That's someone's business you're accusing without a clear evidence. What's your personal negative experience with Sav? Abi you're just following the bandwagon?

I had 2fa issues recently but even that was eventually resolved and it can happen with just about any site.

Prior to that, Sav has been cool and consistently offering names cheaper than most registrars.

The major message I feel like passing here though is for everyone to disable 2fa on Sav.com. If you can't, please change it to email if you're currently using SMS.

It nearly cost me the sale. The SMS wasn't getting delivered and there was absolutely no means of getting in touch with their support once you're locked out of your account.

Was directed to one of their staff at namepros who eventually gave me directions on how to go about it.

Avoid 2fa on Sav.com guys.

Sorry about the experience. Like someone already advised, use whois .com to check availability next time.

In my opinion, if you hadn't submitted it to squadhelp for review, it might still be available. GoDaddy & Squadhelp was a bad combo.

On this squadhelp issue, I'd advice everyone against submitting names you have faith in as an unregistered domain to them.

Most of their so called review experts and in-house review teams are Indians, and they're hungry like us. Those guys engage in backdoor practice. They'll delay your submission until they're sure they've regged the exceptional ones before approving it for you to chase shadows.

If you don't have the fund to buy the name, keep it in your watchlist until money comes. You can then register and submit to them - if you like.
