For sometime now Adams Oshiomole, the New APC chairman has been having several meetings with the APC caucus of the National Assembly which includes both the APC senators and House of Representatives members. The Speaker, Hon. Yakubu Dogara, as at the time of this write up, is still a bona-fide member of APC. can someone confirm if he is always at these meetings where Adams, the comrade, usually talks tough and appear quite intimidating.

My mum was always in the habit of spanking us with bare hands anytime we did something wrong. This hand-spanking was always worse than using cane. She is a teacher and still teaches till date. One nice evening, I messed up and she "landed" me gbua! gbua! bgbua! I lay down straight on the floor screaming only once and turning my eyes inside out. My mum rushed to me, she was afraid, held me up, started shivering and thinking that I had fainted as a result of the beating. She tried everything to "revive" me, yet I pretended the more. I joined my teeth together and they tried to use spoon to ensure that my teeth don't get locked. Sprinkled so much water on me. In the process of the "reviving" I finished 3 tins of peak milk alone, One big bottle of Lucozade, and was about to move up to some eggs, but not for the too much water that she sprinkled on me. I couldn't bear that any longer as the water had soaked me so much. Finally "I came back to life". Till today she doesn't beat with bare hands not even her pupils in school and she still make reference to that incidence even to my wife and kids not knowing I faked the entire scenario. I have confessed to my wife anyway, so whenever she talks about it, myself and my wife will be laughing.

For weeks now I have refused to load airtime into my MTN line. This because the moment I load, they will take out N100. If you are going to court on this pls I will join you. Enough of all these their wahala.

Thorn in between a high-handed cabinet and economic team members that are threatening him with resignations; and the poor masses shouting on top of their voices and calling him names on top of their demands for Fuel subsidy removal.

Jonathan is a total dissapointment to the teeming Nigerian populace that fell for his so called messianic posture.

Akwa Ibom Boils: Police Shoot and Arrest Udoedehe’s Supporters

The resentment against the high-handedness and repression of the political associates and friends of Senator John James Akpanudoedehe by Governor Godswill Akpabio came to a head this Tuesday in Uyo when persons in their thousands protesting the Senator’s detention, were brutally molested, arrested and detained by the police.
According to our Reporter who was on ground to cover the peaceful protest which commenced from the campaign secretariat of the senator who is challenging the incumbent governor in the 2011 governorship elections, snaked through major streets of the city, with people abandoning their normal everyday chores to join the protest.
The police from “A” Division led by the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) whose name could not be immediately ascertained, led policemen into dispersing the peaceful protest of the angry civilians with violence, beating, molesting, arresting and shooting the protesters.
The police is reported to have gone into the campaign secretariat of Senator Akpanudoedehe to arrest persons found in and around the building and in the street, including staff of the secretariat who reported for duty.
Police source say that the police is statutorily empowered to protect lives and property, and cannot allow peace in the state to be disrupted by any set of persons.
When asked to confirm if the protest was violent that warranted disruption, a senior police officer who sought for anonymity explained that, “the protests might be hijacked by hoodlums. This is why the police stepped in to ensure that nothing nasty happens to security.”
Another police source from “A” Division threatened that if the journalist does not leave the scene of the incident, he will “descend” on him.
Meanwhile, over fifty persons are reported arrested by the police, while several others sustained injuries of various kinds.
There is tension in the state right now, and some pundits believe that the series of arrests, killings, kidnaps, and molestation of supporters of Senator Akpanudoedehe in particular, and the killings and marginalization of the Ibibios and non-Annangs by the police and persons said to be loyal to Governor Akpabio, might lead to reprisals of serious ethnic proportions.
There appears to be a conflict in the investigations of the State Security Service (SSS) whose operatives, according to impeccable sources, refused to be compromised on this matter, and the police has vowed to ensure that the real truth is reflected in their report, despite insinuations that over N500 million might have been paid to the police to produce an “indicting” report against the governorship aspirant.Information has it that even the police high command in Abuja appears confused and polarised over the matter, and there are suggestions that a special investigation of the police might be ordered, to confirm concerns of culpability of some very senior officers.

The campaign office of the governorship aspirant has been shut down on the orders of Governor Akpabio through Mr. Rugbere, the Akwa Ibom State commsiioner of police, and somebody who spoke with our Reporter along Udo Otung Uboh Street where the Positive Change campaign headquarters is, stated that this was part of the original intention of the plot.

Gov. Godswill Akpabio is the worst governor in Nigeria today. He is suffering from "squandamania". All the so called infracstructures you are seeing today in Akwa Ibom state were executed by the previous administration of Arc (Obong) Victor Attah.

Godswill Akpabio is sponsoring kidnappers in the state and killing and maiming innocent members of the public just to ensure he gets a 2nd term ticket. Pls forget about all the media propaganda, they are all sponsored by him. I live in Akwa Ibom and I can tell you there is nothing on ground to show for the almost one trillion naira collected by Akpabio in less than 3 years.

Godswill Akpabio is the worst Governor in Nigerian history. Within 3 years, he has recieved over 1 trillion Naira from federation account, yet not even a project to show for in the entire state. He is a thief of the highest order. He will run farther than Ibori may be beyond Dubai.
