Some hard luck here but please don't despair too much. Relax and give it another shot. And like someone mentioned, if you have a good relationship with the guys at AF, maybe you can ask them to help review your script if possible. Best of luck in your next attempts Mamaroon: |
I have not registered for the exams yet. I decided to take my time with it as I am not at the level required for the scores I need. I started learning french like from scratch 2018 April. I have also downloaded and used those materials but the highest I have scored is B1 level especially in CO and CE. I will make a decision once my teachers at Alliance think I am good to go. Someone posted a FB group her sometimes back. The group is quite helpful too. check through the pages to see if you find it. Loads of new information are shared there as people take the tests. fadeofresh: |

Comments on this platform make me weep for the future of this country. Its so unfortunate that we have more idiots than sane people. Minds are so shallow and emotional, no deepthinkng and unbiased analysis, few logical thots. How did we find ourselves in this state of shame? People blinded by blind religion, and hopeless expectation from a dumb president. Hope we get there one day |
Biz? How many people use one line in Naija. All you feigning ignorance don't even recharge ur mtn lines. Any serious biz person in Naija does not use a single biz line. So as I earlier stated, my mtn line stays off. Infact its at home now, switched off. We need to deal with this xenophobic people even though the ultimate fault isn't theirs. |
My phones stays off from now until the row is resolved. No be poor services person dey receive before? |
Do these people think we don't think? Which money are they going to reinvest? The one they didn't provide for in the 2012 budget? Where will the funds come from? Definitely not from the N141 cos nothing goes to FGFG from that. Bunch of useless fools. |
Pastor Adeboye's prophecies for 2011! By Sam Eyoboka DESPITE the tense. atmosphere in the nation occasioned by a series of violent attacks in different parts of the country, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, has predicted a rosy year for the nation. In his New Year predictions for the country, Pastor Adeboye urged Nigerians not to despair but to remain steadfast in their prayers to God, who has promised to still all troubled seas. He said: “There is no need to panic; all will be well,. He urged Nigerians to pray for long life for prominent Nigerians. He added that for those who will be totally committed to God this year, it will be a year of mighty testimonies. The GO said: “There will be big celebrations in many homes/families this year,” adding that there will be massive restorations of losses of the previous years. He, however, used the occasion to urge every Nigerian to pray against killer diseases, particularly amongst children. For the international community, Pastor Adeboye expressed some concern, saying that serious prayers should be offered for the international scene this year against massive storms and extreme temperatures. He said: “Pray against major disasters, especially by fire. Pray that God will speak peace to a convulsing earth. Pray against civil wars and civil unrest.” There is, however, some cheery news on the international scene, as Adeboye foresees major discoveries in the automotive and aviation industry. |
Vague! No specifics, no substance. Anybody could say most of this. Nothing special at all. |
This is like asking how did you know you are the son of your parents. They told you, your parents, family members, witnesses and so on, and you believed. I should ask if you have doubted yourself being the son of your parents or doubted anyone who says he is the son of his own parent. So why doubt this? |
You can imagine them calling it idolatary! It is not wrong if its halloween, but anything african is termed evil. A people who has lost their identity, language and culture can never evolve. We need to celebrate who we are and we are Africans. |
Its a shame some people don't just think before commenting. First of all is it their responsibility to pay school fees, provide shoes, books or whatever? If they havr chosen to buy shoes then so be it. Dumb people if u divide 45m by 15000 it comes to three thousand naira for crying out load. Think naija think before opening ya big mouth on ur empty head. |
The mis/lack of understanding of issues, the "shallowness" of thots, the subjectivity of opinions and the disregard of obvious facts on Online fora is both appalling and disheartening. Youths who are just eager to talk without patiently weighing their tots. How many of your churches did ur pastors preach about salvation of souls in the past one month? I wonder what hope there is for our country. These Nigerians should be left alone to continue in this suffering. They are not worth dying for. They are given to deceit and blinded by religion. Its a shame. They have never experience the ideal and so don't know what they want. This type of democracy is not the solution to our problem. Brilliant minds know that. WAKE UP NIGERIA. WAKE UP FROM UR SLUMBER NIGERIA!!!!!!! |
@Snowwy Please note that the priest did not demand the tithe from Abraham, Abraham gave it of his own freewill. second, his occupation was not warfare. He went to war to rescue Lot and his family, so whtever he had with him at that time was not income(please check the definition of income). Third, If tithing was to be a regular thing, Abraham would av paid more than once. Generally, bible scholars believe there are no mistakes in the Book. So its not like Jesus and Paul forgot to mention that we should pay the way our pastors are demanding it today> |
« #15 on: May 31, 2011, 06:35 PM » -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Abraham gave a tithe to Melchiz, a Jesus incarnate. I hav Abraha blessing I so follow his ex of tithing; givin to God, Take a second look at ur words: Abraham gave, not paid. Which indicates it was not an obligation. Not also that the remainder of that verse says Abraham paid tithes of all. what is the all? War spoils not his own possessions. WAR SPOILS. That was wht he gave. Was he a warrior? Nope. Tithing is fraud in today's church. Giving to God from a cheerful heart is new testament's emphasis. |
Please stop all this false stuff. Why tithing is even as this important in todays's christianity is what I m still searching answers for. If it were this important Jesus must have taught on it. Brother Paul, whose teachings teachings form the foundation of christianity didnt even mention it for once. but today's church has made it the most important ting in the bible. Its absolutely fraud. Giving to the Lord cheerfully is the real thing not necessarily tithing. the most important thing is to get to that point where u can give ur all to God and not out of compulsion. Many people's tithes are just only acceptable to their pastors and not to God. |
Its a shame the comments one reads on Nairaland: so parochial, sentimental and full of ethnic and religious misrepresentation. If you are not supposed to be unequally yoked with unbelievers then i wonder what some of you are doing in the country. Who says once u are a pastor u cant run fr political office? I think its necessary to sit back nd think before pouring out shallow emotions. I m not sure we are ready for a change in this country with these types of responses. Infact its just annoying!!!!!!!!!! |
I still maintain that some people are hopelessly narrowminded. The are dull and cannot accept criticisms. They are blind followers who do not think. They are feaful individuals who have lost their own minds. Their minds have been so corrupted with phony religious platitudes that they cannot challenge status quo. They dont understand leadership, they contradict themselves and abuse those who challenge their thinking. They think they are the only christians and label others unbelievers and idol worshippers when they dont agree with them. THE TRUTH IS THEY HAVE THROWN AWAY THEIR MINDS. |
@WhyAWhy: Your comment goes a long way to prove my point: most of you are narrowminded pious individuals who cannot accept another persons opinion and criticism. THE GREATEST MATURITY IS TO BE ABLE TO ACCEPT CRITISCISM AND CHANGE WHEN NECESSARY. p.s:no be my fault say na sawdust full your head, refugee like u wen no know anything other than kwaffin garium wit gnut.una toilet don hear am. |
@WhyAWhy : That was a simple objective question/opinion. Its a shame if you don't have a logical answer ![]() |
Narrowminded chuchgoers!!!! If they are not obliged to diclose any info to the people, have you stopped to ask yourselves why they have gone ahead to brief the ag. president on what they saw? Or does divulging the info to just one third party not break the rules you are using to justify them? |
On a lighter note, I think the visit was an excursion of a sort. Opportunity of a decade to see a president who has gone AWOL for over 4months must be enticing enuf that even I cannot afford to miss. May be I would have told you guys what I saw, take some pics with him and post on nairaland and facebook. ![]() |
Its so unfortunate that such respected men have allowed themselves to be dragged into this. While it is not wrong for them to visit UMYA, to come out to say it was a private visit and then hours later are discussing the issue with another third party shows there is probably something to hide The most painful thing is that most nigerians are so forgetful and dumb. I still wonder how many of us are right thinking individuals. We have come to deify men of God above God himself. In the words of Tunde Bakare, when muslim go to the mosque they leave their sandals outside at the doors, when christians go to church they leave the brains at home Thats why we dont think pastors can make mistakes. When they are criticized we quote the bible as if they are not fallible and cannot be corrected. We beleive everything is God's will and thats why the country will be in this mess for long until we are ready to challenge status quo and fight for our freedom.@Deb: What's your measure of success? Private jets, Houses . I m sure if you are a good student of the bible you sure know that those dont count in God's sight. You should even ask if UMYA has been able to eat what he desires in the past three months even as the President. |
can urfriend pls tell us if we have to upgrade strong decoders too ![]() ![]() ![]() ?? |
While not denying the fact that the lack of good governance has brought a lot of negatives to the country, Hillary Clinton's statement is a shame to a person of her calibre. That we have leadership problems is no news and we don't need to be told again and again by those who at some point in time were responsible for it because of their own selfish interest in the country. HC should know well enuf that the guy was never associated with any radical islamist movement in Nigeria but in the UK. She should stop contradicting herself. However I believe Nigerians have been to quiet in recent years unlike the military era. Democracy has deceived us into believing good governance will flow naturally. Its time for us to start talking again!! |
@eddiebomba I dont deny that there are internal issues to be sorted within the country. Of a truth if these same leaders issuing ultimatums have concentrated same agression on resolving those internal issues we wont be here discussing whether we are a nation of terrorists. But my opinion still remains: America is wrong!!! |
@eddiebomba Please can you just stop being myopic. I wonder if it were Yoruba language you studied and never came across statistics. How can you use one man to judge 150million. That we have issues here and there does not warrant 150million of us being lebelled as terrorists. When did you ever hear of suicide rate in naija? We have more to live for than average american. We are not terrorists and thats the fact. |
A lot of you guys find it difficult to handle issues objectively. The fundamental truth is a single individual and a single isolated event is not enough for US to place Nigeria on their so called terror. Come to think of it- the guy spent only 11 years of his early life in Nigeria. Where did he get influenced with those extremist islamic views? UK of course. Does he have any link with any group in Nigeria? NO. Why did america not declare those US states where their guys killed their fellow students as a terror region and blacklist those states? Why is UK that has increasing number of Islamic fundamentalist not on the list considering the fact that Umar Mutallab got influenced in UK. America should go and sit down. They cant bamboozzle everybody. |
