Jonathan lost because of his non-performance, if Tinubu is as strong as you think, why did they take the Senate and Rep from him, he's demanding for apology, his yet to get it.

What Saraki has gained is irreversible in the short term. However, he has locked himself in a dead end position.

In the long term, he has lost credibility in APC and the party leadership are uncomfortable trusting their Vice Presidential or even Presidential ticket in his hands.

The PDP want him to come back. If he does return voluntarily, or if he is involuntarily kicked out by APC and rejoins PDP, the success will be short lived as well. PDP could decide to impeach him and elevate Ikweremadu as Senate President. If they accomodate him to live out his term, they are aware that APC is regaining the Senate and House in 2019 and both Saraki and Ikweremadu will loose their short term leadership and become floor Senators. Having witnessed his intrigues too many times, PDP is unlikely to field Saraki as a VP or Presidential candidate.....for fear he might compromise the party interest for his selfish and impulsive interest.

So either way its looked at, Saraki is finished at national level. He might still have relevance in Kwara politics after his lesdership in Senate.

How can you say Saraki is finished, when you've not recovered from his first dose of game.

It is interesting the Igbo people of the South East are always against themselves. When the popsition of Senate President was given to them between 1999 and 2007 it was war and impeachment saga. Immediately the Ighos phased out of the scene the polity became stabilized and they are at their usual unhealthy rivalry against Ekweremadu again. Now, that Senator David Maart can no longer protect Ekweremadu as he did for 8 years from his hostile Igbo brothers, it is obvious that his days are numbered as Deputy Senate President of Nigeria. Igbo people are the most disunited tribe in Nigeria.

Fayose and Tinubu are from different tribes, Lateef Jakonde that betrayed Awo are Igbos. Obasanjo and Ogun state drug-baron -Senator are not Yoruba.
