Visa on arrival is not longer processed as it used to be. Can only be done online for a business traveller. Focus on emergency travel certificate or visa.
Pls you have any idea how I can process it. Do I need to get to the embassy. And besides there's no Nigeria embassy where I am. How do I do it. Please this is really urgent. Please

Please help a sister in need!!!

After processing my LO's US passport.. What are the next steps to take.... Can I apply for an ETC without getting a Nigerian passport for my LO?

The return date for my ticket for Delta Airlines was 30th September but I will like to travel earlier than that day. What do you advise I do?

Am I to book a one-way ticket or return ticket for my LO?
Please how did you finally apply for the emergency travel certificate. Please I need to apply for my LO as soon as possible. I have no idea how to go about it

Hello house. Had my LO in Boston. Very expensive place. But considering what is going on with Texas decided to stick with my relatives here. Please I need help filling the passport application form. Do I need social security number before I can apply for her passport?

I await your response as this is really urgent.

Thank you all.

I'm in Boston too.. leaving next week.

Birth certificate and SS should have been done at the hospital. Normally ready for collection at Boston City hall in 2weeks from date of application. SSN is sent out by mail within 3weeks.

For the US passport, you can apply once you get your consent form and birth certificate. Consent form is form DS-3053 printable from the US passport website. Hubby would take the unsigned form to the US embassy for notarization(make sure he fills your name as it is on your passport). He can book appointment on US embassy Nigeria website..you can Google 'notarization US embassy Nigeria'

He will need to send you the original copy to apply for US passport. DHL takes about 4days to arrive in Boston. My hubby paid 23k to send. You can book appointment to apply at Boston passport agency if your ticket date is within 2weeks or you need a visa within 4wks. Just tell them you fall in that category, they don't need to know about voa. Make sure you go with copy of your ticket. Check US passport website for detailed list of documents.

My LO's passport was ready in 2days.

As for medical bills..just prepare yourself. Boston is not cheap but if you look at the bill and it doesn't look right, don't be afraid to ask billing for review.

All the best!
Hello madam. Pls what hospital did you use in Boston.

Hello everyone. Please I need to know if there's anyone heading to Houston Texas by April ending so we can share apartments. Staying alone wouldn't be easy and of course it will be cheaper if we split the cost of apartments with some one going for delivery. Please anyone heading to Houston by April ending should reach out. Thank you all.

[quote author=jaykinde post=75200117]Please didn't they respond to letter of intent quote author=Ama85 post=75036323]I have been following this trend recently and would want to share experience
- Had B1/B2 before now (though a frequent traveller) but when God answered us and I conceived, we agreed to have our child in the USA.

- I sent a change of intent letter
- Travelled with Virgin Atlantic 22/01/19 and landed at JFK this morning.
- Below is my POE experience
* Did the self service stuff and got an X afterwards oooo ( that got me scared)
* Headed to the CBP Officer who only asked me 3 questions;
CBP Officer : What are you here for?
Me: I am here for tourism and to give birth to my child
CBP Officer: Where will you stay?
Me: Hotel...gave the address
CBP Officer How long are you here for?
Me: I am here for 9weeks and 6days.
The correct guy took my biometrics and stamped me in for 6months and wished me a safe delivery
I headed to get My bags, custom did not even check my bag upon all the orishirishi I declared. God just had mercy on me. Thank you all for sharing your experiences and contributions. I will come back to share the complete testimony when LO arrives
[/quote

Please did you get a response after you sent the letter of intent?

Thank you

Happy Sunday everyone. I have been reading every update closely and I appreciate everyones input. I really need this clarified. We that has a B1 and B2 and we intend to use it for purpose, though the visa was for vacation which I already traveled once last year with it. Do we really need to send a letter of intent as I have browsed through the US embassy website and I found no such thing as a letter of intent. And besides the visa itself is inclusive of medical purposes. Please house kindly advice. Is it a criteria to send a letter of intent that you are going to the US for medical purposes when the visa itself can be justifiably used for such purpose. Thank you all. I will appreciate your inputs. As I intend to travel for birth purposes by April ending.
TravelRe: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 6 by Kesspru: 4:15pm On Jan 02, 2019
This is really confusing. I thought that the B1 B2 visa also allows for medical purposes in the US. Why is it a must you send a letter of intent before embarking on a medical journey knowing fully well that the visa itself covers this purpose. Especially if one has used the visa for one of its purpose like vacation before medical purpose. These things are tiring.

Hello everyone. I have been reading all the feedbacks and I have learnt a lot so far. Please does anyone have or know any cheap hospital in Boston as that is where I have family. And is it best to fly directly to Boston or go through New York JFK. Just trying to consider an easy POE. Though iv passed through JFK a couple of times heading to Boston. I'll be glad to receive a response.
