I have not seen anyone posting the press release on the issue of removal of CRK from the curriculum which is just a speculation and big lie.
The Nigerian Educational Research and
Development Council has debunked a rumour
making the rounds in the educational sector
that Christian Religious Knowledge has been
removed from schools’ curriculum .
The NERDC said in a statement late on
Tuesday that CRK was never removed from
the curriculum, adding that the council never
introduced the Islamic Arabic Studies/French
combination, as being rumoured in some
quarters .
The NERDC Executive Secretary, Prof . Ismail
Junaidu, said the Basic Education Curriculum
which includes the Christian Religious
Knowledge and the Islamic Studies was
approved in 2013 by the National Council on
Education .
Junaidu added that the National Council on
Education , as the apex policy making body in
education in Nigeria, is made up of all the 36
states’ Commissioners of Education and
chaired by the Minister of Education .
He said, “ For the avoidance of doubt, the last
review of the curriculum was approved in
2013 and implementation commenced in
September 2014 .
“ In both instances, neither the Christian
Religious Knowledge nor Islamic Studies was
removed from the curriculum.
“ In fact, at the commencement of the present
administration, the minister of education
sought and obtained the approval of the
National Council on Education to make
Christian Religious Knowledge compulsory
for all Christian students and Islamic Studies
compulsory for their Muslim counterparts.
“ The claims peddled on social media
platforms and a national daily are
speculative, false and unfounded, specifically
as regards the Religion and National Values
Curriculum.
“ The Management of NERDC hereby
reiterates categorically that the subject
offerings ( Civic Education , Social Studies,
Christian Religious Knowledge, Islamic
Studies and Security Education ) under the
Religion and National Values Curriculum are
distinct and taught separately on the time
table .
“ In this Curriculum, no child should be
coerced or compelled to learn or be taught in
school any religious studies relating to the
belief system professed by the child and his /
her parents .
“ CRK is still taught in schools ; as a separate
distinct subject with the accompanying
Teachers’ Guide. There is no subject in the
Nigerian School Curriculum called Islamic
Arabic Studies nor anywhere in the world as
being speculated

I did CRK for 3 solid years without any choice in so called government school 2008 to 11. No one complained. Both IRS and CRK are now under civic education for your information. yes if is drawing back current then any of the lights will be on. we can also use a multi meter to test for current if it actually drawing back current

have you ever thought of why we use different types of wires in electrical settings. this live wire can carry high watt but can't carry high volt. high current low volt that's why it can travel long distance. while the ones we use at home 240v wires cannot handle high current

mehn.. we dey get 10hrs straight lately for my area oo... buh we shoulkd be able to build a battery full cut off circuit , i just dont know if the powerpack is gonna charge 200ah battery without overheating and damaging the board. its kinda easy to fix laptop powerpack sha. its one big capacitor inside that usually gets damage, once replaces, the powerpack is go to go again...




nb: i think a diode might be necessary at the output side of the dc converter to block reverse supply from battery..
if the voltage is kept at around 13.7-14.4v with 4-5a, i doubt if that is ever going to over charge any deep cycle battery from like 60ah upwards, at most its gonna jst tickle the battery ( float charge)

Back to your question, I don't think overcharging your battery (while not a healthy practice for the battery life-span) can burn down your house. On the manual of the charger that I was using, the manufacturer clearly stated that once the battery is full, the user should unplug/switch off the charger as the device was not designed to switch itself off automatically. it was also written that while doing such will not cause any immediate harm, repeated (prolonged) neglected charging - e.g leaving it charging for - say 2weeks (because you are traveling) could reduce battery longevity/life span. signs of overcharging may include battery bulging on its sides.

Apart from being careful to avoid overcharging, since I bought the charger (1yr & 6months now o!), PHCN has hardly EVER supplied my location power sufficient enough to charge battery fully, let alone overcharging! So I've NOT experienced aftermath of overcharging and ofocurse I can risk it because those PHCN guys have never disappointment me! Sometimes I leave it on and go to work predicting that they will not supply power for more than 30minutes. When I get back from work I often ask my neighbour who's usually at home if they supplied power, he will laugh and say they flashed it for only 15minutes! for the whole day! . My area is notorious for LACK OF POWER SUPPLY. I'm thinking of blowing the expense and going for solar, but cash no just dey now.

it will . reduce the charging amp before travelling or going out if you have constant power supply
