Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Cover Letter by kentro201: 10:07pm On Sep 08, 2013
This is the cover letter you requested for...this mine..u can edit to yours..

Dear Recruiter,
RE: APPLICATION FOR JOB
I recently came across your job advert for the above position and wish to apply for it. I come from an advanced academic and analytical background having completed BSc (Hons) in Economics and interested in working for your company. I believe I have the relevant skills and experience to make a positive contribution to your company, and I have enclosed a CV with this covering letter. As an individual with great appetite to acquire new skills and experience, your esteemed company can offer me the opportunity to work on a wide range of challenging and stimulating projects.

Have had four years of study in Economics and I have also gained experience as an admin manager, logistics and audit with different firms in Nigeria. I had the opportunity to play key roles in almost every step of an Admin manager role; from updating files and staff records, strategic administration of the company and logistics, monitoring of income and expenditure on the company’s account, progress and writing factual and interpretative reports. This has provided me with the ability to handle data and gained key experience in working in an industry which are relevant to the job description.

Having read and gained economics and business management at both undergraduate and at basic professional level, the position you are offering is tailored to my academic interests. It may be seen from my resume that I undertook relevant modules and employment experience.

I want to move into a role that is going to challenge and enhance my skills, and further my knowledge as an economist. I know that a job with a company like yours will fulfill these requirements; I am of the opinion that I can offer a great deal to the company as well as meeting the requirements of the position. I am an extremely motivated person, I have a strong academic background, good communication and administrative and all other related report writing skills, and I bring enthusiasm and liveliness to any situation. I look forward to hearing from you regarding my application and will be available for interview from the date of receipt of this letter.

Yours Faithfully

Investment / Re: Man Who Created Own Credit Card Sues Bank For Not Sticking To Terms by kentro201: 8:39am On Aug 12, 2013
Hmmm...some peeps just want to comment here...some made comments without reading the full details of the article/post.
Firstly...why would a bank send an unsigned contract documents to attest?...
Secondly...The man is a client and has all the right to review, reassess any documents before signing.
Thirdly..Th man has no case to answer..simply because he read carefully the documents sent by the bank and made a readjustment which is a normal agreement terms.....please check the customer service code ..section 192 for this...
For the bank to issue an unsigned document to a client ....it simply means the has not been binded by law until a party or each party signs.

The bank signed a document and he has binded the contract...the man did not forge any document and moreso has no case to answer...

If the documents was pre-signed by the bank before it is sent to him...then. It is forgery...buh if the document was sent after the man made adjustment then it is called clients /customers conduct n interest...check the customers code for bankers page 80..
Please update on the preceedings..
Thank you

Hello Fellow Naija people, It doesn't really matter to me what is any body aim or ambition for/of Going to the States, whether you are going based on Students or hustling, it doesnt matter to me cos, In any level you or you find your yourself all you need is GOD, Alot of people are in the USA that are not students but made it well and are still making it, and lots of students in there too making it, So it depends on your potentials, If you are in the states suffering as a student doesn't mean you should discourage other incoming students, everybody dey go US go hustle whether real student or fake student , just face ur business and dont discourage others, And finally for those giving the advice, all you need is say your own and forget, dont force advice on anybody, make dem reach there ,
see for themselves,

Wish everybody in the states SUCCESS, whether stuent or fake student, na money wey you make for there matter for naija,

thanks

Hello,, @Tosinville, Please i need an advice, I have a B.sc in economics from OAU, and Nysc Certificate from 2008/2009, and a computer certificate for a 6months programm in 2010 and also a certificate of peace analysis course with .USIP.ORG, i have gotten my i-20 from california state university , Eastbay, for economics masters, So what i need is, would the VO be angry or ask why i dont have a working experience?, And also do you have any likely questions that i might asked concerning economics, And i also have also got admitted again to Western michigan state university, Does this increase my chances of getting a visa i mean been admitted into 2universities and my other certificates too,

This is for everybody here who has something tangible to contribute, cos my interview date is AUG, 25th and my school resumes sept 21st,

thanks

@ kidUrbane, Then calculate the amount in dollars to naira and add extra money to show the VO, AND make sure the sponsor is well related to you so that you'll be able to defend the acct, it will be easy for you insha allah.
