franchasng:
Are you looking for a trusted friend who will stand by you in good and in bad, then go and get yourself a good Igbo person because Igbos will stand by you whether good or bad.

All the reason people hate Igbos are not because of Igbo people action but in their bid to defend the person everyone hates and oppresses.

It started in 1966 January when a group of young military officers led by Igbo soldiers decided to fight for a Yoruba man; Awolowo whom the Igbo soldiers believed was unjustly jailed by the then Nigerian Government led by Tafawa Belewa, Nnamdi Azikiwe, etc.

The young Igbo officers wanted to kill all the people in power and release Awolowo from jail and make him President because they believed Awolowo was a better leader than Nnamdi Azikiwe, Akintola, Tafawa Belewa, Ahmadu Bello, etc.

Now, the person that headed this coup was Maj. Kaduna Nzeogwu, a Nigerian soldier whose parents are from Okpanam in today Asaba Delta State, and born and grew up in Kaduna State.

Igbos were blames solely for carrying out an Igbo coup, but nobody can come out to testify that he or she saw when Ohanaeze Ndigbo had meeting and decided to carry out a military coup to kill non Igbos in power yet the rest of Igbo tribe paid the huge price.

Again, Igbos in Anambra, Abia, Enugu, Imo, Ebony didn't say ah, Major Nzeogwu is not a full Igbo, he is Delta Igbo, they took the whole blame and defended Nzeogwu and stood by him till death. But when it comes to crude oil talk, they will say no, they are not real Igbo, they are Delta Igbo. When Igbos are being persecuted, they will deny being Igbo and claim Delta or Rivers Igbo just to exonerate themselves but when they are in trouble or being persecuted, Igbos will all stand by them in good and in bad. cry cry

The same thing Igbos did for Goodluck Jonathan and even after they ganged up against Goodluck and removed him and kept pushing to persecute him and possibly jail him, Igbos continued to defend Goodluck and stand by him even though he is no longer holding power and even though Goodluck did nothing visible for Igbos in terms of infrastructural development.

Igbos are doing same for Atiku, taking the bullet for Atiku.

Even when Buhari was contesting and failing and people were all against Buhari, it was an Igbo lawyer, Mike Ahamba (SAN) that was defending Buhari and speaking for him and telling people to give Buhari a chance, but today the fair weather friends are now claiming relationship with Buhari. Once he leaves office now, they will all disappear into thin air as usual and Buhari will become a monster to them.

Make una continue, God is watching who is who, we can't keep being cunning and getting away with it forever, the chicken must come home to roast one day, one day, just time cool
Lol. Fight for the Yoruba yet failed to kill Azikiwe, the man behind the conspiracy that made Awolowo become a prisoner? Fight for the Yorubas by killing all Yoruba leaders while leaving the Ibos counterpart?

Are we supposed to forget the fact that it was the Ibos among the coup plotters that leaked the secret to Azikiwe and other Ibo leaders? Trust worthy, my ass!

How are we supposed to know the Nigerians who can perform well? Amaechi was a performer and needs to be retained. Aregbesola's roads and schools were something that couldn't be comprehended because they were amazing.

Only Olusola Oke is a bit unknown as regard to infrastructures but then, he's never had an opportunity
to showcase this howeverr he's well known as an outspoken lawyer and maybe I'm a bit biased about Oke but I want an Ilaje man to have a federal post and seeing how passionate Olusola Oke is, he's the right man to bring some form of development to Ilaje community. We need a seaport badly in Ondo state.

Anyway, the aforementioned two, Ameachi and Aregbesola are tried and tested.

Atiku was defeated from inside ranks...

Northern Christians are bitter at PDP for continously picking a Muslim everytime Presidency is zoned to North. Even when zoned to South, they never see fit to pick a Northern Christian as VP....its always a Muslim.

Add on top of that the defector issue you pointed out. The Presidential candidate was a defector, the VP was a defector, the Director General of the Campaign was a defector. It doesnt take much to see how the contest would end. Local politics in places like Oyo, Ondo, Kano, Sokoto, Imo, that have turned people away from their governors is what gave Atiku some boost. Over 4million gap between Buhari and Atiku. Now, imagine that people of Oyo, Ondo, Kano, Sokoto, Imo did not have issues at local level and had voted in line with APC....that gap would be close to 7million.

When Wike sidelined SW and made the statement about SW looking for harvest where it did not sow, and then they picked VP from SE and began a PR that Jennifer was the most befitting for First Lady if Atiku won, I knew Ibos were positioning to hijack Atiku administration like they did GEJ and a repeat of SW marginalization was loading. It was clear to see.

In Lagos we actually circulated this possibility around and away from social media. Gbenga Daniel thought he would be made SGF but it would not go that way at all. An Atiku win would have become an instrument of reprisal against SW for its support of Buhari in 2015 against GEJ.

We have polarized politically. PDP is now accepted as a party of SS/SE and APC as a party of SW and NW. NC and NE are swing zones.

Yeah mourinho was brilliant wasn't he? Mourinho was just gliding down the centre of the pitch, didn't want to praise or notice him tho grin. I was just focused on neves, but you'd expect mourinho to be more calm on the ball,he's got vast experience in the game,he's faced Spanish midfield in their prime so nothing really would rattle him,its just that since neves is still young and has a good understanding of the role,I think he'd improve on his faults...carrick could help him tho in some aspects of his positioning like cutting off passing lanes and fining that vertical splitting passes..
Moutinho was good yesterday. You're quite right about Moutinho having more experience than Ruben. Also, this is Rubens first season of playing in a top league hence, he's still getting used to all these.

However, he won't come cheap. Mendez control the club and was the one who forked out the huge money used in procuring Ruben and for the price Wolves would demand, I would be expecting a finished product which Ruben isn't.

Personally, I would like Van De beek because apart from the fact that he tick all the boxes as a no 6 for me, I doubt he would be as expensive as Ruben. He's also more mobile and agile than Ruben but I need to add that he's been mostly deployed as a no 8 or 10 for Ajax this season all because the Ajax coach wants him near the goal post because of his goal scoring skills and throughballs. He has even stopped taking freekicks because the coach wants him in the box when one is being taken. He's got great heading skill and fantastic movement. He's at his best as a no 6 and I feel he's being underutilized playing as a no 10 or 8. In fact, it was the no 6 position that made him known.

Any of Ruben or Beek is okay by me but I'm worried about Wolves fleecing us.

Kagawa judging by wolves performances this season and yesterday own, what's your opinion about getting Ruben neves to replace matic...he's good enough for me
He's good but I'm still a bit sceptical about him.

First, Moutinho has been the difference maker for the Wolves. No doubt Moutinho has been enjoying playing off another playmaker, that is Ruben, in the midfield but I would love to see Ruben take up the usual dominant role he always assumed for the Wolves while they were in the championship. He's even been terrible without Moutinho this season.

Secondly I have noticed Neves always seem to falter and withdrawn into his shell whenever he's faced with high pressing opposition such as Liverpool, Bournemouth, Watford, Huddersfield, Mancity. Only Moutinho has come out of this games unscathed and looked his dominant self regardless of the opponent whereas Ruben seems to look ruffled and even had problem stringing passes together.

Thirdly, his aerial duel is simply nonexistent. I think that was one of the reason Klopp went in for Fabinho even when he could have utilised Wijnaldum in the no 6 role and his hunch was confirmed when Wijnaldum looked helpless against several aerial balls played by one small team in the champion league. Liverpool even lost the match by high margin, the match ended in 3-0 loss. I think Klopp stopped playing Wijnaldum in the role since then. What I'm saying is I would prefer a midfielder who is great in the air to help us shield our defence from lot of aerial threats.

Apart from these, he's been good and has done well in building up the play from the back and recycling lot of turn over. And when he isn't under pressure, his passes have been good, especially his long passes. He's still quite young and there are rooms to mprove.

Are you sure you can comprehend? There are couples of families in the conservative north with the children being either moslems and christians. It is usually a product of love jihad gone wrong and like I clearly stated, an Hausa/Yoruba moslem man will never freely give out his daughter to a christian.

What do they have all in common, they married a christian woman. Why not show me any of them, a christian marrying a moslem lady.

Igbos ladies marry moslems, travel and see things.

It is just a pity you guys don't understand what Osu means. Hebrews have their Cities of Refuge and whoever make it alive to that city will be spared of any sin he commits.

Our own city of refuge is a shrine. If you commit a crime and dedicate yourself to a shrine, you are an Osu and your descendant.

You become consecrated to the gods and whoever finds your trouble, troubles the gods, so people generally afford those people to avoid incurring the wrath of the gods.

You try to avoid an osu as much as possible unless you want to risk the gods' visit.

This is the essence behind the Osu tradition. It is still better than Ababoku tradition of yorubas.
Liar. The Hebrews who fled to the land of refuge are allowed to return after the priest death. They are not confined to permanent segregation like Ibo does to the OSU. There is nothing similar to the nonsense you wrote.

Another fact is the Hebrew women were always given
a form of inheritancee in the family unlike the Ibos. Lol

That's the problem with banking on counter attacking style because the team would always face hard task whenever the team square up with opposition that leave the ball to the team and sit back. This has been France's problem after the world cup. We both have one thing in common which is lack of a playmaker in our counter attack set-up. Oops, we both have Pogba in the team grin grin

Anyway, that's more reason why we need a playmaker in the midfield. This playmaker would always know the right move to take in order to break the opposition's defensive set-up and create space for their team mates either through his touches, movement or passes which none of our players have. We need at least one, if not two of these players.

We need to tap up Ceballos from Madrid. They hardly play him anyway although that hasn't affected his chances of getting into the Spanish team lineup as well as his performance, which has been fantastic for the Spanish national team but eventually, he would want a club he could play consistently. Ceballos is also defensively solid.

Get in Ceballos, Van De beek, Zagodou/De ligt and Sancho and our season is made.

I don’t know what to tell you. I started watching the video again but stopped after about a minute or two because I couldn’t bear another minute Of shakushaku dancing.

His dribbles aren’t always necessary and most times to get to rid of the opponent he had to use his strength. There’s usually a little touch here or there and if it’s a senior league, there are many instances he won’t get away with it. That’s what I’m tryna tell you.

He’s not even a clever player and he complicates simple stuff oftentimes.

If you think he’s good enough, sign him to your own football club. Shikena.
You're changing mouth. You stated that his dribbling was due to his strength and I asked you to pinpoint the exact time he dribbled an opponent while using his strength but you failed to do so except to keep ranting about something else. See how foolish you look. In a bid to put him down, you cooked up false narration and that shows you're a fraud. As simple as ABC.

Like I said earlier, he was deployed on the wing eventhouh he's a midfielder and due to one reason or another, he felt he should operate as a winger who constantly takes on opponent like he opined in his interview but before the end of the season, he dropped such idea and combined very well with his team mates which was seen clearly in the clip.

Anyway, what I'm impressed with is his uncanny ability to create space and time for himself within seconds of being under pressure. I won't even say he does this by dribbling or trickery because most of the time, it was just his touch and control that he used to evade the opponent. I also like his movement both on the ball and off the ball.

Another thing I love is he always seem to provide options for his teammates, that is, he always want the ball and never cower behind others. I also love the fact that he's always the first to get to any loose ball on the pitch. I watched another clip of his and I saw him intercept plenty passes from the opponent. There are many attributes I love in that clip. However, I would have loved to see more passes from him to gauge his throughball and vertical passes but then, he was deployed on the wing most of the time in the clip.

Even the redcafe community who loves to put down foreign players but only have praises for their own think kehinde was good.

You may have your reason for promoting him but what I see is lots of unnecessary dribbles and complicated decisions. Only towards the end of the clip- the last 30 secs or so- did he make rightly-timed simple decisions, albeit with a good dose of flicks and quick-feet movements.

He completed some of his dribbles by successfully outmuscling his opponents. In a senior league, that won’t be the case.

Like I said he’s another Willian waiting to happen or at best, a Hazard; although YouTube clips are rarely enough to go by.
None of his dribbling had anything to do with outmuscling like you keep saying. You obviously didn't watch the video clip. Why don't you show me where he dribbled by outmuscling the opponent? The only time I saw him apply a bit of strength was when he was winning the ball. He's a small player sef. Abeg, go watch the clip and tell me the particular point his dribbling was based on his strength.

The only area I would thumb him down would have to do with his tendency to hold on too long on the ball at times but I think it has to do with the fact that he was often deployed on the wing and as such, he felt he should operate as a true winger. If he was in the midfield, I would judge him better. In one of his interviews, he said the midfield is his best role but now that he's been deployed on the wing, people should be ready to see more flashes/silkiness from him. Btw, he already gave up such idea and was combining with his team mates towards the end of that season. That's what we call learning.

Anyway, I have watched Gomes' clip and I wasn't as impressed with his tekkers as Kehinde. No doubt Gomes' is also technical.
