Who has noticed the new biometrics residence permit arrangement where you will be issued a temporary visa for 30 days in your home country and you will have to travel to UK within that 30 days to get the main visa? Can someone please throw more light on this? |
justwise:many thanks |
@justwise, am planning to renew my passport next week. Was wondering if the visa on this passport will still be valid as I understand the passport will be cancelled upon issuing a new one. |
Visocrate:someone has a first degree form Harvard and a PhD from MIT, two great schools in the world. Taking away the honorary degree doesn't remove anything from her achievements. |
jamicanlady:Yes, many thanks. |
Hello guys, how can I book for the TB test? The clinic in charge doesn't seems to have a website. |
@achina boy what do you want to know? |
Well done lads. |
Can't believe obasanjo is saying essentially that the north is being marginalised. |
The end will justify the means. |

paradisewoods: guys please collosus has spoken 15th it is .lol ;Dguys please collosus has spoken 15th it is .lolAs regards how it ended, i don't know what to say. What i know is that those who got it have since resumed in their respective schools. Though not all. The disaster that wiped out the data on nairaland won't allow you guys to see how it eventually ended. |
candiva2013: Most big budget movies are over hyped, so don't be suprised. The only edge they have is that they use very high quality camera and then invest alot in publicityThat's true |
Forget about the oxford thing unless your tuition fee is not more than 20,000 pounds. That is the highest NITDA will pay for your tuition. And as regards the maintenance allowance, think NITDA has the best in the country so far. it is 10,200 pounds per year. chivitech: That is very true my friend. I know this is not NITDA scholarship thread. But I am quite fortunate to be among the successful NITDA shortlisted candidate. My question is this, do you know the exact amount NITDA offers? cos if it is higher than NDDC, I want to forget about NDDC and try to give others a chance while I pursue Oxford. thanks |
mayo47: For what? Well u in the wrong thread…..lol. Thought its required by international students to have access to free health facilities in the UK |
Guys, where can i get yellow fever card here in NIGERIA? |
jdbabzy: Really?? But I also thought NUC was mandated to ensure that all qualified scholars got a position in a course related to one's first degree. What dis wud mean is that they'd have looked for any of those sklz dat matched her qualifications and secure her a place in dat skl (plz correct me if I'm wrong)The areas of specialization have already been listed. You are to apply for admission as well. NUC only went to the schools to tell them you will be applying and that they should consider your application favourably. |
jdbabzy: By the way; how are you 'very' sure such an one scored 80% last year? Did u see his/her test score? There is no way someone that scored that high would have missed it . What i can only say about last year's selection is that, some peeps scored high with good WAEC result but applied for irrelevant courses. For example, know of a girl who studied either geograghy or a related course, got 71 in the exam with excellent WAEC result but missed out. |
force of nature: I believe its in times of uncertainties that a true leader in history is confirmed!I use this medium 2 appeal 2 d maiden candidates(both successful/experienced) 2 not sit on deir oars, cos Success is transient+ d help u refuse ur brotherman 2day would always comebak 2 hunt u in oda ways/forms; as d yoruba addage says OMILEYAN_ pple r like rivers we almost always converge, mix,n reconverge after seperating 4rm 1anoda!IF a Pool of advice 4rm d experienced minds wud stirr us in d right direction,Y refuse coz tis wud b costlier not 2 Advice dan 2 b helpful: Inadvertently wat U do in history always combak!Evil men do..... (Julius caesar)While you are busying waiting for who to spoonfeed you, sharp guys have sent personal messages to successful/experienced scholars. Besides, there is no big deal, everything that happened last year is on this thread if you have any specific question you can raise it here. Nobody adviced the Maiden scholars on what to read, yet their performance was awesome. As it is peculiar to First class students to hoard useful information, am not surprised the thread is dull. Its after the test you will see people here asking for test scores. SMH |
jdbabzy: Very well said sir.Thought a group has already being created on facebook. Guess you guys are on a jonzing level |
yorettyna: A teacher walks into d Classroom and says; If only Yesterday was Tomorrow, Today would have been a Saturday. Now on which Day did the Teacher make dis Statementtuesday |
Don Oms: Bro, that's why it is called "rate" o. Lol. It is only constant per time but changing over time. It was 264.5 on Monday. And truly, exchange rates are fairer on mid-weeks generally (forex traders will confirm that) although many factors can set in.pLease where can i get the exchange rate for the different banks in nigeria. GTB and ZENITH to be precise. |
orlando: Any idea on when we should be expecting the shortlist for the aptitude test and possibly what to read? Cant wait!Expect it soonest, all things being equal before the end of the week. Meanwhile try and read your book. |
iyaniwura1: Hello everyone!Secure the scholarship first before applying to UCL dont forget you have to pay admission fee in UCL. Am sure you don't wanna waste your money |
