This country will be a nice country if the procedures for resident permit is as easy as you said.

If you don't know what to say just read and pass. If you are coming here you will soon face the same process.

Agbaletu. Thank you and remain blessed

I am actually an International Consultant for one of the Government's Agencies for the past one Year. I will soon round off.
It is very easy to extend your visa or get residence permit.
Just go to the immigration office with a letter of introduction that states the purpose why you need visa extension or residence permit, police report from Nigeria, your degree certificates and you pay 100,000RwF to get 14 months residence permit. I think your visa can be extended for another 39 days without the police report.

That for your advice. I have been here for awhile now and l will like to get my residents permit to enable me to have enough time either setting up a business or get a Job related to my area of study. I have police report, but l am only with the copy of me HND result l left it behind for it not to get missing. Can l use the photo copy of my HND to apply with the police report.
And some people said renting an apartment can also give someone chance to get three month extension that someone just need only a written agreement with landlord here to tender. I have accommodation with just a mere small written agreement on a paper as an agreement between me and the landlord. Please kindly help. Thank you

suxes2005: The thing is this, I talk to lotta people from NL on daily basis asking me
about Mexico visa. visit and student ish which I know next to nothing about

I'm opening this thread to allow for discussion and advice / help on how to go about
either of the visas, tourist or student.

This thread is not for migrating to usa from mexico (your destiny is dead on arrival if you think that)

Its simply on a basis of do it yourself mexico visa.

I talked to some people and yet they kept on claiming w/out an agent you can't get the visa
which i strongly believe its a lie.

Please if you have first hand information about getting their visa in abuja, then kindly paste here

Do not debate either the country is good or bad. Strictly for visa talks.

Sheyi
There is thread for mexico general enquiry that I created. Don't let us duplicate the thread.

Bro you know that is not easy for a fresh traveler to get working permit so how i mine going to do this been a hustler?

If you are in Nigeria you will try your luck at the same time if you travel abroad you will also try your luck. meanwhile, you cannot use some good country abroad to compare Nigeria in terms of well being, basic social amenities and a good contact, I am not talking about poor countries so hear me well. try your luck and be prayerful. with God all things are possible but that for those people who try hard to help themselves.

by the time u get abroad .most of u guys yearning to travel out will realise that the money u are about to spend now or will spend in getting out naija is the same amount over 80% of those outside are looking for to come back home to naija.a word is good enough for the wise

Man, stop fooling people with all your false statement. And I am so sorry for some people like you here who can not make their own research on internet that listen to your false world. Do you know how many people applying for SA and uk alone per day? Find the answer and think why they are traveling. Are they not wise nor having money to invest in Nigeria? Then why are they traveling? Solve the equation. God bless!

Bossman: Been to Mexico on vacation a few times. Basically to Puerto Vallarta and Cozumel. A nice place to vacation BTW. Yes, as mentioned, there are not too many blacks there. The few times we ventured of the resort, we stood out. My daughter had braids in her hair. Some locals wanted to take pictures with her, and others wanted to touch her hair. LOL! Within the touristy areas, they are used to blacks, since a lot of Americans visit those places.
Good comment. We expect more, cheers!

Absolutely heartbreaking story which illustrates how desperate Nigeria is that a person with renal failure living in Nigeria is on an express train to death...unless of course they've enough money to afford treatment.
May God help her soul.

ilugunboy: I have no problem with it . . . . . . as long as it conforms to law and subject itself to forensic scrutiny and routine audit by CBN to check abuses by terrorist groups to channel funds for their activities . . . . which I think is the basic sublime fear of the antagonists.
This is insultive for other religion. This is not what we need now in this country. This shows that CBN lagido is a big time destroyer. For the people supporting this kind of bank are ready for separation. A reasonable people should tell me what CBN lagido has achieve since his inception. Everyone is agitating for peace to reign in this noble country not awoof banking to cover face and use it to fund boko haram.enough is enough.
Travel / Re: Nigerians In Afghanistan, Lets Meet Here by keystone123(m): 7:50pm On Jan 17, 2013
blacklion: There are several hundred Nigerians in Afghanistan currently. Many are serving with the US military or working with private security companies and other service providers/contractors like KBR, DynCorp etc. There are also some Nigerians with the UN and international NGOs. There are also thousands of other Africans there.

Until late 2011 when the US forces finally left Iraq, there were several hundred Nigerians serving with the US military or working for contractors/service providers and international NGOs.

Even now that the US troops have left, there are Nigerians working with the UN or private companies. Iraq has the third largest oil reserves in the world and all the major players are there - Chevron, ExxonMobil, Shell, BP, Total, Elf etc.

Even in Somalia too, there are Nigerians serving with the UN and international NGOs.

Work can take you anywhere in the world.
Yes you are really talking sense. I am very sure of what you are saying. Internation NGOs do send so many volunteers there for a mission. Like Doctor without border, salvation army, Redcross, Transition abroad, cross country project abroad etc.

Its not as you think, Afganistan now is still safer than Northern 9igeria....it's not like bomb is dropping everywhere, how many 9igerians are among the bombing victims there?? have not heard of anything.

It's even better there because it's targeted bombing not senseless killing of christians happening here....i hope you grab it?
