It took me a lot of guts to bring up this matter here because I already know the reactions by majority of Nairalanders. I know I will be lampooned, lambasted, dragged, trolled and insulted. But no problems.

Imagine the quantum of cements bought for projects in Southeast (Onitsha, Owerri, Aba, Enugu, Ebonyi etc) but the VATs are paid in the Southwest and the North but the consumption is done in the Southeast.

All my invoices from Unilever, P&G and other companies are VATed in Lagos State, Southwest or the location of the manufacturing company while the consumption is done in Southeast. That's an abrasion but for the ignoramuses, they don't know what's coming at them after the passage of the TAX bills.

However, I notice that some childish inconsequential posts surprisingly make it to the front Page, probably simply because the poster is a known regular customer on nairaland, so whatever rubbish they publish which is always their personal opinion, whether relevant or irrelevant, is always sent to the front page to constitute nuisance for innocent readers.
