on it because I feel priorities are misplaced in your country. Of course is your right to use your data on whatever you choose, even if it is wasting it on politicians and their photos op. My brother do with you data and your life whatever you like. What concerns me. But as you have got a right to speak, so have I too. And I have said what is on my mind, if you no like am, dat one concern you. If you wan dey waste your data on top my mata, go ahead man, nothing do you. I have talked about other countries where things are better; where things work and would continue to talk about them. I am not trying to put Nigeria down before other countries, it is already down by the actions of its citizens and leaders. Me trying to put it down would be a complete waste of time; can’t be flogging an already dead horse. Think I am telling lies about Nigeria being down, take a look at your people dying in the Sahara desert and on the Mediterranean sea just to get to those countries which you believe they should not compare Nigeria to. Nigeria is a useless country with useless citizens; citizens that cannot see that their two biggest political parties are one and the same just politicians jumping from one to the other whenever it suits their careers. Get a grip of reality man and stop putting your stupidity on display here. |
Homeboiy:Oh I have seen it! I had not gotten to that part of the thread when I asked about where u live. |
obiekunie2:Even the coldest part of the world there is a Nigerian there, married to one of the natives ![]() |
Olukat:I guess if it was your mum or sister that was slapped you wld have said this, right?? |
deomelo:You just jump into conclusion that anyone who says something that you are not in agreement with is an ipob member I pity you! ![]()
|
prolog3111:Chai! You mean to tell me say you no chop the food wey I prepare for you inside my comment?! ![]()
|
Homeboiy:Abeg na where u dey stay for Benin wey u dey get that uninterrupted light cos na sharing tinz my people dey see for inside dat same Benin oo! |
J prolog3111:prolog3111 or whatever you call yourself, you are the dumbest entity to have ever graced the threads of this Nairaland forum. You always want to beat your chest like you know it all. Yet you know nothing. I repeat you know nothing mr. man. You said Portuguese missionaries called it “Benin Kingdom”, so the people had no name for themselves before the Portuguese came eh?!! The Portuguese came to the region and got that name out of the top of their hats and then bestowed it upon the people?!! I am sure you believe only things that are put in ink and paper. You must have never heard of “oral traditions” or “folklore”, “songs and stories handed down from generation to generation” You are a true representation of how a brainwashed African thinks and conducts himself online when it comes to historical matters. I don’t blame you and I am sure you won’t blame yourself either. Lets just collectively blame it on your ‘Parisian’ education. After all the French have been known to brainwash idiots like you from time immemorial. Same people who claim they built Timbuktu. Idiots like you would believe such because you heard it from the french and it was put in writing. You are as dumb as a dodo bird (if popular culture continues to get it wrong) and you must have the brain of a bulldog which is not even as developed as most other dog species. |
prolog3111:You studied in Paris yet you have never heard of ‘bini’ ![]() Dude you just embarrassed yourself even more! Besides no one here cares where u studied. If you like study for Mars. No one gives 2 fvcks! Also, this is a faceless forum, anyone can claim anything, anyone can claim they studied anywhere. No be only Paris, you kukuma study ontop Eiffel Tower! ![]() |
prolog3111:You are the slow poke! Go read your history properly and see how the so-called “Benin Kingdom” was referred to before the coming of the missionaries. Dude has never heard of “Bini” before and you are here making noise about DNA this, DNA that? Chai!! Guy you stupid no be small! ![]() |
9jaRealist:I never insulted you; said the truth, you took it as an insult. BTW, after calling people ‘zombies’ and ‘deplorable’, you have no right to talk about insults. And you seem to love the word “CHILDISH”. Do you need an expansion of your English vocabulary. I could help with that ![]() |
9jaRealist:Of all i said, you could only pick the ones that hurt you the most. Oga argue with the points I brought up. Bye Felicia?? You sound like my younger sister ![]() |
9jaRealist:Yah. Keep putting up signs that say “your taxes are at work” and not taking measures to punish those don’t pay and ensure they is a little loophole as possible for those who intend evading taxes; and see if there would be any taxes left to be used to even erect those signs. Keep encouraging them to live up to their civic responsibilities by putting up signs. As if people actually care about signs. In fact don’t only put up signs, erect billboards!! Nonsense! The only way people would comply is if they know there are consequences if they don’t comply. Nigerians need iron hand! Real hot iron hands. That is only when that useless country with lots of potentials would move forward! U.S citizens as well as citizens of other saner countries don’t pay their taxes because their government puts up signs that their taxes are at work, they only pay because they know there are grave consequences for tax evasion. And that is exactly what Nigerians need. Serious iron hand that would either make them bend or break if they try to steal from the govt. And by the way, I never intended telling you where I currently reside. That info is my private business and is of no use to you cos for all i know, you may be a thief, cyber hacker, online scammer or a kidnapper. Only brought up the fact that I don’t live in the U.S because you out of no where threw Trump into the matter. What has Trump got to do with the American people not singing the praises of their governors at every single thing they do. Or is Donald Trump a governor ![]() And in your words he promotes himself, and not a majority of the people promoting him and singing his praises at everything he does. He sings his own praises. Can you please explain to me using your low IQ brain how Trump singing his own praises connects with Nigerians singing the praises of their governors ![]() You are not interested in discoursing “anthropological discourse about the Nigerian psyche or personality” but you go on to tell me I would forever be imprinted with Nigerian genes. How much more stupid and contradictory can you get?? |
9jaRealist:Paying your taxes and holding your government accountable so they use your tax money properly. Thats how a country can move forward! Glad you indirectly agreed with me that the problem of Nigeria is fundamentally Nigerians themselves; not the leaders, not politicians but Nigerians. Ordinary, everyday Nigerians are the problem of that country because aside the fact that they don’t pay their taxes, it is from this same lot that the leaders of the country are picked from. They are not imported from other countries or brought from space. The slapping senator is he from Mali, he is a Nigerian and he reflects the true nature of Nigerians - Rude, brass, authoritative and quick to temper. Those shouting online for his arrest and prosecution would do even worse if they had an ounce of his position or power as a senator. |
anonimi:I mentioned Dangote in my comment. Or is he white now?? Trust me the rich ones in Nigeria and Africa in general never show off; they are oftentimes not even online to begin with. Even when they are they don’t show off; displaying money on the table or wherever. Let me leave men a bit. One of the richest women in Africa is in Angola but you would never see her show off but the so called “boss ladies” who go to eat shiit in Dubai and other other parts of the Middle East won’t let us see where to put our legs jejely online. The truly rich never show off! By the way, so you are saying white people don’t spend senselessly right?? Smh Talk wetin you know or dey sure off abeg! |
booscy:I dey tell you! We no dey abroad to dey throw snowballs at each other. Even those wey dey Europe no dey dia to count old church buildings and monuments. Na to hustle hard! People wey dey back home no wan hear stories! ![]() |
Tolexander:Thank you for educating that tribalistic, ethnocentric and brain-washed citizen of our great nation! |
BoluwajiPieters:But doesn’t that summarize the society and/oe world we live in?? Hard workers and ‘real’ influencers get no recognition but those who just appear on TV are being ‘marketed’. No wonder the song ‘soapy’ is trending in Nigeria. Watch as one big brand makes that idiot their ambassador. |
Karemarealty288:Not about race or nationality. Has nothing to do with being black. The real rich; the ones who have got the dough, the ones whom their money alone opens doors don’t and would never do such. Na those wey get ordinary 2 cents no go let us breath. You mention yankee; make I mention naija. You would never see Dangote do such but come see Hushpuppi and his likes. |
jabberjawz:Oga hustle hard oo make you no continue dey wish say you get quarter of wetin somebody wey don work hard dey show off ![]() |
9jaRealist:Excuse me, I don’t live in the U.S. I live in a much better country where the politicians and the citizens do actually know what they are doing. Thank you. And may I ask, how can you get to the level of the aforementioned countries, the U.S, U.K, Canada, e.t.c if rather than hold your public officers accountable, you sing their praises both on and offline for every little, tiny thing they do pertaining their offices which most time ought to be their responsibility?? Stop encouraging stupidity! |
deomelo:Which people; which village?? Do you even know where I am from in Nigeria or if I am even Nigerian at this very minute of writing?? Hope you know people from other countries do visit Nairaland as well?? ![]() Oga my leg no go step that country in the next decade or maybe even more. Quite comfortable where I am. Thank you. Na just say motherland na motherland. You just can’t stop caring especially if you still have friends and extended family there. That aside, na una wey dey inside Naija; inside d suffering wey no even get brain to see say APC na PDP and PDP na APC. You guys who keep singing the praises of sycophants who see you as nothing but a means to enrich themselves and their families. The governor you are praising are his children in Nigeria; no of course not why would they be, when their father who is a governor can easily send them to the best places in the world where they would be very very safe from all the hardship and suffering which you who is singing his praises here would face in your daily life. My brother, you get brain, e go make sense if you use am. |
9jaRealist:Keep publicizing it while his ego keeps growing and watch him do nothing in his second tenure but steal your state’s money while pampering the godfathers who put him there. I see other countries, U.S, U.K, Canada, e.t.c countries in the developed world, having governors but I don’t see their governors’ actions littered all over their news. But I’m sure they must be working else the people would have voted to have that position scrapped entirely. But in your country Nigeria, if a governor coughs, he is praised to the highest heavens with photo ops and paparazzi all over the place and we won’t breath online because his photos would be scattered all over the internet chanting his praises for performing what was supposed to be is “duties and responsibilities” as governor. No wonder your politicians see themselves as gods and people should lie down on the floor for them to walk on. And you wonder why they slap people in sex shops and issue useless apologies to the masses. What a useless country with hopeless and useless citizens whose dumbness and blindness stinks to the highest heavens. |
