People here using GTBANK DOM account are you able to withdraw dollar over the counter from inflow at the moment? I have some funds to withdraw from afternic and am looking for best option to use or if I will change my account details to bank I don't have DOM account and collect naira straight.

Precisely on the 30th of September, I withdrew from my GTB dorm account over the counter.

No issues whatsoever. If anybody has a more recent experience, please share with us.

They're insisting I send my bank's routing number, but GTB told me yesterday that they don't issue routing number. They instead gave me an IBAN number and a sort code. Any help?

Once the domain is up to 60 days old, delete the domain from afternic, then go to your registrar and unlock the domain, attempt a transfer...then re-add the domain on afternic...u will get a mail from your registrar telling you to opt in

I have seen this but I feel I should warn you just in case you don't say nobody warned you.

FOREX is not a child's play bro. We all need money but learn a real business with a model that you can find but stay away from forex. Do not say you were not told. Many of the guys that did forex on nairaland from years ago have since dumped it... I know this because some of them are friends off nairaland.

If you are really in need of a business, let me know I will list a few. However, success is highly DEPENDENT on mindset and what you feel/think about the business.

In addition to what you so rightly said, I've personally observed that most of the guys into forex are always on the hunt for people to charge money and teach trading.

They seem to make more money through coaching (and sending signals) than they actually do trading. That in itself is a clear enough picture for the discerning mind.

He should just show refund me... If only he added the previous dissing comments he made, then you'd have seen why I asked for the refund.

My advice for you?

Forget about the refund. I know that things may not be too smooth but try to get more names. You need a lot of patience in domaining. Forget about the sales reports you're seeing here and there, most of those are coming from people with sizable portfolio.

Iyke has done his part. Maybe not up to what you expected but it's now your turn to do yours by wearing a jacket of patience and putting what you've learnt into practice by acquiring as much names as your pocket can carry(you may go broke momentarily but don't mind). You'll definitely make sales.

I started domaining towards the end of my service year in 2018 and I recall vividly that I spent virtually all the token nysc paid as allowance on the first week of payment on names. Bought loads of craps (thanks to the netsol promo then) and one or two "decent" ones. It wasn't until January 2019 that I made my first sale. List the ones you have now at afternic and price them <$300.


Lesson? Domaining requires patience.

I don't think ConnectReseller renewal price is hefty. I think it is about $9 or so but check to confirm. If it is on the average price the same with your preferred registrar, why transfer. GoDaddy is $18 or so for renewal. You can transfer in this case or Gandi.net which is about $15.

But if you must transfer, do so NOT LESS THAN 2 MONTHS ( 60 DAYS) BEFORE DOMAIN EXPIRATION DATE

Transfer outs can still be initiated 30 days AFTER domain expiration. I'm sure you're aware of that.
